The French Club 21 is just for foreign members who can bring in Pakistani guests with them too. As, its in diplomatic enclave so tight security prevails hence, its quite safe for foreigners to come here to avail different facilities providing by the Club. (Some foreigners describe diplomatic area as a jail because it is cut off from rest of Islamabad due to tight security steps taken by Govt since Sep 11, 2001 due to the sensitivity of area). Anyway, as something is better than nothing so, atleast this Club is able to give some dependable option for liesure activities & dining experience to its members hence, its doing a good business due to good management & efficient staff. Bar is main attraction here where branded drinks are served. Place is neat & clean. Most of the food dishes are delicious.

2018 update: I believe they were shut downWent here as a guest of a member for a 80s dance party. The place is compact with a pool, bar and restaurant. Quite a diverse group of people were there in terms of nationality and age.

If you are looking for some time to relax? this is a good place to be.

Restricted for foreigners only. However as their guest can go their. However lot many better and such secured places outside as well to be enjoyed too.

Best place to hang out in our diplomatic jail;). Good food. Business lunches scheme from Monday to Friday (850rs for salad, main course and dessert). Friendly staff. Good outdoor area. Any kind of hard and soft drinks)

You need a special invitation or a diplomatic card to visit here. Its a cool place. Dance bar and special events on Friday and Sunday nights

Alliance française and Cultural Department of the Embassy of France now owns this place. They are renovating it
