An initiative by Rawalpindi Cantt to upgrade this hospital, now a days they are working upon new project like for imaging technology, Laboratory, as well as for 200+ Bed ward..a nice step in the sector of health care specially for the people of Rawalpindi..Currently they have a newly installed CT Scan machine of High precision..

Need and clean hospital but i am not satisfied because i was visited there for vaccinate my from Polio drop but unfortunately its come to know that they not provided Polio whole year, only provide during Polio campaign, if we wants to beats polio from our country we need to provide every possible place 24hours whole year.

Cantonment General Hospital Rawalpindi is under Rawalpindi cantonment and a large cantonment located in Rawalpindi, Punjab Province, Pakistan under Pakistan Army. The hospital facilitate out door Patient (day only) and indor patient & Emergency facility 24 hours. In OPD, the all department are active and facilitate to the local community living in Rawalpindi only. The hospital facilities are some good. The management is also good. The receipt amount is Rupees 50 only. However the any other test charges are on payment which is quite very less than other private hospital or laboratory. The time for collection of test results are some time one to two days. Or X-ray, City scan, and all type of lab test facilities are offered on Doctor advice by the hospital. The medicine are free for entitled person and organization only.

Best hospital in the town . offers free emergency and public treatment even do have a ambulance serviceA good infrastructure and facilities.

It is indeed a good govt hospital , i see clean floors ,staff is available on counters ,not so rushy and doctor are also good. We had to visit physiotherapist and the experience was 100% recommendable .Basically we are habitual of paying big fees of greedy doctors and thats why when we pay just Rs50 for consultant and even 1st treatment fees it feel very abnormal to us.

Awesome hospital but staff is too much less for there daily patients check up....
