Their food is very clean and healthy, just like home cooked. Fried fish, brain masala, daals & mix vegetables is a must try.

I have been enjoying their food since the last 25+ years. They are in the league of their own and cant be compared with any other eatery. The menu, the taste, the cleanliness, the heritage and class is outstanding. Today I had my favourite items on their menu after probably 6 years or so and the taste and quality is still the same as I remember since I was a little kid. My favourites are their prawns, qeema, chicken fry, mutton fry, chicken steam roast, fish, daal, matar pulao and chapati. Everything is outclass!

I used to visit this Cafe in 80s & 90s when this place was especially frequented by the Sindhi Officers of Sindh Secretariat & Tughlaq House as the Owner of this Joint was a Sindhi Hindu but his Cooks were Muslim . Daal , Okra , Biryani & fried fish ( Pomphrate & Palla or Hilsa ) are the spacialities of this Cafe . Everyday , In the morning I used to see the Owner of this Cafe holding a basket made up of date leaves buying fresh veggies , chicken meat & fish from the shops of main Commercial Area off Tariq Road as my house was also situated there in Block - 2 , PECHS . I used to go to this Cafe with Prof Kausar Bashir Ahmad - Chairman of DAP, DCET , Karachi & Prof Muhammad Amin Shaikh & found it to be of a prestigious place & its food being of high quality & courteous waiters but now its standard has gone down .
