The presidential suite was huge and very well decorated. The executive lounge was comfy. I enjoyed my stay very much

The management is following all covid related SOPs and all indoor dine in restaurants are closed and either one gets served inside the room or open space just in front of entrance with limited menu. The only that bothered me was, there flies and mosquitos as well. The place needs to fumigated.

Its not really a five star place.. their infrastructure is quite dated and the facilities are barely adequate. The fact that no new hotels are coming up makes them get away with it.. Not worth the money, but there are hardly any choices..

One of the best 5 star hotels in Pakistan, unfortunately Pakistan in general & Karachi in particular have been a target of terrorism & bad press therefore these once majestic hotels couldnt deliver & expand. Karachi Marriott will see better days ahead ... inshaAllah

Centrally Located Hotel in the CityMarriott is located in a great central location of the city. It is very easy to navigate the city. Very secure and safe. The customer service is nice. the rooms are very clean, the pool is well maintained. The Chinese restaurant is amazing. Nadia coffee house is where you will see lots of activity in the evening.

This beautiful colonial times structure is at intersection when we cross Clifton bridge and moving towards sadar.You will see it at main signal having Marriott at left at a little distance from this beauty.Hope the relevant authorities can renovate & preserve this heritage. The heart cries seeing it getting decay with time.

The outside setup so much that we kept sitting there because of the pleasant weather. Steaks and Mandi could have been adjusted to be at a warmer setting

Not a suitable place for large parties because of lack of parking space and poor valet service. Untrained guards and security staff make thing worse.. Complain to duty manager and he prefers answering his phone rather letting you complete the conversation.. Once a good hotel now feels like a standard 2*.

One of my worst ever experiences checking In to Marriott Karachi. The service was very poor, the average wait time for a service request took more than an hour. I had to call multiple times for an update and each time they mentioned, its on the way sir I guess they might be delivering from another city or something. Very unprofessional and must be degraded to 1 or 2 star hotel. Also, the rooms are in a depleted condition must require renovation. Advice: Dont go there use an alternative please.

I have been to Marriott quite a few times . Each time Im impressed with their management, decor, cleanliness, and the overall elegance of the place. The staff is super respectful which is very important to make you feel welcome. This time I went for iftar. I loved the prayer arrangements especially for the ladies.However, one thing has consistently disappointed me. Thats the food. No matter what type of cuisine is being served, it is extremely bland and theres nothing special about it that might indicate it being from a 5 star hotel. Apart from that, I would highly recommend the place.

The hotel is simply fantastic. Security is tight, of course, so theres nothing to be scared of.The rooms are simply luxurious, food is great. The evening music is richly traditional (really wanted to take a video of the musicians...niceee).All in all, a good experience.

Standard of Marriott has fallen below the average!As much as we were hoping our event will go smooth and hassle free , it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Our event was a Baraat Function on 25th November 2020 and we had strictly mentioned on our invite that Punctuality is a must . But naturally the guests specially the Groom’s family had elderly coming from Hyderabad city and it takes time to move . Their management not only started threatening us at 8:00 pm that they would end the event at 9:00 pm sharp despite the fact that Groom , His family and our respected guests had not arrived , the management misbehaved with us , our guests . They did not serve our guests well and turned off the lights causing so much distress. The food served was cold and at some tables they did not serve the food at all . Some tables had missing food and guests who asked for seating were refused and replied with a very cold manner ! Their event manager charged 4 lacs for decoration and an additional 35,000 for SMD which they did not let us utilise ! Their staff is highly unprofessional and ill mannered ! They do not know how to talk to women. All in all it was the worst experience of our life . This is an advice to all those who are planning to do wedding at a hotel . Do not chose Marriott Karachi ! Waste of money !

A well located and well maintained hotel with ambient atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and clean. Complementary breakfast is excellent. A good place for holding meetings and functions.

One of the most pathetic experience. We reached hotel at around 1:30 am and checked in our room. The room was extremely dirty. There are hairs in the bathroom and carpet was not vaccum at all. So we called duty manager named Owais and complained about it. The duty manager became really hyper and started insulting my husband. He started swearing and also pushed him. I have taken pics and videos of room and then duty manager asked us to process our check out and leave the hotel. The duty manager was highly unprofessional and aweful person.

Nice dinner at Nadia restaurant...Ordered the Arabic grill platter and fish and chips. The hotel was nice and clean but mostly looked empty around 7:30.

Loved the grandeur of the poolside with the marquee to give a warm cozy set up. While food was still served outside near the pool. With a live pasta station, it was a nice evening with enough seating for 500-700 guests. The chilly weather made it more pleasant, while the floral decor made it classy.

It is always so wonderful to eat in Nadia In Marriot Karachi. Though they don’t have too much variety in there buffet but I always feel safe eating here. I have never suffered any Gastrointestinal problem after eating here. Its ambiance is beautiful and service is also very good.

There aren’t other 5 star properties in Karachi. This is the best you can get. For several years I have only been staying here. There is no much difference between the executive rooms and normal rooms except for the amenities. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you plan to visit Karachi this is the hotel you need to stay at.

Our trip was perfect as the hotel is well maintained and ambiance is great. Staff made the difference. I would like to point out the doormen who always greeted us with a smile. Also the night staff. Manager Mr. Junaid and bellman Mr. Tariq went above and beyond at late hours to ensure we had everything we needed. This type of service with a smile and enthusiasm lacks in many establishments. Guys watch it , The cleaning guy stole my wallet from the luggage , he was the only guy we allowed to enter the room in our absence - hotel manager was avoiding the interrogation and kept asking us to check the room when the wallet was inside the luggage all the time we never took the wallet with us because it was heavy due to credit cards and stuff so we kept only one credit card and Cash in pocket and left wallet in the luggage .Marriot hotel staff was absolutely doging the responsibility when it was obvious that the cleaning old man was the alone cleaning the room.Be careful

Pathetic Dry cleaning service! Charged me 1762 for 4 items and I still get my clothes stained and dirty! My area’s local dhobi is actually better than Marriott’s. With time I have realized I should stopped using this service! I am amazed how my brand new shirt got spoiled after I received it from dry cleaning service! Management, please look into this matter and I should be contacted by one of the managements. I also attended a wedding ceremony there in the crystal ballroom. The venue had a really good ambiance. The decor was classic and chic at the same time. However few things were noticed that should be improved. First of all some seat covers had stains on them which didnt go well with the marriott name. The buffet area is seperate and gets too crowded specially due to the small buffet tables. Other than that it was a pleasing experience. The lobby, though small, has beautiful chandeliers which give it a classy and upper class look. Overall I enjoyed it.

Good for board meetings. Their Chinese restaurant is good but Nadia(Pakistani cuisine) is very pathetic. Accomodation is also good. Overall it ok but need to upgrade its structure and facilities.

Ah... Due to Covid, the hotel is closed.But maintenance and renovation seems to be going on, keeping fingers crossed.Hopefully the hotel will be operation soon as Govt has indicated to ease the lockdown.

2018Checking in can be a bit of a challenge as the front desk is always busy. Place gets busy on weekend as some make the hotel a holiday place. Some upgrades in hotel room like lcd TV and USB charger. Managed to get a non-smoking floor, and the room upgraded. Will write more at end of trip.2017Safe hotel and very good services. I would choose this in my next trip again.2016My last visit to Karachi was 1 year ago and I am back to this same hotel again. My second time here and I noticed that the Deluxe room (cheaper rooms) are smoking rooms and the floor I was assigned has heavy second hand smoke smell at the walkway. But the room is alright (less smell).Thumbs up from room and amenities cleanliness perspective and the safety factor is superb.
