Egg’s Benedict from the newly launched breakfast menu of Wasabi.Perfectly toasted bread was the star of the show for me. I don’t think any other restaurant in Lahore has better bread.Even the complimentary bread basket was really good!Special mention for their croissants The egg yolks were very slightly over cooked from the edges but the hollandaise went well with the creamy spinach layer on the bed.The cappuccino is a great blend! Really helped me start my morning well.Wasabi is one of the best when it comes to authentic Japanese cuisine in Lahore and I appreciate the chef for his/her efforts to bring the best to the table.Spotted a Teppanyaki table at the restaurant and that’s definitely going to worth the try too!

I always go to Wasabi as my go to place to have sushi in Lahore and am rarely ever disappointed. However, today I decided to try their breakfast and I can not begin to tell you how greatly I was disappointed The three of us ordered the Pancakes, Shakshuka and Eggs Benedict. Though the pancakes were delicious and the Shakshuka was good too.My Eggs Benedict had a horrible sour and rotten taste to them and moreover, there was no cured meat or any sort of meat on it whereas traditionally a eggs Benedict consists of English muffin, each topped with Turkey bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. This was literally just some bread topped with a sour spinach mixture and an eggs. The hollandaise was horrible and lacked richness. I told the manager to exchange the dish but he said he would put a slice of Turkey bacon on top instead of changing my meal altogether which I had only tasted. What’s worse I ordered an iced mocha latte to arrive before my meal and it arrived after we were finished and that too tasted HORRIBLE. We sent it back and it was still just water and coffee and milk blended together. In the end, we had to ask them to bring us the bill at least four times before they actually brought it and honestly I will never come here again. Specially for their breakfast.

Well honestly i just went for desserts and coffee/drinks and i did not like any of the orders that i made probably the restaurant is better with their food, they had a very friendly staff and great ambiance and is probably good for full course meals; rather than small stops for coffee and drinks. A small complaint is that the servings if the desserts were very small and double the price compared to other cheaper cafes/restaurants; and also was not to that level of deliciousness

Wasabi sereves the authentic Japanese food in a very relaxing, dimly lit ambience that has a very warm and welcoming vibe to it. I tried the hi tea for two, crab cheese balls, chicken karaage, wasabi roast beef sandwich, chicken fettucine alfredo, chicken cheese burger, their signature chocolate dessert, lotus cheesecake, brownie bomb along with special drinks. The food was served fresh and hot that tasted amazing. There was nothing that I didnt like or found average. Drinks had a balanced sweetness and flavour. Coming to the desserts, lotus cheesecake was out of this world. The other two were equally good and rich. Service was quick. Overall, it was a great dining.

We visited Wasabi for sushi. But it was a very nice restaurant. Such a peaceful environment n Japanese music, everything was superb. Food was super delicious. First of all, we tried dumplings. It was my first experience of tasting them. They were awesome. N then my ever favourite Sushi rolls. We tried Wasabi signature rolls n I’ll really highly recommend them bcoz they were really yummlicious. N like always our hot favourite garlic rice with beef n vegetables. Everything was super duper yummy n mouth watering. As this treat was from my husband for his new LC. So I didn’t look at him when he paid the bill . Though it was a costly dinner but we enjoyed it a lot. N long drive after that n shopping before that, it was a memorable day.

One tiny thing which i didnt like was that they were serving Americano which is just black coffee shot ..there should be an option of cappuccino ..

With a firm aim to provide authentic Japanese cuisine, Wasabi has done a wonderful job while decorating the place to give you the vibes accordingly! The entrance is very interesting. The green plants beautifully embrace them grey walls while you saunter through the entrance to be amazed by the ravishing ambience that it has to offer. When you climb the staircase that leads to the restaurant, you are met by a life-size sculpture of a Japanese woman sitting in her comfortable silence welcoming you to a great Japanese dine-in experience that youre about to have. With both indoor and outdoor sitting, Wasabi has done pretty exceptional job while giving them their respective vibes. Both the places offer very different dine-in experience as expected. In nice weather or winter nights, you can sit for hours talking and talking and If youve got your smoke buddy with you, youll talk a bit more. Whichever the case, youll take out a moment to admire the ambience. The walls of the indoor sitting area are painted grey with red and brown interior and dim yellow lights just add to the overall deep and warm vibes of the place. Theres a counter like table where plates and spoons are placed mannerly. This particular section of the restaurant is really aesthetic! The long trails of those yellow LED lights, running along the wall, that only cast their shadowy light on the walls literally have my heart!.Since we were there for breakfast, I opened up the menu to be greeted by almost all the eggy main course and to my surprise, they didnt offer any sushi for breakfast. My taste buds really had some high plans for sushi but life is sad anyways. Hovering over the menu I, as usual, ordered their most expensive omlette, Turkey Scrambler from the chef special menu, while crossing my fingers as my adventures dont always please my taste buds. With a bit disappointment of slow service, I was served my order. I liked their trays to be honest with Wasabi engraved on it. The egg scramble was stuffed in a turkey bacon weave and served with bread and sausages. The bacon strips were delicious and cooked well and the egg scramble was nicely cooked with decent amount of spices and cheese. By the looks of it, you might think you need two of these but believe me if youve finished your tray, you are fully satisfied. I really enjoyed my meal. But the not-so-great strawberry bnana smoothie desaturated the picture a bit. The passive flavours and lack of the desired sweetness didnt work for me but I had to drink it anyways...Theyve mastered their food with a pleasant ambience but the slow service is always a major turn off. Also their drinks need to contain appropriate quantity of the ingredients. Flavours should be a little bit bursting..Come here for good food, great ambience, some dope pictures and vibes.

