The sushi was not fresh or worth the price they charged. We had also ordered teriyaki which was swimming in gravy, very sweet and completely unpalatable. I would say their service was reasonable as the manager took the teriyaki back and offered a new one but by that time our experience was so bad we simply wanted to pay the bill and leave. Would not recommend it if you are seeking a nice dinning experience or want your moneys worth of food .

Sushi wasn’t worth the money.I ordered two classic rolls. One California roll, and the other Crunchy California roll. And I got them delivered. They gave me a good portion of wasabi on the side and the pickled ginger as well. However, for the amount of money I paid, I was very shocked with how small these rolls were. Sliced into 8 pieces, that’s normal, however the size of each piece was so small that my 10 year old was able to easily get the whole piece into his mouth. They didn’t even take up the whole container they were placed in. And as I was calculating the cost of everything hat goes into making this roll, it just doesn’t add up. At all... the imitation crab meat wasn’t even a full stick. And there was definitely Hardly any avocado if any at all in the whole roll... had I spent this much on sushi in the states I would have been full and satisfied from two whole rolls... I was left completely frustrated and depressed that I had spent so much money on so little. Astugfirullah

Really disappointed. It was a take away order of Cooked Sushi Platter and trusting the restaurant, I didnt check what they gave me. When I reached home & opened the bag, it was just one small box with 5 small pieces of a roll. But according to the menu there should be 3 different Sushis. They gave me incomplete platter and charged 2900 for it.

Prices are fair in regards to other high end Japanese restaurants and the food is fantastic. Must visit for sushi lovers.

Amazing sushi, worth every rupee. The fish is as tender as it should be, feels fresh and tastes amazing. I wish their sushimi was less expensive or was available in pairs instead of 8 or 10, but otherwise it was really good. Also tried their miso soup, which was absolutely lovely. They were out of edamame unfortunately.Loved the quiet and the ambiance.

One of the best sushi you will find in Lahore

Went to the Buy 1, get 1 free special service. This is only in DHA and on Monday and Tuesday. If you are a sushi lover, this is worth trying. The salmon was superb and their fusion items were also great. They made one mistake in the order which I didnt mind but some people get offended if this happens. The tempura was nice but I would not say exception. Tuna was passable but not great. It is hard to get tuna right anyways.Finally, about the service. Food was served reasonably quickly and the waiters were very efficient. The manager seemed somewhat disinterested. My wife was of the opinion that he was tired. I was hoping for some smile and enthusiasm. In conclusion, highly recommended if you can afford not to worry about the price of each menu item.

I had no idea about sushi taste maybe thats why I dont like it. Still wasabi was good place to visit. Atmosphere was very clean. Very decent ambiance & furniture. Very very cooperative staff members. Such a cozy place. I would say must give a visit maybe you like the food.

Definitely a great place small but well maintained authentic taste n good range. Our palate was not tunned to that traditional Japanese food style but its great n worth trying visiting again. Ill try it once more for sure

Best shushi in town!

Arguably one of the best Japanese restaurants in Lahore. Arguably, also, one of the finest sushi servers in town! Their California prawns and Salmon Maki are awesome. Maki - yes, try their Maki. Its something to die for! Recommended.

The resturant has good ambiance. The sushi and waghu stake was ok. But the lotus cheese cake was amazing. Thats the only thing I liked.

Utterly pathetic. I had to cancel everything because the soup was so poor, COLD, and to top it off stank to the point where I could smell the potential food poisoning. I could make a better shin cup which costs 150rs from Alfatah, instead of the trash they just served me and my family. It should just close down. Extremely disappointed and saddened to have to write this review.

Extremely disappointed! Wasabi unfortunately steers away from authentic and stops akwardly before fusion. It feels incomplete, unsatisfying and more of a gimmick than a serious restaurant.I ordered 4 dishes, an appetizer and a soup along with two mains. With the exception of the soup which was the only (non-japanese) item, everything was just average at best (and nothing like the authentic dish they were mimicking).The appetizers, wasabi prawns, were prepared without a hint of wasbi...one of the mains, beef yakiniku was substituted by fried crispy beef that you will get at any Chinese restaurant...and the yakisoba...well lets just say you are better off having Chinese at this restaurant...

Very unco-operative staff and really slow service. Alot of the items in the menu “run-out” even early morning. The custard with the pancakes was bitter and in late September even when it’s pleasant out side the place upstaris was uncomfortablely hot. Don’t recomment to anyone and won’t come again .

Good for different types of sushi including Japanese food. Initially defence branch rates r less then gulberg branch so far they r not offering breakfast here but they r moving opposite to another building where they will offer breakfast which is fully recommended

Prawn tempura very reasonably priced at Rs 1250 for 6 pieces. Quite good. The salmon sashimi was very fresh. All in all, a good experience.

Fantastic Japanese dining brought about by Filipino and Pakistani cooks. Yeah, that Asian guy isnt Japanese. Just because he looks Asian! Anyway, great food at fairly reasonable (for Defense) prices.

Wasabi is a great place for sushi but at times some of the fish is not fresh. But today the fish was very fresh and the beef was also delicious. The last time i visited wasabi the tuna and prawn werent fresh, which made the visit unsatisfactory. Although, today has been a better experience.

I was a huge fan of their sushi but this time around it was not up to the mark. Though prices have been increased yet the quality has gone down. Disappointed!
