This is a government institution so dont expect a lot of educated people in this place, 50+ years old teachers with out dated knowledge, same is the condition with students, they are not actually there to get educated, they need a degree to pretend they are educated. Its the same corrupt system that can be found everywhere in my country from top to bottom hierarchy.

M.A.O College has very good teachers and professors but the students are very null. Almost all Students are not serious with their studies. They do just two activities one is come in college and second is go homes. They feel trouble to open books and note the lectures of teachers. So that then teachers also leave them on their headache. In my view point the good base of an institution is on the talent of its students and M.A.O College has not like these students.

It is among the oldest educational institutions in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1933 as MAO College by Anjuman-e-Islamia at Amritsar and Professor S. Mercado was appointed as the first Principal. It had played significant role in the creation of Pakistan. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, the College was shifted to Lahore.

I had my graduation from here in the session of 2006-08. Those were the last years of union kinda things from the educational institutes of Lahore. Id say that teaching faculty is extremely well trained and amply willing to deliver the knowledge to the students provided that students have the urge to gain. Being my alma mater, I would always have positive memories with this prestigious educational institution.

After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, the College was shifted to Lahore.MAO College was established in Amritsar on the pattern of the MAO College Aligarh to overcome the deficiencies of modern education in local Muslims. At the time of Partition, most of the College staff and students migrated to Lahore, where a new MAO College was established in the former Sanatana Dharma College premises.

I love this place because i stay there for three years. The teaching staff is quite well in the institute.college management is also very good. They manage peace in the institution.

Historical college in Lahore. A great poet and philosopher Allama Muhammad iqbal was attached with this college.But now a days college has lost his identity due to some mismanagement and administrative rules.

Established in 1933 at Amritsar, this college has played a vital role in Pakistans independence. After 1947 it was shifted to Lahore in for DAV college (Dayanand Anglo Vedic) college. Its alumni are notable figures of Pakistan. Among them are Ata ul Haq Qasmi, Faiz Ahmed Faiz( its English lecturer), Khawaja Saad Rafique, politician.