So refreshing to see this totally amazing Japanese place open shop in Gulberg. Its just behind Ali Tower on MM Alam road. Excellent sushi. Try their California Dream Platter. Also serves a variety of Japanese dishes - Try their Yakiniku and Shogayaki. Excellent drinks. Price is a little steep about Rs. 2,000+ per head depending on what you order. However, its totally worth it! The decor is very tasteful and Ill be surprised if youre not impressed by it. On your way up, check out their sculptures!9/10

This is a very upscale place so I was not expecting mayonnaise in most of the dishes ordered. Otherwise service was good and the food was fresh. When I went, there were not many customers so I expect they are not usually crowded. You may appreciate this if you dislike crowds and prefer a quiet and cosy place.Personally my favourite dish was the garlic rice. Probably because it is hard to get that wrong. Would not be my go-to for Japanese.

I love sleep because Its like a time machine to breakfast .Wasabi is the house of authentic Japanese cuisine and thats for the people with acquired taste of japanese food .They have both outdoor and indoor sitting availabile. Wasabi is the most Peaceful and exquisite place to eat and is truly the one of the finest restaurant. I always love to observe what is around me.The staff was quite professional. The employees were greeting the customers cheerfully and enthusiastically; this amiable behaviour of staff and the soft Japanese music  (shakuhachi music) playing in the background, made the place quite relaxing and peaceful for me.Ambiance: 9/10.Lets come to the food I ordered ️ :Mushroom melt:- I choosed that meal from tartines section as that sounds so appealing to me. That was just served in almost 15 minutes. I definitely loved its presentation, toast topped up with half fried egg and mushroom cheese sauce. It smelled rich, promising a delightful taste. The rich aroma, warmness and soft texture made me enjoy every bite of this dish.Price : 750 RsRating: 7/10. Chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie :-  The chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie was served with my meal and that was so delicious and healtheir. I only recommend this to those you like the taste of peanut butter.Price: 550 RsRating: 8/10.French Toast :- Eggy bread, french toast, pain perdu..... Whatever you called it, french toast makes a simple and delicious breakfast. Their single serving included three pieces of thick-toast with chocolate syrup. The eggy soft custard bread-yi nsides, the toppings, the icing sugar, the sauce. Everything about french toast made me insanely happy. I definitely loved it.Price: 800 RsRating: 9/10.So, no doubt my overall experience was good at Wasabi. I would sum up my experience  with 8/10 rating. Do visit them for an authentic wealthy English breakfast.

It was a one of a kind experience. We had the sushi rolls and a beef dish which was cooked to perfection. I loved their interior. The two cranes, one standing and looking up and the other one tangled in ropes seemed like a Japanese tale or myth. We talked about samurais and harakiri with our food because the interior was just so very compelling that it transported us to another region

I had chicken udons and chicken gyōza which are dumplings....For udons its 5 stars but dumplings were not upto the mark.... The filling tasted like it was done in food processor ... But I say its a must try.. The culinary and interior takes you to Japan...Update: I had the chance to visit wasabi again. But this time the udons were not as good as last time, its been six months and I still have the taste of chewy hot udon, but this time portion was small and tasted cold and dry with less slurp, i change the rating from 4 to 2. Second order miso spicy dumplings ramyun, tasted good but the spicy dumplings were so small and not even spicy, but it still had the rich msio broth so I will give it a 3.5 star. For the drink I had mixed berry mojito which tasted more like mint mojito so 3 star. I am adding the points for visual in ratings as well.My advice, always order one thing, you can always order more, your taste can be different from mine so do explore.Ps, for pictures from this visit, you can go to my profile and click photos

Personally while I like the decor and the ambiance and the sitting, the food while aesthetically pleasing wasnt amazing. I ordered their french toast twice and the only thing I remember are the blueberries and whipped cream on the sides and while they may be the best french toast that Lahore has to offer, they are not the best I have had.Similarly Wasabi Benedict should have a crunchy toast for the moist egg to sit and taste well. Mixing creamy spinach and wasabi together isnt a great combo. The egg in itself was well done.

One thing I always appreciate in a restaurant is the authenticity of the food. Regardless of my experience, I always want to experience the real taste. Wasabi Lahore managed to live up to their hype and managed to produce quite authentic Sushi taste. We started with tasty Miso soup and jump straight to sushi. I give it to their chef for keeping taste the to its authenticity. With good ambience and polite staff, you can enjoy trace seating in a good weather. It doesn’t have good view but it’s nice to sit out and enjoy the food. Usually “good” restaurants that receive negative feedback always call the customer to tell them the measures they’ve taken to improve, didnt happen. Most of the items from the menu were not available, the tea served was not strained the tea cup had tea patti in it, there is no difference between breakfast platter and regular omelette the platter had the exact same things as the omelette ordered. The juices served were absolutely tasteless. Usually I don’t complain of the staff but the staff is in dire need of training and they need to be trained on how to behave with the customer. It’s the most expensive and worst experience I’ve ever had in a breakfast.

Over rated... As soon as we sat down placed ordered sushi came rather quickly as it should. Surprisingly the exaust system is bad and the inside of room was quickly filled with smoke of cooking food which itched our eyes through out our time there... Servings are rather less especially that of rice. We ordered 2 chicken and one beef enteree... Beef dish mentioned its tenderloine beef chilli but it wasnt that but it was chewy. I cant recommend someone to go there as the value for money is pretty low... People may disagree with my opinion but thats just mine.
