At first, I use to avoid Chinese meal, because all the so-called Chinese restaurants use to have same old distaste food. But, Cocochan! changed my view regarding Chinese dishes. The food here is scrumptious with excellent presentation. The ambience here is executive level and all in reasonable rate. You must try ‘Dry chicken with green chillies’, if you are fond of eating spicy diet, then don’t forget to eat their ‘chowmein stir fried with assorted vegetables noodles’. You will love the food. It’s worth spending here.

They give quality that too in a very reasonable price. The ambience is cool.In 1500 Rs two person can easily get a starter a main course and drinks.My favorite place to go. Its a proper family restaurant.

If youre not a huge fan of Chinese or similar cuisines, Cocochan can probably swing your mood around.Cocochans menu is a mix of Thai, Pan-Asian, and Chinese cuisine with an excellent lineup of desserts as well. Although theyre a bit pricey, but the first bite just makes you forget it all. Dry Beef Chilli was my personal favourite!Talk of ambiance - the Tipu Sultan franchise is breathtakingly beautiful. Spacious, comfortable, and well-lit which makes the entire experience worthwhile.10/10! Must visit whether or not youre a fan of the cuisines offered.

One of the few restaurants in that locality where you can get sushi . I dont like there sofa sitting arrangements as they quite low feels like your chin is touching the tables secondly while eating either you sit on the edge of sofa or you lean on to table. The food is good the waiters are helpful and service is good. The ambiance is ok as it doesnt excite you . Overall you go there to enjoy food only.

Cocochan is one of those places on Tipu Sultan that looks pretty slick and has an extremely nice ambiance that stands out. However, while the variety of food is diverse (from sushi to all forms of oriental) the overall quality of food is extremely inconsistent on every visit. Today the dry chicken chill was extremely good. Even California Maki was good. Needs to be more consistent with its quality. Finally its not thay heavy on the pocket and with discounts on credit cards pretty manageable.

This was my second visit today with my family. Cocochan serves Chinese food. I love the ambiance and customer service. The taste of their food is 5/5 and the serving is enough. Moreover they offer complimentary rice. You may find this place a little costly but it is recommended to visit once atleast.

Just the high name with extra expensive food but worst staff support and guide. You expect these expensive restaurant to guide you with the food and menu, but had a really disappointing experience from this place.

The food and ambiance were really good. Perfect to have a good meal with your favourite company. They can do with an addition of some desserts though.

Delicious food along with friendly staff and amazing sushi

Ill start with the good things since Ive rated 4 stars. The servers were very well-mannered, polite and always smiling whenever you talk to them about anything. Sheer professionalism they showed. Ambiance was extremely comfy and I honestly felt relaxed. Interior looked cool and glamorous. I tried Pad Thai Spaghetti which I didnt like that much as I expected. Ive been to Malaysia and I have experienced the taste several times there. It lacked the originality for some reason. Rates were biiiit high, but bit only which can be neglected for such ambiance. Overall, not a bad place at all. Would love to go back and try some other dishes, might change those 4-stars to 5. You might not like many dishes if you are not so much into Thai, Seafood or Mandarin. But do give a try, your tastebuds may surprise you. Go for anniversaries or corporate dinners. Will put a good impression.

No longer authentic tasting. Sushi is bad. Fish used not fresh, meat was dry. Other Chinese dishes have become too Pakistani in taste with ambitious use of spices making them more qorma than black pepper beaf.

Couldnt have had any better. Food, ambiance and service are all above good level. Pricing is slightly on the higher side. If you want to have original Chinese food , this is the place to go.

Authentic Pan Asian Experience!Nothing, nothing is below average here. I love dining at cocochan. The ambiance of the place is good, the TIPU Sultan branch is spacious too. The staff is friendly and helpful. Must visit to tickle your taste buds with vibrant, fresh and delicious food.I have only been to Cocochan Tipu Sultan branch never tried Dolmen Mall Branch.

Valet parking is available with easy approach , its a Brilliant Place, Staff is Very Cooperative and helpful. Ambiance is good but the furniture is little aging. Food is tasty specially Tom Yong Noddle Soup is one of my favorite. Prices are on higher side compared to serving. Over all its a great experience.

Liked the Ambience and the service everything is neat and clean. The quality of food was 5 stars. We hav prawns fish and chicken along with wontons and soup. The wontons were a bit of a disappointment but still nobodys perfect. Cashew chicken is a big yes for everyone who is a choosy eater. And end it with a lemon cheese cake.

