There is not entrance old dam not a place for families coz there is no place to sit they idk made a guest house or what but no place for sitting or seeing the water or new technology

The entrance is very bad.The dam is polluted and you clearly saw wrappers from dam spilway.the view is quite good but not that good.Old dam so you saw old concept of dam.the technology is also old. NOT A PLACE FOR FAMILILIES AND COUPLES .

Spillways of Rawal Dam have been opened on Thursday as the water level has increased after the heavy rain in twin cities.According to Rawal Dam administration, the gates of the spillways were opened after the rain caused the water level to rise. They said that the gates of the spillways will remain open for few hours.

After excess rain the gates of dam are open to let the excess water out and the view is brethraking, its amzingly spectacular .

It is used sparingly to discharge excess water.
