One the worst experience with Dr. MUJTABA of RIC. This Money-hungary doctor will treat the panel patients with utmost disrespect. Yes, if you are not on panel and paying him the money he will be like a father-like to you. SHAME ON SUCH DR. He gives the patients date of operation and on the final day, he refuses by saying, I will see again for an OPERATION, because there is another patient who is giving him money for operation Patients here are waiting for 2 yrs for operation and these kind of doctors make then suffer more.

The hospital was established by Punjab Health Department in 2012, it is a non-profit tertiary level cardic hospital, situated at Rawal Road in Rawalpindi Pakistan.

Drs do not give time to patients and do not explain what is the problem and what they are going to do with the Patient. I lost my brother due to their poor attention and care. Highly dissatisfied. Money Hungry people.

Doesn’t deserve even a single star ...My mom had a heart problem, we been to RIC they did angiography, and board decided we will do open heart surgery. We were willing to go for it but due to Corona in March, postponed.During last 3 months we did consult different surgeons and hospitals, at the end we decided to go from Kulsoom International Islamabad. When doctors looked at angiography they were shocked that where the problem was in the veins didn’t clear in report or wasn’t sure what to do, because angiography was done by lab technician (who are just lab technician) which is a misery, which supposed to be done under doctor supervision.Kulsoom int decided to do angiography by them, and which was done under doctor supervision, during that process they decided to put stents rather then heart surgery. They did say this before that we will not do heart surgery on the basis to report or video due to inexperience member of staff. Alhumdollih they Did treatment and we are satisfied.It’s such a shame, Alhumdollih I had a option or opportunity to go to other hospital, think about other peoples who can’t afford expensive treatment and got the surgeries done due to unqualified lab technician or lack of supervision. I am not targeting whole hospital it’s jus the process how they decide what to do after report.

I went through an MI in emergency, I was treated well by Dr. Asma Shabbir. She is one hell of a professional and very kind. she is probably the only reason why I wrote this review. I gave four stars and not five because of the unprofessional and rude nursing staff as well as poor condition of the bathrooms.

This was my first experience of visiting a government hospital and i was amazed with the cleanliness and equipment they have. The staff was also not rude, unlike most of the government employees are. The only problem faced was everything took a lot of Waiting time which was understandable because of number of patients.

I found the hospital clean. Hence two stars. My kid was checked by PAED Cordiologist Dr. Rafiq Hussain, Trainee, who was quite busy with his Smartphone. He could not diagnose anything just write ECHO test. For this test his assistant Rameez gave me a date late in aug 2020, and he also written his personal mob on back of prescription paper and advised that he may facilitate this test privately to his known private dr clinic. I went with high hopes and returned with nothing medicin and diagnosis.

This hospital provides good medical services in heart related diseases. The doctors and other staff is cooperative but still I found that lower staff try to get tip. The canteen is good one and providing cheap meals. The other expenses are on higher side which needs to be reduced as its a government hospital. The waiting area is good.

Doctors, service and care are excellentInfrastructure good but there are so many patients, therefore, this city needs some more Cardiac Service units in other areas.

Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology situated on Rawal road is one of the best cardiac hospital in Rawalpindi Islamabad after AFIC (run by Army this one situated on Mall road).RIC is developed by Punjab Govt, its a state of the art hospital having limited available resources in Pakistan.Clean and tidy place, quick action service in emergency conditions, its almost free for deserving patients. Very nominal charges for Govt employees.Easy access through Rawal road, enough parking space. Pharmacies are nearby.

I found this hospital, the best in the town. Initially, all prescribed medicines were given free of cost. But now, most of the medicines are short. Laboratory test and echo, ett are done on very low cost, almost one fourth of rates outside.

Not at all satisfied with the doctors. I went there to treat my heart issue. I was surprised to see that only Medical Officers look and treat the general patients. Only recommended patients of MOs are checked by heart specialists. Common poor public is not given proper treatment and care. Protocol are followed for the one who matters to them or have some authority. Crowdy hospital located opposite to PAF Base.

But it is time taking as a large number of patients are in queue for their treatment. The overall administration, setup, dealing with patients and other services are admirable. Visited on June1,2019. Emergency doctor was often curiously checking her WhatsApp preferring over patients. Armed security guard were harassing patients and attendants. Wese emergency ward main what need for armed guards. Staff is non friendly and rude and doesn’t help but complicates the process. They should’ve learnt humanity and care rather than doing their Chaudhraht here.

Governament can built buildings and provides infrastructure, it did, workers can make good environment which this hospital lacks. Professionalism is nowhere, just typical school like environment. Patients/attendants havnt any right what soever. If u know any1 from staff then fine. It took me 3 hours to just pay the fee, & services provided were never worth what I paid.

It definitely have raised the level of trust among other Pakistanis.
