The property had great rating which is why I booked my stay here however I was disappointed to see lack of maintenance and cleanliness.

Location is ideal. Rooms are Spacious. Washrooms needs alot of renovation. Alot of improvement needed in breakfast. There must be buffet breakfast with multiple options.I stayed there 4 nights during winters in month of December when temperature was 0C in Islamabad and there was no hot water available to take shower. As per staff, house is full and its very difficult to get hot water as installed gas cylinders and geysers are not sufficient for all rooms. They offered me to take water in bucket or take shower in another washroom which is definitely not acceptable from my side. I waited 2-3 hours to get hot water.

Staff is rude. They need to know how to talk with customers. Place is good but spoiled by staff

Quiet and calm neighborhood with easy accessibility across Islamabad. friendly and cooperative staff. Room was a bit small but nice and clean.

If youre in islamabad, this is one of the best places to stay. Location is the primary strength of this place. Staff is also very diligent and courteous. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Nice comfortable place

Its a pretty good place to stay. Its a house like most other guest houses but fairly well maintained. The room was nice and clean. The mattress could have been a little better. They have a massage hot tub in the washroom which is not that practical as when youre showering its very difficult to stand in it. And when getting out of it, its quite dangerous. They provided toiletries as well. The breakfast was good. They have ironing facilities. Staff was cordial and friendly. All in all, a good alternative to Islamabad club minus the tub.

Beautiful and peaceful surrounding, very near to Jinnah Super Market (F7 Markaaz The best place to spend your time).Nice & Clean guest house of Islamabad. Excellent and very helpful Staff & management.Complementary Breakfast, however lunch and dinner menu are little bit over priced but over all the best place for stay.

We loved our stay here, our children felt relaxed as well as we did. Lovely spacious rooms, however, I was impressed with the bathroom - it was clean and done up to a modern style. Highly recommend this location, the staff were very patient with our children. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Didnt feel like a hotel, it felt more like home. Shops and restaurants are just around the corner.

Exclusive yet easily approachable. The rooms especially the one facing the lawn were comforting, elegant and affordable as well. Kids enjoyed a lot. Pleasant stay.

Good place for holidays. Nice and caring staff. I stayed 2 days. Rooms are good and bit warm (visited in December). But AC/Heater noise was bit more. Else place was nice and clean. Food was also good.

We booked this for 1 night in August 2019, extra mattress they provided was wet, I request them to change...the next one was wet too.. I request them to change it too..They change and bring new spring mattress... The bedsheet they provide had a big stain.. I request them to change it... The next was just ok..The way they provide and throw mattress and sheets is like they gave me the room for free.. non-professional staff... dont know how to deal with customers... there were two washroom and both of them were messy.. Clearly they dont know what is deep cleaning...I would not stay here next time with family...

I travel frequently and reading 4 to 4.5 rated reviews i gave it a go but considering family requirements, i would hardly give this lodge a 3 out of 5. Rooms are spacious but clearly show neglect. As quite a few lamps and lights are out of order. Cleanliness is average. Wooden Paneling was okay but giving away now. Fridge wasnt provided in the room. No complimentray basket in the room. Water dispenser in the lobby had single used glass placed with it instead of disposables. Floor rugs didnt appear to be clean. Sofa cushions were DIRTY. Clear yellow marks on white sofa clothings. Rest the people are courtious but the services provision is a big let down. I would not stay again with my family in this place.

My trip went just great. Room service is quick. Food is good and on time. Rooms are big and nice. Extra mattresses were surprisingly perhaps more comfortable than the bed! The location is also just great.The rooms arent sound proof so some noise is expected, although rare. We went with kids and I am sure they made a lot of noise to be heard in the corridors, but thats not a big deal anyways.Laundry service was superb. Fast and accurate.Wifi too was functional and speedy.

Well to begin with staff is friendly and very cooperative. Also property is decent enough to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I arrived late and requested food they ordered and got me KFC and in the morning I requested local breakfast they sent their employee to get it for me. I would definately recomend this place for short stay.

If on my 1st day to stay, they had already changed the new pillow cases, then it would be much better. But all staffs are very nice, helpful, WiFi signal, sometimes was good, sometimes was not working. But room and bathroom were cleaned well. Breakfast were very good. thanks

Located on one of the most expensive real estate in Islamabad. Furnished with good quality furnishings, and fittings but not matched according to rooms.we were to arrive late at night so informed before hand but room with spare mattress as specified beforehand was not ready , and when provided, it was one of the dirtiest mattress and blanket and staff insisted that thats all they have.Not all the rooms have all the amenities as listed , our room did not have minibar, hairdryer and not even a window. The room had designer beds but not suited for the room as they were very big two single beds very uncomfortable. The washroom had commode with poor flushing system ( we had to flush 6 time to get rid of previous contaminates) , AC was dripping water all night on the bed. Next morning we ordered breakfast which arrived after 2 hours dead cold. at this stage we wanted to cut short our 4 day trip and go back but were promised by a staff member that they will change our room. It took another full day to fulfill their promise. as we shifted to our new room, their staff assured us based on our complains that old room will not be in service any more till fixed. (their assurance lasted only few hours)New room was a lot better, it had a window..., minibar, and folding bed with brand new blankets instead of the dirty mattress they insisted was their best. This room had its own problems but was much better than before so we stayed the remaining two days.

At last I could not got warm water from shower. I found some stains from new towel and a lot of mold from cloth which using for iron, Some pen mark from cushion. Firstly hotel stuff said that they have only one cloth for using iron but I claimed. They tried to found another one but they could not do that. So I used towel for using iron.They offered another room but even move to another hotel in next morning why I could not got hot water from shower, nobody help me to move. And They try to told me what is name of person who is using same hotel from Japanese embassy then I check in. Japanese most take care about keeping personal information so I was very surprised.I could not found hunger and want to use iron so I requested these thing and about shower temperature, Look hotel stuff go fed up. I could not sleep such a room well. I should have book another hotel, I really regret still now.

I didnt really enjoy my stay in this guest house, I booked the room for 3 guests but I was given a room for 2. When requested for the extra bed, we were informed that I would be charged for extra bed though I booked it online and already paid it. Water was not warm enough in the bathroom and the shower area was so small one could hardly stand up. We had to wait a long time for our breakfast.... thought the area is very nice.

We had a marvelous stay in Islamaba at the Gofas Lodge. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the Lodges Dining for some exquisite dishes. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury Lodge. My only qualm was that the Kitchen closed a little too early each evening

I spent more than a month there 18-6-2018 till 28-7-2018 , i found place is very quite and nice , staff is cooperative , food of restaurant is good , room is good but there is no voice isolation you can hear other rooms activity , bathroom needs improvements

Dirty, disorganized place with no idea of hotel management. Leaking water in bathrooms and broken lights. Not even a water glass or a fridge in the room till we complained. Not recommended.

Will provide extra proper mattress on request.Negatives: Broken wooden portion of the floor, crack in the ceiling, exposed pipes in the washroom, broken parts of the tub, no mini bar or fridge, no separate shower, tub shower is small, broken springs in the bed, blinds instead of curtains, small room, spotty Wi-Fi.

Booked over telephone for some ladies. When they arrived they thought that the bathroom was stinky and had to change the guest house.
