Fatima Jinnah Park also known as F-9 Park, is a public recreational park that occupies the whole F9 Sector . At 304 hectares (750 acres), It was designed by Michael Japero, it was inaugurated in 1992.Fatima Jinnah Parks vast acreage is mostly covered by greenery, with a few man-made structures dotting the landscape.Most of the park area is effectively a wildlife sanctuary, except for a few areas of the park that are close to residential districts. The park is bounded by a steel fence with entrance doors placed at regular intervals.A further strip of land outside of the fence is lined with a footpath. A well laid network of footpaths lies inside the park, with neat grass and a few statues.The park is known for its wildlife, and it has a good playing area with a lot of swings for kids as well.Worth visiting.

Fatima Jinnah park is located in between the 4 Sectors E,F and G occupying the one while sector space of F-9 . A well laid network of footpaths lies inside the park, with neat grass and a few statues. The park is known for its wildlife, and the question of further development there divides people in the surrounding communities, many of whom worry that development would jeopardize its untamed feel.

There are not many funny things inside but its indeed a good place to lay yourself on the lawns and see the mountains far away and the blue sky. And there is a playground for children so its very good site for families who are seeking for ground to have a walk.

I visited FJ Park last week on opening of Drive-in Cinema at Gate 4. Seeing the Covid-19 pandemic situation across the globe, It was a unique experience. One can listen to the sound from FM stereo inside the vehicle and watch the movie onto the screen without any fear of close interaction with others and 6 feet distance apart. A few points to follow may include firstly seeing the program of movies before going to watch it. Moreover download Jazz cash app and use it for buying tickets and buying the things from shops inside cinema vicinity. In this way, 50 % cash will be reimbursed to you. Also had free teas offered by the management if it is still there. Overall, it was a nice experience and my family fully enjoyed the experience.

Its a nice place to visit with family n children. Few Corners are at times flooded with young boys so u just need to know which side of the park you should be at at its a 2.25sqkm big park and carried enough space for you to take your family n have a nice picnic.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place for a walk or stroll if youre bored or just need some fresh air. Other than that, there are tennis courts and a skating area aswell as kids play area. Near the F10 entrance there is a ten pin bowling and general amusement area.

Its great to spend some time and enjoy sunny day (in winters) with lot of fun and fitness inside. Bring your kids and family you can also bring your meal and enjoy food. There is small kids section but its overcrowded on weekends. Kids/ youngsters can do cycling as well.

Fatima jinnah park is a great place to get fresh air and serene views of Margalla mountain. There are long tracks to walk and jog and grounds to play. Little bit more discipline among masses is suggested also the game facilities should be open like tennis courts etc.Abundant parking. For easy access gates.

I love to stroll around this park often. The whole F-9 Sectors covers this park. Needs to have more eateries inside it. The ambience is really good though. Bowling and Fun games for kids makes it more interesting to visit.

I personally dont like F 9 Park. As compared to Lake View Park and Ayub Park, this park is not interesting. Where Lake View Park and Ayub Park have engagements for people of every age group, this park is only suitable for jogging. Even the kids play area is closed because of COVID.

Its a nice place to visit. Jogging tracks are fantastic. But one thing I noticed that the lights were off on tracks and showers were not working. Shower and lights at night enhance the beauty at night.

With an entire sector dedicated to the park, Islamabad boasts a beautiful green haven not many cities around the world can offer.Separate jogging track and parks for kids, football ground and tennis court and a changing scenery that keeps you engaged as you walk, F9 Park is not be missed. Wish it was maintained better though. But to be honest it is in better condition than many other places in the city.A great place for photo shoots, both party and wedding and amazing scenic shots that are insta worthy.I could go on but I hope you will go and see it for yourself. Obviously a best place for poondi and dating place. Most couples go there for time pass. Some caught by police as wel. So be careful, dont try anything unethical.Further its a peaceful place to hang out. It has a big parking, washrooms, play ground, running track, and a lit of beautiful scenery.

Its a very good park but commercial interests are chipping away at it. Over the past ten years three commercial properties have cropped up in it. A certain part has been taken over by the police and a mullah has built a mosque on a portion which means that interests other than the well being of people are taking over.

Its big place to walk, one round is nearly 2km or more, in evening its parking even becomes full, hardly any place to find parking, walking tracks are many and its lybrinth of tracks for walkers both male female and famies. Then exercise area, children parks and amusement areas are additional facilities with manned by guards in entire park. Very nice place. Astray dogs are also found after sunset.

I took my son to the childrens area through the Margala Road gate. It was a terrible experience!The slides and swings were dirty, the area was not safe. There was only one swing for infants, so my son did not get a turn.There was mud everywhere, there was trash everyone and there were cricket balls flying around. It was not a safe environment for toddlers.I myself got splashed with mud and hit by a ball.On the other hand, I had my wedding pictures taken at the white monument that is at the other entrance (F10 Gate) and the pictures turned out absolutely wonderful.This area is more spacious, more clean and much prettier. There are more places to sit, have a picnic and play cricket without hitting people on the head.

Ive fallen in love with this place in last few months. I usually go early morning for exercise and watch sunrise here. It has the most serene, peaceful and scenic atmosphere from dawn to an hour after sunrise. Fragrance of flowers, chirping of birds, light breeze, sun rays peeking through thick trees.
