This place is maybe one of very few who serve Band plaster. Even 90% of the people here dont know what band plaster is. They think this is same as normal burger but it isnt and these guys are only those of few who makes these delicious burgers. Please give them a visit

Istanbul has the wet burger. Lahore has the bun plaster. World class street fast food. Ask for the burger extra brown and the tea extra strong.

Review №8

I ordered the bund pluster and French toast. I got it via delivery. I liked the bund pluster. A layer of well-cooked egg and shami was sandwiched between the bread. The bread was fresh and soft. The shami was normal. The burger as a whole was freshly backed. However, no ketchup etc was added to it.The toast was over sweetened, and it lacked sandwiching anything between itself.

The place is just a simple shop, on one side of it there is tuc shop and adjacent to it is band plaster shop.Coming to taste the taste was just right. Difference from the regular burger is just that there are neither sauces involved inits making and nor are served with its. Just a butter slice is extra ingredient. Egg is also half fried not full fried. The place was neat and tidy. Service was also fast and it just took 30 sec to make 6 band plaster.Recommended for one time only, if you are sauce lover.Tea is also served here. Price is 60 rs only for one band plaster.

Bunplaster; the original desi burger. The ultimate perfect combination of a shami tikki and a sunnyside fried egg, no ketchup They dont serve french fries with it, only coke or tea, your choice.Burger is for 60 only. Best for a Sunday visit because all the markets are closed and a lot less traffic means easy parking.

The best thing about Cafe Hameed: their ingredients are fresh.Mostly, if you are having a Shami Burger in Lahore, Shami Piece wont be fresh, and sometimes, the bun will also not be fresh, but the things were fresh, yummy, and unique in taste.Prices were very economical, though the ambiance wasnt even very nice, if for a local cafe. I reckon they have a family area too.

CAFE HAMEED: THE OLD CANTEENby Sarim AzeemOctober 29, 2019The ‘Anday Wala Burger’ is the crux of cheap Lahori street food. Great responsibility falls on the shoulders of the three ingredients that make this burger what is but there is never much to talk about in terms of who is the OG anday wala burger. Where did it come from? Is the original better? Is it different? Where do we get it? The answer lies on Sanda Road, in the same lane as MAO college. Within reasonable distance of GCU, NCA, MAO College, Punjab University old campus and all their hostels lies Cafe Hameed. With it being a 5-minute walk from my grandmother’s house meant I practically grew up on their ‘burgers’.Cafe Hameed’s menu is brief but universally appreciatable: Bund-plaster, Slice-plaster, and Meethe Slice. Both the bund-plaster and slice-plaster cost PKR 60 a pop, while the meetha slice costs PKR 100, which is a steal compared to most French Toast on the market.BUND-PLASTER, SLICE-PLASTER, GET-PLASTEREDA Bun, a kebab, an egg and an awful lot of butter- all you need in this life of sin. The amount of butter might frighten you for a hot second but you need to park those thoughts and trust Julia Child when she says ‘With enough butter, anything is good’. Jokes aside though, the burger is outstanding but the real star of the show for me in the Slice-plaster. It just works better, the slice has the ability to soak in more butter than the buns and it gets crispier on the outside.Since the sandwiches are not overpowered by terrible ketchup and mayonnaise, you can appreciate the meal for what it is. The shami kebab is soft, with a bit of heat to it from the Garam Masala we have all see our moms using. The omelet is pretty straightforward as well but what sets the entire affair league ahead of other Anda-Shami is the use of actual butter they get from a dairy farm 5 minutes away. It fries the exterior to a crispy golden brown while imparting the nutty, toasted flavor to everything on the sandwich. A sprinkle of salt and pepper before the close it up rounds it off. The flavors are simple, but they’ve done very well..
