There are seven different restaurants in Islamabad Serena Hotel. We liked Rakaposhi the most. Food, service and environment was excellent. We tried cream of chicken soup and pasta. Both were simply awesome. It has both indoor and out sitting options. Sitting outdoor at night is soothing with green grass and lighting effects. A must try if you are staying at Serena.

The cafe is excellent for quick lunch break .cold snacks,cake slices with comfortable seating indoor and outdoor.

Quite hidden behind some shops, I only found this cafe on my third visit to the Serena.Apart from pastries, this is where more western food is available like burgers, pizza and pasta, as well as good coffee. Its a great addition to the other 5 restaurants in the hotel.

The staff is very slow; it really does take a while to get their attention, and it took a while for both drinks to come out.Moreover, I don’t think the place understands what a chocolate mocha is, or well, what a mocha is. Warning: DO NOT HAVE THEIR CHOCOLATE MOCHA UNLESS YOU LIKE THE TASTE OF VERY BITTER COFFEE WITH SOME CHOCOLATE THROWN IN ON THE FOAM ON TOP.The hot chocolate was nice, but it did have some rough bits floating around in it, which was a bit weird. It was also really really hot, in a way that I don’t think drinks are supposed to be.The place is pretty, and it is nice to sit here, but is a nice ambience worth such mediocre service and bad coffee?As a whole, very disappointed

They manage to serve really good food..thanks to a solid chef and kitchen at the back. The patisserie and bakery do excellent creations. Their waiters could do with some improvement. Overall a great cafe and being in a reclusive place helps the ambiance. Overall it is a cross between a lounge and a cafe and a restaurant.

Italian restaurant within five star Serena hotels Islamabad. Serves you a range of hot and cold beverages and finger licking delicious desserts. From starter soups to grilled steaks, they provide a real treat for your tongue and a satiety to your hunger pangs. A must try for all who stay at Serena. The only flaw, early closing time at 10:30PM.

I always admire this cafe because of their unique desserts and absolutely amazing scenic views. This cafe is located inside Serena Hotel.Islamabad and is my go to places these days. Loved the setting. Ordered steaks which were below average. The burger and sandwiches were excellent. The approach to the restaraunts is a bit confusing and not marked well.

It is a good place to meet and hold informal meetings. The prices are on high side as one could imagine. The majority of staff is from Gilgit/Hunza.

Away from happening Serena, Rakaposhi is a place where you can find a good opportunity to enjoy your cup of coffee in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A high end facility, it offers quite a few good menu items. Coffee is always very popular and also the bakery items which are fresh and delicious. You can sit inside or outside when its not sunny. Highly recommend it.

Very poor quality. Had moroccan tea, it was literally the exact same as our mint kehva. The baked items were all stale and tasteless!

Rakaposhi is a nice quiet corner of the Serena where you can get fresh seasonal juices, tea/coffee, and some really good snack options ranging from the sweet to the salty, such as sandwiches, cookies, cakes, etc. If the weather permits, you could also sit in its adjacent lawn. Earlier, one could access the restaurant and its lawn directly without entering the hotel, but now one can get there only through the main entrance to the lobby of the hotel.

Rakaposhi restaurant is proud of Serena Islamabad. Being the only restaurant in a beautiful hotel rakaposhi restaurant proves the qaulity and hygenic food stuff. It has beautiful sitting arrangements. Also have garden sitting. Food stuff is out class. Tea coffee and other beverage are according to international standard. I really recommend to go there with family and friends.
