Crazy beautiful must visit whenever you visit Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Fresh clean water with a restaurant just above it which is suitable for families too

Loved the beauty of this place. Beautiful natural water stream, now water, deep for diving but life jacket is must for non swimmers. The place can be built and more services could be added, but life guard and professional swimmer is a must.

Initially when i went to Neela Sandh, suddenly some thoughts were passed about place being so nice and greatly managed.... And when i went downstairs, i was happy being there that theres good spot to stop for a while with family The color of water was actually green and the environment was peaceful.

Beautiful Place. Very Close to Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Natural beauty. Waterfall between mountains. Safety jackets are available for swimming. Not bad for families too.

It is a really nice place for family picnic. The waterfall and the surrounding mountains are very picturesque. However, as with all tourist places, the place is getting filthy with plastic trash left behind by the tourists. Would recommend all tourists to please take care of the trash.

Its cool picnic spot by cool I mean one can really cool off here to beat the summer heat its pure steam water. The place is one hour drive from Islamabad. Not much of a family place but if you come with family even no issue they can sit upstairs n wAtch you swim. Bring your own food or groceries with cooking arrangements. Only thing available there is chicken Karahi tea and cold drinks . Overall its a must see spot for youngsters and group friends. Bring shorts along if you want to swim. Only draw back is its a small and little conjusted place.

Very little rainwater pouring into a muddy ditch. Routine traffic flowing over the bridge just behind this non-isolated point. Good for taking a bath in summer for male only, keeping in view the social culture of Pakistan. Not good for families. Private parking fee imposed.

An amazing experience and a great place close to the nature. Our country has so many hidden treasures. Alhamdulillah. This is a small but an all encompassing picnic point. The water fall, the small water ponds on both the sides of the bridge are so peaceful and comforting. The only issue is that place need good management. There must be some proper family spots and government must develop proper parking spaces. A must go for all especially residents of twin cities. A nice good quality tea is served in very low price. There are no tickets.

Neela Sandh is a waterfall in Mouri Syedan, Rawalpindi District of Punjab the province of Pakistan. It is almost 40 kilometres (25 mi) away from Islamabad. It is surrounded by greenery, tall trees and extensive lush green mountains.It is a short height waterfall which has a clear blue water stream. Good place to beat the heat. Do not visit in rainy days because water becomes muddy.

A plane road will lead you to exact pool location . 02 pools are there usually left one is utilized by families .Proper parking and life jackets are available. Water is deep in main pool whereas left pool is shallow .

A great small place to hangout with family. Not recommended on weekends its too crowdy at that time.

A good place to visit near Islamabad. A medium size natural pool with considerably cold water. The good thing is that it takes just 45 minutes from Zero point islamabad to Neela Sand picnic point. A good place to visit in a hot summer day. Parking and Tuc shop facilities are available. The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful.

Beautiful spot which can have more facilities like a proper sitting and dining area. Plus too much trash being thrown around.

This place has added to the charm and beauty of Neela Sandh, and made ease for people who come visit here. Before this there was no picnic resort nor any hotel here. Ambiance is great, food quality and taste is also good, but variety is very limited and also prices are very high compared to other hotels. Place is nice for sitting around and relaxing.

It is beautiful and serene. One should visit it if they are upto natural inflow of water and natural beauty. Good experience overall.

The owner and the management of this picnic point is not Co operative.. They charge double for every thing with a rude behavior. I m very disappointed & decided not to visit again. Although this is a nice picnic spot.

The route from Islamabad to Neela Sandh is full of eye catching vallies. The road is almost smooth. Almost 40 min drive from zero point Islamabad. Must use life jackets for swimming because the water is deep.

A small place for heavy enjoyment for friends. Water Colour is so charming. Good place for swimmers. But no shops around. Good mountainous track towards Kashmir.

Better place in hot summer for bath and jumps in the water. Almost 15ft high waterfall and 60ft deep water so life jacket is must and available on site on rent @100rps. Located right under the main road bridge. Thanks

Neela Sandh Islamabad Pakistan is a picnic spot which is worth visiting, not only this, this is only 38 KM away from mainstream Islamabad city which is only about 55 Minutes drive.Its a good place but if you are not a swimmer better to avoid it fully as water gives no second chance... life jacket is must and you have atleast one best swimmer with you unless and until dont try at your own. If you want a little kashmir time near islamabad then you should visit this point. Last 30 min of journey is very worth watching.

