Writing a review after long time. I visited this place on 25 Dec evening with family. We got a table for four.1. After serving the menu card no one bothered coming back n asking for order. Although there were multiple waiters present around. Until I have to approach the manager to send someone to take order.2. Body language of manager was as nothing has happened.3. Food served was cold. Taste was below average. Kids left most of the food without consumption.4. The only good item was matka chai.5. Overall a worse experience.6. Not a good value for money.7. Will never visit again, neither will recommend anyone.

Gorgeous rooftop and good matka chai. However, the terrible service and rude staff ruined our experience. Our waiter was extremely rude.Boardgames are not allowed. Card payment is not accepted. Also, the place is quite congested and sofas are placed back to back so there was barely 1 foot distance between us and those sitting behind, in complete violation of COVID SOPs.

Very well place with good atmosphere you can enjoy the nights with your loved ones live music good management but food taste was ok there will be a room for improvement but overall i rate it five because of the environment

The Makta tea was wonderful, had a onion basket with sause in an open outside sitting at roof top with Live music. Amazing place for the outdoor lover. The ambiance is good overall all, and the staff is all welcoming. The current climate of bit cold outside on roof top had double the joy ! Recommended.

There rooftop environment is great but this place is too expensive and not for middle class..But 3 stars for this snacks that i experienced in last monsoon when i was stucked outside koyla chai with family and waiting for rain ending. So we ordered this platter for time pass and shockingly it was good enough for time pass and enjoyment..

U have to wait a little as often the tables are full...So i recommend going early like atleast 8pm.... Plus order takes a little time so u should not be in a hurry while visiting the place... Music is awesome... Thumbs up for the singer.

Very rude and uncooperative staff , food was flat without spices, so so taste. Ambiance was pathetic, music was too loud to have a decent dinner with chit chat.. service was very slow. Rooftop stairs were not convenient for all.I gave them 1 star only because of elevation of space otherwise they dont deserve any star.

Koila chai was pioneer of bringing matka chai with koila aroma in karachi. The chai is strong. The restaurant is at top floor of a bunglow. The last stairs to it are very dangerously built. However the ambiance is very good. I tried their matka kulfi also it made me think of my childhood memories when matka kulfi was very famous. They have Karaoke nights also calls some singer for live performance.

Environment is good but a little bit conjusted. Food is not very good in taste. Just satisfactory. Moreover service is not good.dining tables are very small in size

Koyla Chai is located in ziauddin hospital road. It is located next to Shell petrol pump. The place looks pretty at bight with all the bright pink lights and is quite different from the rest of the restaurants as far as the enterance is concerned.The place itself is nice and you ascend to the rooftop where you can unwind after days work and spend time with friends.The food is however so-so and bill is on the expensive side. Pathetic place, nan were not served until all other people finished their meals, no one asked for drinks in between whole meal, i ordered Japanese long fries wprth 700 rupees, that was more pathetic than 20 rupees thele wala fries. It was served cold and taste was foam. On complaining the waiter, he sent manager and manager was saying that why you ordered it, we will charge you so Overall it was Pathetic experience.

Very good setup and awesome taste of all Chai type Items like chai and paratha.

I have changed the rating after the recent visit, the service is getting very slow, served the food which was not cooked properly later after complaint they fixed it.

One of the best places Ive ever been. Tea was fantastic and up to the mark food, ambiance and everything was excellent. Enjoyed live musical night as well. However singer was singing romantic songs and I am darn single so that was rude and not ok plus taxes were a bit much.

Koyla Chai is very owsum place especially if you are sitting on rooftop. The best time is to go before sunset and witness the beauty. The ambiance and lights are well arranged. The prices are also affordable. The taste of Matka Chai was very nice.
