Looks ordinary from outside... but is a good Government Hospital...having very professional Doctors.. lower staff is very rude... area is very small... wards ate crowded... too much patients in wards...Overall a good Hospital..

Hospital needs to improve Patient services further. Better than before services now.

Whenever I get there I was welcomed by the paramedical staff of this hospital. This is very good choice of lower middle classes to have medical services in almost free of cost as compared to other private hospital or clinics.

Staff in Medical ICU is very bostful. they think treating attendant with rude and unprofessional they will earn hilal rizq. Hello be a PRO and learn how to speak with patients and attendants. this is the reason our is not growing due to such kind of illiterate and unprofessional staff specially nurse. Management please teach them how to behave.

So it has a limited bed and the total covered area is small.Government should spend more money on Health Care of its Citizens because healthy nation can play a very vital role in the development of Country.

A hospital of most qualified and devoted doctors. I have experience of its surgery department which was beyond my expectations. From department head to a ward boy n nurse I found them all very cooperative and duty full. Both the senior doctors and junior doctors are very duty full and efficient. Due to load and Rush in OPD there may be some inconvenience but overall doctors are good ones.

Its a free government hospital where doctor checkup is doen free of charge and basic investigatolion are free of charge surgeries are free too but some of the expenditure need to be covered by the patient. Over night admissions are free .they have a 24/7 Emergency which is not as up dated and for some specialities ,patients might need to be transferred to a tertiary hospital in a close proximity (Pims).poly Clinic been the first ever hospital was established for the first few Islamabad residents. So it has a limited bed and the total covered area is small.There has been a talk of expansion for a very long time and that would mean going towards the South where there is a local park by the name of Argentina park.

Federal Government Services Hospital is the famous and well reputed hospital in Islamabad. This was first ever Government Hospital which was established in Islamabad after this city was declared the new Capital of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It is located at Shaheed e Millat Road. The hospital is providing all kind of medical services. The Federal Government Services Hospital is providing medical services 24 hours in a day. This is one and only specialized hospital which is providing health care facilities to the Federal Government servants working in Federal Secretariat and its attached departments. Although the numbers of beds and wards have been increased from time in every department of the Hospital but due to increase in population and rapid increase in different types of diseases, the patients numbers have also been increased many fold. Therefore, this Hospital and its Doctors and Paramedics staff, laboratories, operation theater etc etc, inspite of their best efforts and modern machines and equipment are not capable of meeting the demands of patients. Although, every Government promise to spend more money on Health Services but during annual budget financial constraints become a hurdle and very nominal increase is allocated in Health Budget. There is a need to build new 5-6 modern hospitals in the Urban as well Rural Areas of Islamabad to meet the challenges of very dangerous diseases of these days. Therefore, Government should spend more money on Health Care of its Citizens because healthy nation can play a very vital role in the development of Country.

So called govt hospital where you have to show patience , you have to go through parchi process even if you got emergency !!Gynaecology dept ask you to book you case 4-5 months before delivery by making card !! Please never visit hospital if you dont have card because they dont bother to check without card even youre in labour pains ! So please please book yourself then visit !

Excellent Government facility for the poor patients. Dentistry, Gynae, Paeds, Dialysis, Pathological Labs,OPD, accident and emergency, Nephrology, Eye, ENT, Pharmacy, Minor OT, Surgery, Physio Therapy, Cardiology, Medicine and all other medical departments are working. Doctors, Pharmacists and other para medical Staff are very professional. All medical services are under one roof.

U need someone to help u there frm their staff otherwise u cant get ur proper checkup or medications :(Sadly all the govt hospitals are stil on same stage

Total waste of time, the worst staff ever I have seen ,very disappointedI lost my discharge certificate , the hospital staff needs a refreshment to issue a duplicate discharge certificate.What a shame. We are corrupt as a nation.

Poly clinic hospital is located in G-6 islamabad, The services in the hospital are well as compare to other hospitals in federal capital and only Pims and polyclinic are big hospitals of islamabad. And with the passage of time a lot of departments functioning well as compare to past but now still a lot of work has to be done towards improving overall condition. The hospital management needs to improve stay facility for visitors as the patients from far flung aeas visit here and provide medicines free to patients as most of the people in Pakistan are poor and cant afford prices of costly medicines.

Inhumane behaviour by on call gyne doctor. Refused to accept in labour patient with previous c/sections, and written false examination findings on hospital paper to avoid herself from trouble and didnt stamp as well. Referring the labouring patient to other hospital while the patient is supposed to have urgent c/section. Worst and inhumane behaviour I have seen ever.

Its a government hospital. Suited in G-6, In morning OPD patients are checked and emergency cases 24 hours treatment available in the hospital. Its not very neat and clean hospital. Several departments/Sections are present in the hospital like gynaecology, cardiology, ENT, orthopaedic, surgery, medical etc.

All employees if federal government are entitled here either present or retired. Buidling in huge area, surgery, Medical, neurological, ent, casuality, all dept are here.So its always crowded hospital. For any emergency patients are refred here.MNA, MPA usually come here and special rooms are availed by them ir their relatives. Public In OPD has to face line que, long wait. Surgeons are highly experts in surgery dept. IU baig is famous obe of them.Medicine is given free on internal medical store but basic economical only.Expensive medicines are not available for patients. Public complaints they use public budget and expensive medicines are resold out side stores.
