The wettest month is July, with heavy rainfalls and evening thunderstorms with the possibility of cloudbursts. The coolest month is January with dense fog.

Met Station - Weather Radar is situated on Jail Road, in Shadman, right in front of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU).Its owned by ministry of meteorology and is connected with their weather forecast system. It provides environmental temperature, pressure, air velocities, humidity, infrared rays intensities. It gives rain and flood forecasts as well.Their office is very calm and quiet and is spread over reasonable area of land.Their staff colony is situated right on other side of the lane, on Jail Road as well.
