I recommend all the people to visit this awesome restaurant. It is basically a Chinese restaurant with almost all of the Chinese food and soups verity and all of the dishes are delicious too. Prices are a bit higher but they also give you a outstanding response an awesome dine-in place where you can enjoy your food with your loved ones. A very beautifully decorated hall for sitting. Reservation can also be done here but i my visits to this restaurant i got reliable places without any reservations. So reservation are recommend for the days of our festivals.

Due to covid, it had to be a take away. I have been dining in this restaurant few years back and then, it was reasonable. We ordered prawns in garlic and szechuan chicken along with vegetable fried rice. These are pretty much standard Chinese dishes that most Chinese restaurants cook well. However, this was one of the poorest Chinese meals that we had in years. Szechuan Chicken was average but Prawns in galrlic were horrible. We could hardly finish our food. Too much corn flour and a taste that was anything but Chinese

Lovely restaurant. Food was very tasty and service was good. Portion sizes were absolutely huge, I only wish theyd told us the dishes were sharing sizes!We ordered 4 mains for 4 people which was way too much.The Prawn toast starter is honestly the best prawn toast Ive ever tasted anywhere in the world.Highly recommend this restaurant if you want Chinese and are in the Fortress area.

Probably the oldest Chinese restaurant in Lahore. Mainly for its variety of delicious soups especially the hot n sour one.Though they master all Chinese dishes and the culinary skills are impeccable, they’ve been overshadowed by other Chinese restaurants in the city with much better ambiance, taste and range.Despite all it’s one must go restaurant in the fortress stadium market. It’s peaceful environment let one enjoy with friends and family alike.

The overall experience was great. I will recommend this place for sure.The only thing which bothered me was the serving portion because I asked for the serving and they lied about that. Make sure you go with your own decision. Also, there is more waiting time than expected for the food.

Great chinese taste in the town

Mei Kong is one of the oldest Chinese places in the city. It offers Chinese cuisine with a local flavour touch to it. There are many new places in Lahore, but Mei Kong is still as popular as it has always been. On weekends, it is difficult to find a table or have to wait long.

Most pathetic experience. It is nt even Chinese, it is so bad that i can rank it as worst food i ever ate. Regret spending 6.5k on such food.

The menu was not authentic Chinese, very confusing menu. Flour batter salmon fish and home cut fries? The atmosphere was not relaxing, did not feel calm or comfortable sitting in the restaurant it was very noisy. They should a separate family seating area for families with children. The staff was not attentive, we had to request spoons for our soup we ordered as they had only provided us with a knife and fork. Disappointing experience.

It was certainly a nice experience, but nothing exceptional. The 19 B soup seemed a bit bland, and the Manchurian wasnt up to the mark as well. On the other hand the Chicken with Almonds was fantastic and went well with the rice. On the whole there were more positives: the quantity was healthy, the food and environment seemed clean and fresh. Although the place was overcrowded as too many tables have been stacked together, the crowd was still managed professionally and the order time was also impressive. I would it a 3.5 out of 5.

Mei-Kong special soup is the best soup ever. But we need to first develop the taste for that. Overall 4 star ratings for this place. Staff is well trained and polite. Place is good for both lunch and dinner.Quiet place with cool environment.

Means you have to order something else with soup... We order vegetable soup along with dacca fish... Surprisingly, the soup was simply boiled few tiny pieces vegetable hahahaha

One of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Lahore, Meikong serves Chinese cuisine flavored to suit the local desi taste palette. The food quality isnt exactly great - used to be much better. Management is in a perpetual panic mode. Very rushy; Too many people! But offers a cheap Chinese option served in the true style of the 90s!

Fried chicken was fried in the oil being used to fry sea food. My children didnt eat fried chicken dish due to that. So I suggest to keep frying pot for chicken and sea food.

Best Soup and rice

Well Ive heard much about the taste of this restaurant and when I tasted, it fulfilled my expectations...ambiance was spacious and staff is cooperative and service was quick even though there was quite hustle bustle in the restaurant.

Loved the Thai soup, which was our starters. Then opted for the Mei Kong Chefs Special Fish amd Chicken Chilli along with fried rice. The fish was Amazing, in flavour, taste and texture. Soft, flaky and moist fish encrusted in a smooth, yet crispy batter that soaked well in the gravy sauce.The chicken chilli was good with just the right levels of spiciness in the chillies. And both were well complemented with the fried rice.

The taste is gud.....the dishes are gud.But the hygiene and ambiance is.....questionable.U have to literally call the waiters to get the area and floor around ur table cleaned.And they have no wifi....the excuse....our waiters keep using the net...Lame excuse....just dnt give them the damn password....simple enough.

Ordered starters but team served main course 1st. Taste wise food was good. But strange we ordered chicken Manchurian but they served us chicken sizzlers. Service was ok. But can be better as charges for food is higher than moderate. Ambience was good. Overall would recommend for occasional dining only. But wont be for regular dining place.

Really bad food NGL, pineapple chicken? AN ABOMINATION. The chairs were really uncomfortable too and food was wack. If you dont want to get disappointed then just ditch this place its bad.

Delicious soup that was quite large. fried chicken was really nice. The rice was excellent. The garlic prawns were not bad but the fish was a little too spicy. Overall, it cost is about 1300 per person and was a very good experience.
