Its unusual to see a specifically chinese restaurant at place like Barkat market.Ordered a prawn mushroom soup soup.It was quite economical. Enough for 5 to 6 persons. Environment was not much comfortable even though ambiance was 6/10.There werent any mushrooms in the soup. It was very thick and cringy. Too much spicy. Not any peculiar or trademark taste.Overall 4/10

If you visit Mei Kong than do try their Mei Kong special fish steak, its the best thing in their steak menu

Wonderful place, warm and welcoming staff.. Chicken corn soup and B19 are their specialities, we always love to have both soups there... Never forget to take misri and sounf from the counter while leaving the place..

Mei Koung is located at barkat market lahore and famous for chinese as well as continental foods.It has variation in platters in good combinations of foods.One platter is very famous having a bowl of rice,four pieces of mutton champ,four pieces of fried fish,four pieces of chicken tikka and four pieces of malai bouti cost 1600 apprx.soups are also delicious of Mei Koung.

Just they charged very high for drinks even a small mineral water bottle costs 75 rupees whos market price is 20 rupees only. Overall it will be a good experience to have food from there. Ambiance and food are ok but my recent experience was very bad. I arranged a dinner for ten persons and ordered Chinese cuisine. The food was good and service was up to mark. No grievances about that. I ordered after thorough consultation with the order taker regarding the quantity of dishes and even reduced some items from his suggestion. When the food arrived, I was so angered to see that it was way too too much for ten persons. It was double the quantity that was actually required. To make things worse, when I complained, he totally refused to admit that he had made me order that much and showed pathetic attitude. More than half of the food was left untouched which we had to get packed. If you ever visit this restaurant, dont trust the staff and order very carefully otherwise they would make you order in excess just to charge higher bills.
