Its a very good place to visit with family.Parking fee is 30, parking places are limited so good luck. Entrance fee is 20 per head. Its a good place for photography, alot of photographers are thre who will charge 100 and 150 per photo according to print size and if you want soft copy it will charge additional, there is a museum also which has 20 rupees as entry fee. it contains history of Pakistan and some very good and memorable things belonging yo Dr. Muhammad Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam. best time to visit is between Asar and Magrib.

Shakarparian is charming view point for tourists . I was visited 2018. The main and attractive point of Shakarparkian is artitacture of four 4 provinces views . Touristes are enjoy this place . I was also enjoyed And alot of fun with My Brother. I like it very much .

Shakarparian (Urdu: شکر پڑیاں‎; also known as Shakarparian Hills) is a hill, and a national and an amusement park located near the Zero Point Interchange in Islamabad, Pakistan. Pakistan Monument and Pakistan Monument Museum are also located in Shakarparian. The old Gakhars tribe leaders settled here before Indo-Pak partition 1947; later the clan was relocated to create a park for newly marked federal capital of the country in 1960-61.

Early morning Azadi ride with #CMI and #MTB, had a great experience with these guys. Ride start from Faisal Mosque to Shakarparian then back to Faisal Mosque, via Faisal Avenue, I8 flyover, Towards Lok Virsa, National Anthem at Shakarparian Park, Chand Tara chowk, Jinnah Convention center, Zero point, Faisal Avenue and finally Faisal Mosque. There were more then 40 participants. We saw zebras though, I have never seen before.

If you are a nature lover, you must visit this place if you happen to find yourself in Islamabad.

Its a good and peaceful place, not much crowded and has plenty to offer.

Shakarparian in Islamabad, an attractive place for the tourists in Pakistan. the princess Diana in late 90’s and prince willaim and princess Kate william in 2019 also visited there. the museum, antique structure and our all cultural history we can peruse here. its a fantastic place. one should visit there at least once.

The view from other side of capital city, with Margala hills in the background. Known for its flora and fona, a Beautiful place. Current status of the place is little less desirable, and is in need of attention in terms of maintenance and upkeep related work. Hope relevant authorities would pay attention to that.