We ordered coconut soup with mushroom and chicken (5/5) wok fried vegetable (4/5), chicken with cashew nuts (4/5) and sushi platter (3/5). The service was pathetic, with drinks (4/5) coming after we had finished eating (though they compensated with dessert on the house (cheese cake 4/5) . Food was served cold and sushi was not fresh. The lunch resulted in food poisoning and we are not impressed. With the price of food vs our experience, probably we will not visit again.

Recently visited the much hyped CocoChan Pan Asian Restaurant @ Tipu Sultan. The interior is divided in two portions; the comfy yet formal arrangement for larger groups, and the casual, table and chair arrangement, for small groups. The former has a dark feel to it, while the latter is bright and cozy.1- Assorted Nigiri Platter – 7 pieces of sushi; prawn, salmon, crab, tuna. 1160/-2- Norwegian Salmon Sashimi – maybe an acquired taste, but it was not our cup of tea. 760/-3- Chicken in sizzling Garlic Sauce – a mild flavored sauce with tender pieces of chicken. Good, but the other dishes easily overpowered this one. 795/-4- A Red Curry Chicken – had a similar taste to butter chicken (to better explain in desi terms :P), but the chilies in the curry added the much needed punch. 895/-5- Crispy Fish in Sweet and Sour Sauce – easily the favorite, the crispy fish, the sauce everything was hands down the best. 920/-All the curries were served with rice; jasmine or egg fried rice, which was served unlimited times, on the house.6- Dynamite Prawns – served differently from the conventional style, they too were amazing. The batter, the sauce, everything were absolutely the best. 710/-The food served was a delight, and the staff was very friendly which turned this into an even better experience. A special mention is necessary. This place is highly recommended.

Amaaaazing experience. The best asian cuisine I’ve had in Karachi; each dish was unique in flavor and not that basic, bland taste that I have found so common in many of the “upper end” restaurants here. Deff recommend and will deff be back.

One of my friend planned hours birthday dinner at cocochan, and I must say it turned out to be spectacular. The staff was courteous and guided us through the menu pretty well. Even though we stuck to comfort food, ordered Thai chicken , pepper chicken,wok fried prawns, chowmein and manchurian, each dish tasted top noch, served with decent quantity, definitely a plus for value of money. To add further the ambience was equally amazing as well. Highly recommend!!

Had a ramadan buffet a Chinese buffet, very good taste and environment, the interior is very beautiful and relaxing, food taste was delicious but the should had sushi and more sea food menu in buffet its was about 1100 with tax each person

This place quite possibly has the best ambiance in Karachi!Items tried:- Tom Yum Soup: excellent. I loved how they filtered all the ‘non edibles’ so you can enjoy your soup in peace.- Crispy Wasabi Prawns: nice, nothing very different from what you get at other places.- Prawn Dimplings: this was just ok.- Beef Teppanyaki: we were at the ‘teppanyaki’ counter so really enjoyed seeing getting this made live. However the taste was just ok. My significant other added salt and it became much better however I think the restaurant needs to get their ingredients right.- Pomegranate juice: this was actually very fresh and enjoyable.While the food was great but nothing overwhelming, we have tried like 5% of the menu so this definitely warrants multiple visits. The fact that the ambiance is top notch provides another reason to go again. Hope credit card providers come up with discounts with this restaurant as it is not cheap!

Had a lunch there with my friend as she recommended this place. The ambience was great. Food taste and quality was also great. We tried their seafood and chicken red curry, was awesome. The service was ok was not highly impressive. The quantity of food was a little down as compared with the price. Overall its a great place for dine in.

I liked this place a lot. After continuously eating oil-laden meat love affairs--read fried this and that, and curry dishes, biryani, etc.--for a week during the marriage season at the end of the year, this restaurant was a Godsend. The ambience is gorgeous and as good as it can get, with desirable spacing between customers and these comfy love seats for seating. It was fabulous! (Why cannot the restaurants serving homegrown cuisine be like this?) We picked one (chinese) dish each from beef, poultry, and seafood as well as fried rice on recommendation. On my request, I was also provided with chopsticks. We also ordered a few eclectic smoothies (see picture). May be, I was feeling it to my nose with the traditional cuisine until that point, but I loved the Chinese food and ate to my fill in a long time. Id go here again. Note: this is a busy place. Go early on weekends, say by 7 PM, to avoid the wait. Also, it purports to supply both Manadarin and Thai dishes. I did not taste the later.
