Chaye Khana is a place where you just want to unwind yourself. Good company and the amazing mix tea gives you a homely feeling. One thing for sure is that it’s not much comfortable when its crowded. And also they have excluded khagina from their menu which is really saddening. A must go to place for people from defence and askari 10/11 for whom the gulberg branch is a little far away.

Good locality, quiet-ish darkish ambiance, good food, higher prices -- All in all a good experience but not good value for your money. The menu and taste is similar to famous Chaaye Khana of Islamabad (which also used to be better in old days). This place is worth a visit, especially if you are alone, or want to do some work on your laptop while having a cup of tea or coffee. Nothing too tasty or impressive

A good place to hangout and chill especially for chai lovers, yes they definitely can make a good cup of karak chai which is my go to at this place ana with that good menu options for some desi breakfast and desserts

The environment is calm and delightful but its a very costly place. Their charges are probably 2 times of the other restaurants.

It was okay. I expected chaye Khana to have halwa puri but that was not the case. Maybe they were having a bad day but the food was very average and over priced. We actually went home and had breakfast again. Even chaye was luke warm and lacked taste.

Chai Khana-DHA Lahore————————————-A terrible experience. I could only say is that they don’t know how to make tea. Even coffee was not good. We also tried banoffee Pie and that was out of sorts as well. I have heard that their food menu is great but have never tried. Worst experience ever. 2/10.

I went to Chaaye Khana couple of week back, its a good place to hangout and to have hot beverages, usually I like to have tea after dinner... We ordered chocolate brownies with their mix tea, it was good combination, place is also good, ambiance of restaurant is good with low lighting... It is recommended...

I have been to Mm Alam chai khana numerous times, this was my first visit to DHA branch with my friends. We ordered tea/coffee and brownies. The brownies where hard and stiff. We got them changed , the replaced one were same like before. The third time the brownies were better. But still it was a unpleasant experience as Im big fan of chai khana. Hope theyll look into it and improve

Parking car is not an easy option here. Staff is courteous but service vise not very professional, served tea which needed to rewarm again. Not like we have experienced at M. M ALAM road branch.

Ordered a Mushroom Chicken Steak, and it had average taste, with less quantity of meat as compared to other places.By the time we had finished our meals, the drinks arrived so it wasnt a good experience. Perhaps, they can improve it next time.

It was a wonderful experience in Sunday breakfast. Atmosphere with awesome in chilly morning. Food was hot and excellent in taste. Tried parathas, omelette and Qeema and was perfectly served with hot cup of tea. Good recommended experience from my side. They are serving Poori Halwabplatyer for Rs 300 too.

Was disappointed hugely . Layout is very odd. They took us upstairs to be seated but place smelled of smoke/cigarettes. Although smoking area is separate but small was all around. Ordered simple high tea but took ages for it to come. All in all big dha chaey khana was big disappointment and nowhere near other branch.

French toast are love. Rest is just okay

Went with family and waited 35 minutes patiently but no signs of order arriving. Finally asked a waiter to check and he came back with excuse that something fell down so they have to remake and will take 5 minutes. Had to leave as was short on time but they really need to improve service if they want to retain clients. Overall bad experience. Lesson learnt is that keep on asking about order every 10 minutes. Wont be going again to this branch.

Very good place for chit chat.

One of the worst experiences ever in a Chaaye Khana branch. Went with family on the second day of Eid. They were understaffed so I decided to overlook the fact that our simple order of tea and french toast took literally 25mins to arrive. To add to that, another server came to our table and left an order of molten lava cake and a slice of cake on our table. I told the server that we didnt order lava cake or the cake slice to which he responded it was complimentary. We figured it was attempt to make up for their poor service. Later when the bill came we found out that they were charging us for the complimentary stuff they put on our table. It was total mayhem. We had asked our left over food to go. We hadnt touched the cake slice. And upon finding out that they had made a mistake, they asked for the cake slice (which was packed alongside other left over items from our order) back - frankly very pathetic.Overall, pathetic experience. I would never go back to this outlet. Oh, and our tea came in cold. But we were so sick of it by then that we simply decided to have it anyway and leave asap.

Awesome food

Chaye khana is BEST when it comes to teas and hot beverages. Awesome tea assortments without a doubt. But Mains are not that bad too. Quite an impressive level of presentation skills they have. Food looks so appeasing in your plate. Just had pan-seared fish fillet with beetroot puree, caramleised onions and cherry tomatoes. And the fish for a fish lover like me was just perfectly cooked. Rest we had chocolate mousse and which is highly recommended. Only problem was with the cherry tomatoes, they were just too old fridge kept. Overall they are doing great.

Somehow I have tried chaaye khana in isb and lahore both have same standards for food and service. Staff is lousy in both the places and carry lesser value for customers. Bit rude and annoyed seems the business owner is not treating them well and not paying their wages as per the expectations and market value.

Worst place ever.I ordered choclate mousse once, and when i asked for the bill they charged me for choco brownie mousse. The difference in their price is quite enough. And the manager was still persistent that the menu has not been renewed yet and the price mentioned on menu is old, i did contacted the MM alam road brach and they said that its not possible the prices are same as mentioned on menu.WTF

The chai we ordered was ok but the molten chocolate lava cake was amazing!
