Lower Parel is a railway station in Western line of local Mumbai railway zone. It serves to the area of Parel and Tardeo. It is a small railway station where only slow local trains halt. Station is not so well maintained also lacks basic amenities. Nearby major railway station is Mumbai Central.

Lower Patel Railway station on Western railway line is nicely developed station with ample space. On West side many tall business buildings are coming up. Close to new 5 star hotels. Its central place for new corporates.

Lot of commercial offices have shifted from churchgate to lower Parel

Now , I have been here for countless times , as my college was nearest to this station , so my review would definitely be on my long experience here ,1.Station is maintained properly and adequate cleanliness .2. This is an important place where working class people get off to get to their MNCs and Industrial working places - As this is a hotspot of Multinational Parks and many Industrial companies too, and not to forget tourist places like Worli and posh areas nearby.3.The main concern - The bridge - Theres a bridge which connects the station and main road ,which is now in reconstruction and causing a lot of traffic , thus it is suggested to take the best walking to nearby bus stops , and not take a cab from just outside the station.4. The bridge people use to get out of station is unnecessarily big and long to walk.This is all I know and experienced,wish you a good experience too, like this comment for if found useful . Thanks

Always crowded you must need to go there so many things to eat on street food on both the side and so cheep. You can drink nimbu pani ( lemon juice) just in three 3 rupees

West line of the mumbai local is best among all lines according to mumbaikar. Time punctuality and frequency of trains are good. Lower Parel also connected to central line here from currey road (within walking distance). So it work like junction point.

Once a textile will railway station with no crowd and also a yard for railway coaches repair, now has turned into a skyscraper building area, on the mill lands. A new shopping mall named phoniex mall on the mill lands is a marvelous one as well as extensive. One can spend nearly 6 hours leisurely

One of the most crowded station. But nice.. Lower parel station has different stand from any other stations. Classic and simple.

Station is very well built. Got a pure water booth as well. The only downside is that it gets way too crowded drying the peak business hours.

Station is ok .....but once come out side station its very Crowded because of hawker and roadside stall ...random bike and car parking.

One of the best station. Is clean and has good connectivity. Pheonix Mall is at walkable distance. Also it is a home to most of the Corporate offices in Mumbai. Its a bit crowded during office hours. This station is airy so you can feel fresh before the train arrives.

Station well build! Area one of the best in Mumbai but still has some things that can be improved a lot.

This isnt updated timetable and the platform numbers are missing. M-indicator is better option.

Less walking space, foot path filled with stalls, People walks on the road and get hitted by vehicles, Main bridge west side is bad with lots of unwanted ups and downs walk. Lots of space is under station still unused for benefits

I think lower parel is present as well as future of mumbai, no place in mumbai is as convienient as lower parel from all points of view. u just name thing and that is available at this place...from corporate ofices to malls to retail shops to medicare to restaurants.. but 4 stars are due to station condition.. govt should look after station of such important place.

Lower Parel station is part of the western line train corridor starting from Churchgate and upto Virar. The western line trains are always better in terms of upgradtion and quality. The station is very basic in nature and does not have a great design or aesthetic. In heavy rains the rain water lashes the commuters waiting for the train. The station connects the heart of Mumbai that is the lower parel area which is the original central business district also. The real estate prices in these area are very high. Also dadar is very near to the station. This area has been a densely populated one with major industrial and corporate offices nearby.
