I was at butt karahi last night and i simply loved their desi chicken makhni as always. Superb and delicious.

Butt Karahi is an iconic restaurant in Lahore. Located at Lakshmi chowk, it offers one of the best desi chicken karahis in the city. Their taste is unparalleled and the place is almost always crowded so it is advised that you go or invite guests accordingly. Also, it takes quite a bit of time for your desi order to arrive because they make it fresh in front of you. Parking is a bit of a hassle but their guards help you find a spot. If you love chicken karahi, this is the place to be.

Dining area is excellent. Neat n clean atmosphere. Services are good. You have to wait for good n testy food

Superb chicken karahi better than other places (including Bundu Khan) and not pricy. There are 5 shops with same name and marketing logos. My family went to the one next butt sweets. I have heard all 5 are great though. Highly recommended!

Monies worth. It is a must if you visit Lahore. I am talking about Desi Murgh. It is so tasty that it is worth traveling all the way from Islamabad to Lahore just to eat. There are a few around it with the same name but this ones the real one.

The ambience was okay but the karahi was good. Another thing to try is tawa piece. Just the perfect blend of spices and flavour that bursts into your mouth.

Excellent taste. Try to select the meat by the roadside before you go upstairs. It takes a good 45 to 60 minutes to cook as its made FRESH to your order. Waiting is worth it. Ask for fresh Roti to be brought a few at a time. Hygienic slaughter funnels for live fresh organic chicken.

Butt Karahi is the best Karahi I ever had....Tried thier Chicken and Mutton Karahi prepared in Butter and that was SUPER DELICIOUS...Also tried their Chicken Kastori Kabab and Chicken Boti and that was amazing as well.

It is hard to judge which one is the genuine Butt Karahi in the Luxmi chow. So please ask around.

Out of all the butt karahi points, this is the real one.Choose the one made in butter and you will love the every bit of it. So creamy, rich in taste and the meat is so tender.Proper sitting is available and little parking space present outside.Service needs improvement.

Butt Karahi and Tikka is famous karahi point in lahore. But seriously i am nit impressed because all thing are average . I mean taste are normal not so soecial that i say its a best place for karahi. Quality are ok. And service is average. Staff are not Professional they should focus on it and improve their service, taste, quality. Anyhow price/rates are ok . Sitting environment is good. One more thing if you visit this place there is a lot of hotels /restaurants of same name . Usually people got get confused which shop is real . Even i dont know this shop is original or not. Price Worths if u didnt get the taste. Environment was good but taste wasnt and in Lahore if u didnt get taste then why u eat so it was total wastage of money because it was too costly as compared with taste

Best karahi in Lahore.. orginal butt karahi is only one.. top of butt bakery.. desi chicken karahi with butter is awesome as well as mutton karahi.. it takes some time but the meal is unmatched! Loved it.

Taste is not exceptional compared to their high prices. Ambiance is good only for large groups or families. Small bachelor groups are adjusted in a low grade sitting space. Sometime the waiting exceeds one hour on a farms chicken order.

While doing shopping in androon my sister asked fir some lunch nd then i took her to butt karahi..although its a good place in that area and Tasty food they offered in laxmi chowk .we orderd chiken krahi with salad and roti and then we ordered mint margarita .all was goog but i shocked when see the price of mint margarita. V expensive with bitter taste.well its ok ..not too much valuated

The bread served was too cold to intake. While complained, it was instantly rectified by the shift manager. Rest quality of chicken karahi (Desi ghee) is always a pleasure

One of Pathetic experience of life.First of all they served our order to someone else and we come to know about this after 75 mins waiting and then after apologizing of their manger they served kharahi after another 45 mins which is full of spice even we cant recognize the taste due to spice in it.

Pretty small place for adjustment of 20 people on first floor and in evening you can enjoy karahi on chairs open air on roads, they have Desi and broiler chicken and mutton also, one must try Desi chicken as its perfect in taste with peppermint masala.

Taste-less, very bad experience. We ordered regular Coke, the service boy came with cans, he said regular are not available, you have to drink these. Cans were not 2 no, they were 4 or 5 no. Rice, biryani masala, very bad too. Not recommended at all

The original Karahi (chicken/mutton stew) restaurant. The food is simply delicious and you have options to sit on the roadside (noisy and sometimes smelly) or in 2-3 halls that they have above the cooking area. If youre ok with waiting (an hour) then try the Desi (local and bigger) chicken. It is cash only and the best time to go is post midnight. Try the Rabri milk after food.

Overrated. We ordered one kg chicken and half kg mutton. Bill for it was 4560.

It has its very own unique taste and flavor. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best ever karahi i eat after shaheen shinwari. Mutton karahi cooked in butter and the interior left an impact on me. Wasnt expecting this much beautiful environment in such area. Went there 1st time. Will definitely go again.
