The station is situated on central railway. It is after Byculla If you travel from CST.It is very old Historical station. It is said that it is established in 1877.Construction for Monorail also going on very nearby. One can get trains for CST ,Karjat,Thane,Kalyan,Titwala,Dombivil. But all the trains are slow only. This station has very importance during Ganesh puja as devotees have to get down here only for darshan of Mumbai famous Lal baghcha Raja.Station is well maintained but toilet needs more attention. The only drawback of this station is no halt for fast trains.
Good connectivity, known for Lalbaug Cha Raja Popular Ganpati in Mumbai.
Small and famous station.
Mono rail station is at a walkable distance from the station.
Chinchpokli is a railway station on the Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. The Chinchpokli Railway station was opened in 1877. In 1896, during the Bombay plague epidemic, the Chinchpokli Station was converted into medical transit place. Historical British era spellings include Chinchpugli and Chinchpooghly. There is an old Jewish Cemetery built by Elias David Sassoon in 1878 which lies parallel to the railway tracks. The Road bridge over the railway track, known as Arthur Bridge was built in 1915. Kasturba Hospital run by Municipal Corporation is located in Chinchpokli West. Opposite to this hospital lies the Mumbai Central Prison, also referred to as Arthur Road Jail. It was built in 1926. Ticket counter is located on the bridge. Easy connectivity outside the railway station. One of the Maintained station in Mumbai. Not so much crowd is present over here. PF1 is for Kalyan and PF 2 for CST. this station is between Byculla and Curry Road.
You can get direct train for CST and for Thane, Karjat but you will get only slow trains not fast train.
Like every station there is a government toilet setup outside. Ticket counter is located on the bridge. Easy connectivity outside the railway station. Mono rail station is at a walkable distance from the station.

Famous during ganesh festival.. Chinchpoklicha chintamani... Peaceful place...
It’s a decent railway station on the Central Railway
Well maintained station. People in charge try their best to keep the premises clean. But hats off to some of us, who mess with paintings and slogans. Few of us feel proud to spit paan, mawa, gutkha on those art work. On holidays sometime the ATVM machine is not available. So you need to enter from the other side to avoid travelling without ticket
Peaceful place.. well connected to Lalbuag, mumbai central, lower parel
Not much crowded as compared to other railway station. Only slow locals halts
Good facility of railway. Near to Lalbagh cha Raja.

Crowded only on ganpati, navratri and such major festivals. Cleanliness is well-maintained ,the tickey counter at north is usefull, dont waste your time for southern ticket counter because its mostly close.

Central Railway station connect Lalbaug, Mahalakshmi, sat4asta, lower parel.
Railway station between Byculla and Currey Road on the Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway.
Very nice platform
The FOB at CST end is very narrow due to which there are chances of stampede during peak hours as that of happened in Elphinstone. Also ticket counter is open till afternoon which is a headache for commuters.