Beautiful picnic spot.

No safety. Only a very little area to manuver. No quality food available . not a worth place to travel from ISB/Rwp. It took 1.5 hours to reach and disappointment awaits you. Just look good in pictures only

Its ok. The place isnt some place youd take your family with. The water was clear enough but still i guess this place will loose its touch in a year or so until and unless they add a filter system. All they provide you is a life jacket for like 100rps andthen your on your own . Better have guts to go further into the water as this is about 50ft deep in the middle. On the sides its about 6ft or so. Still with life jackets on i guess i wouldnt be much of an issue.

Its wonderful place with place to swim. Yet needs some more attention of govt in order to bring the surroundings in better shape

Beautiful place on the way from Rawalpindi towards Kotli Sattian through Lehterar Road.Its a naturally beautiful place. really awesome. the visitors must be extra careful while driving to this place since the road is not much wide. especially turning points require extra care.Swimming costumes must be a part of the travel kit of the traveller. And Camera is must.Some food should be brought while coming to this place.

Its a good tourist location but please park outside not in the resturant they charge alot.

Waters dirty and possibly, pishy.. I hope you know what I mean. Cheap and non serious guys all around, not recommended for families. They charge 100 for parking your car.But theres a very rare good thing about this place as well, they offer chilled water bottles FREE of cost. We were very thirsty on our way back and they offered chilled water bottles 1.5 Litres for FREE.

A beautiful place to visit and take an open door bath.Rates of hotel and food are very high there. So adviced to bring your own food with you.And parking chages for bike are 50 and car parking is 100 which is so much expensive.Bikes walo ko mashwara hai k parking se thora sa hat kr bike park kr lia kren paisy bach jaen gy.

Because this look like Edin , this place has it own attraction , if someone go their once then i am sure he/she want to go again and again

Wonderful place to sit in peace

Its a public place but surrounded by a Private property .... They charge for car parking as there is no other place where you can park your vehicle... In other words, Qabza Mafia....Weather of Neela Sand is similar to Islamabad but surroundings are lush green and pleasent.... I wont recommend to visit the place in weekends or holidays

Average place. Water is deep not suitable for swimming. Water ia not even clean. No such speciality to visit. Just a small shaded area where you can spend a short/miniml time. Not worth going with family. Dont fall in love by viewing pictures on internet.

This point is located on Lehtrar Road near village Dalhore, Tehsil Kahuta, District Rawalpindi. Parking is available along the restaurant on the site. Going down the gorge from that place, one finds three beautiful turquoise coloured water ponds one after the other, each located higher than the other. When water moves from one pond to the other, it creates a small water fall. The water is crystal clear and very fresh, however, during heavy rains it could be muddy for some time. In summers when it is too hot in Islamabad / Rawalpindi, Neela Sandh water pools provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy diving in cool clean flowing water.A good family picnic point located close to Islamabad.

A good picnic spot but the people are managing this spot are over charging ever thing. Parking for no reason Rs 100, food iteams are more then double in prices .. i will not visit this place again in future

A great picnic spot specially for males. There are three water pools with different levels of depths. Life-jackets are available for Rs. 100 only. (Life Jacket) I would suggest not to take risk and must wear the jacket as there is an estimated depth of 50 to 60 feet in the middle of that pool. This pool is fed with water of a spring. Parking lot, tuck shop, a small restaurant is there. Avoid taking children near the pool as there is no rescue service available by the administration. Go in the morning hours or by 1:00 pm to 5pm to enjoy at its full swing. Drop your longings at the tuck shop and be safe there.

We visited the Neela Sandh (Blue Lagoon) picnic point yesterday. A picnic spot at about 42.1 kms and a 1:10 hours’ drive from Islamabad which is not very much known around here.There is a cozy little restaurant and a hotel which has four guest rooms and can be rented for the night at Rs. 3,000. As usual the food items are a little expensive as compared to town since it is the only hotel in the area but worth visiting for an up down trip from Islamabad.What a fabulous place :)

Very beautiful natural place for picnic, swimming and camping. Very clean water of the springs. Not so cold not so warmed. Good place for diving from high bridge to in the lake. Not safe to swim in the deep waters. Batter to get the safety measures like using life jackets etc. Advise is not to drop liter of different things after picnic please. Save the nature.

A good place for diving and to relax near Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Pro-Tip: dont go in the week succeeding rainfall as the water will be carrying mud and will be brown coloured, otherwise the water is blue and clear
