Once used to be my favourite place for Turkish food, but now lost its taste with poor managment and unprofessional staff. Went there for a dinner and ordered Iskander doner which used to be my all time favourite. After 20 minutes waiting the poorly cooked food was served, the bread (in the yogurt) was literally seems like reheated after fridge, poor quality meat (scrape) was used. My partner started feeling unwell and nausea soon after eating and we had to rush out in a hurry else I would seriously lodged a complaint! Highly not recommended anymore!
It was a nightmarish experience to say the least. Please dont get enticed by their pretty and mouthwatering menu posters and graphics. The food is below average and please never try their Khausuey and Shawarma. You will have the displeasure of the highest order. When giving it a thought, please do skip!P.S. its far from Turkish food.
Will go very soon at there
Pricey and horrible food. McDonalds is wayy better
Just heard how this restaurant was actually owned by a business lady in Turkey and she opened her branch in Dolmen Mall, Karachi in partnership with some person named Mustafa. After a while he lied to her that the restaurant was not doing well, so they will be closing it and on paper, closed it. She eventually found out they had lied to her. They are still running this restaurant under the same name and are in fact opening another location where someone named Maria who also worked for her will manage the place. It is people and filth like this that give that country a bad name and embarrass us all over the world.
Excellent food and well priced. Loved every bite
Fake branch fake recipe dont waste money
Price is too high and very less quantity; the place you are coming from offers enough to reasonably serve 2 but here one becomes victim of its last customer, so rip off. They have doubled the prices from 2017 ramadan to 2019 one.Taste is good for most items. They moved from their traditional taste to desi as earlier was not likable having not developed taste for it. Avoid clay oven pizza which is total waste with zero crust that appeared over baked. All in all will recommend to do visit one in while. Change from routine is exciting. The food court at dolmen mall clifton have ample spots with quite and tidy environment. And the court has loads of food outlets too.
Affordable Turkish food available here
I wanted to try Turkish food as i heard that turkish food is awesome but to my surprise Solen Istanbul did not fulfill my expectations. Portions are very small plus its very less in any kind of spice.
I ordered one shawarma from them. the taste was good but it was too much expensive would recommend if they decrease price a little bit.
Good food & good service
Good food and authentic Turkish taste but only the Sauces are missing...
Nice food, sometimes take too long to prepare
Doesnt taste good. No authentic taste. Over priced.Tastes blant.Waste of money .
Tasty khausey n doner beef sandwich
This Restaurent is own by legendary pop singer from 90s bunny. Pleae support our legends they entertain us at their peak time and now its our turn to give them back
So my experience with this restaurant is not quite good we have ordered Turkish khawsay and kunafe both taste very good but we found multiple hair in our both meals we have complained also and they changed our kunafe because hair were keep showing off it was not good experience at all
Had a lahmacun and it was completely tasteless. Probably the worst lahmacun I have ever had.And super slow service. Never ever going there again.
Good but not as I thought.
Nice Turkish food. Not to everyones taste however
Is Lahmacun available here?
Bought a dish with yougurt that we had tasted a few months back and had liked it. This time it was terrible. Plain rice mixed with yougurt with a sprinkling of some sauce and 8 tiny pieces ok kebab on it. All this for Rs. 750. They are ripping off with tasteless food.
Good place to experience a new taste. The dishes however do not taste like authentic Turkish food, rather a localised version of Turkish dishes.
Beef sandwich was so dry and hard.Fried were wet in oilHighly dissatisfied
Pretty good shawarma rolls. Price wise they are pretty good
Healthy, simple food....the way I like...
If you are a fan of Turkish Food then this place is for you. Quite affordable. The taste of food is also good.
Just want to know do you have turkish style motton or lamb dishes ?
Taste is very good.
Terrible quality .... Its a bad name on Turkish food
Authentic Turkish cuisine. Chicken Doner (Shawarma) highly recommended. A bit pricey though
Not good at all. The food is VERY bland and has no taste at all. Unseasoned and no creativity at all. Get something else for the money. So not worth it!
Yummy, tasty arabian food specially Shawarma
Yesterday ate whole chicken. It was good.
A unique taste on way to destruction because of spices. Turkish and Lebanese cuisine is void of spices of subcontinent, like garam masala and sadly, in order to make money, Solen has to attract the natives by offering them somewhat of what they seek - masala. Even shawarma is way different from what Solen offers in Dubai and Doha. I wish they stick to their original colors even if they have to move to a smaller shop. But they are already seeking an end to their business. I hope they remain Solen instead of Stolen.

Nothing is quite as it seems here, expect to have a playful and interactive evening. The only thing I really did not enjoy was the apple brandy at the end of the meal.
