Its more than a children park.Actually it is a Children training and exercise park.There is a really good sight seeing.You can look over while Islamabad (the Capital of Pakistan).One must go with kids if you are in Islamabad.You can have barbq there and even celebrate your kids birthdays with full fun.There is a jog track also to loose fat while kids are enjoying swings and slides.

Situated on Margalla hills this is the place to go with friends and family. Great place to have fun and be close to nature while enjoying the scenic beauty of Islamabad. You can come here by road as well as by hiking trails and you sure dont want to miss the experience of hiking and enjoy beautiful views along the way. It is a cheap place to go and have fun. There are rides for kids and some snack spots too. You can take good pictures here and has good weather too. You can always go to monal from here as it is really close and offers a premium restaurant experience and even more beautiful views.Overall it is cheap, fun and a beautiful place to visit if you visit Islamabad.You should go here before the sun sets and should enjoy the beautiful sunset here. But should return before 11pm as it gets really dark there. Has a wheelchair accessible entrance and is itself wheelchair accessible. You should eat the pan that is available here as it is a really old and famous pan shop and many big personalities and political figures have tried pan of this place. Should try the sweet pan. Last time I checked it was 90 PKR. So yeah its cheap, fun and definitely an enjoyable and beautiful place where you can take a lot of pictures too.The only downside is that it is a difficult drive there but if you are used to driving in mountains than it is not that difficult drive and actually is an enjoyable one and if you cant drive there than any taxi or cab driver can take you there easily.

This is alot of fun for children specially monkeys did a lot of enjoyable activities. Play area for children is most attractive... its walk track is also fine ..

A picnic spot and lookout in the Margalla Hills. Its a good family point, there are also things for children to play with. Daman-e-Koh has a whole view of Islamabad. Its a splendid spot to get a sense of the citys layout, with the Shah Faisal Mosque a real breathtaking sight.

Nice place to have some moments of peace but dont go there on Saturday and Sundays , be aware of monkeys and do not eat something while passing by them they will suddenly attack and snatch whatever they will find eatables.They are roam there in the group of 20 to 30 monkeys at a time !Keep enjoying.

Good place with really twisty turns. People with heart issues must sit with black knot tied across their eyes as youre always driving on two way road with not enough barriers on the edges

Definitely a great place to visit and spend a whole morning with family and friends. Its a little bit chilly in October but that what makes it great for some fun nature hike. Eventhough, the shops, restaurants were close and there was almost no people around because of COVID19 and the place looks eerie or haunted but it was still a whole lot of fun.The drive going up was exhilarating. A two way small meandering road going up the Margalla hills made my blood pressure rise up specially during sharp turns. Theres a 30-35km rule in place but it just made me want to floor the pedal. It was just an exciting ride up and drive down.Then the views of the place during the trekk was just astonishing. You could just see how green Islamabad is with all the trees even under a gray chilly sky. The downside is...people need to learn to throw their garbage in the bin. There was just litter almost everywhere. We got to do our part if we wish to continue to appreciate nature.

Seeing this place made my trip to Islamabad well worth it. Taking a walk in this park has a way of connecting you with nature better than the hills of Murree do. For instance, nowhere else have I seen so many monkeys walking around in a public place.But the real jaw-dropper is the view of the whole city of Islamabad. And I do mean the whole city. You can see the Faisal Mosque, Centaurus, all the major government buildings such as The Supreme Court, The Parliament, etc. Standing on the edge of Daman-e-Koh, you can see as far as the dark, still waters of the Rawal Lake.If youre ever in the area, you must visit this beautiful place nestled in the majestic Margalla Hills and experience the beauty of Islamabad.

I hicked from margala hills trail#2 to Daman-e-Koh view point and it was worth it..view was good..some problems i faced was like, there were no garbage cans in the view point area.

Daman e Koh is one amongst many attractions in the Margalla hills. It is a part of Margalla Hills National Park. Margalla hills are the foothills that border the northern side of Islamabad Capital Territory. These are the part of the Lesser Himalayas. The park itself has an area in excess of some 26000 hactares. The highest summit is about 1605 metres above sea level. These form a natural barrier which is responsible for the unique weather and climate of the Twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Daman e Koh with its numerous well selected view points at different elevations offer great view of the sprawling city of Islamabad and to some extent Rawalpindi which lies farther south. The whole area is very popular among the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi who throng the place all around the year. Youth favour coming here on motorcycles. There are a number of hiking trails here and fitness fans frequent these regularly. It is advised that on must stay one the original trail for there are great chance for straying and getting lost. Among the wildlife Rhesus monkey or Maqaques are most numerous. One can come across wild boars as well. The Margalla leopard is also seen here occasionally but mostly in the winter when it gets colder in the higher reaches.
