A historical place with many many secrets....I loved the location and architecture.But people need to be more clean and decent towards these places.As they throw garbage in streets.If they keep that area clean and clear....It would be really the most attractive place to visit.

Delhi Gate was the most important of all the gates because the Mughals used it while travelling from Delhi to Lahore Fort. That is why the straight passage leading to Lahore Fort from this gate came to be known as ‘Royal Trail’ or Shahi Guzargah. Now imagine the past glory coupled with this gate, the royal guards standing at the gate, Mughal entourages passing through the streets and people leaning over the balconies and jharokas to take a glimpse of their royals, kings and queens and showering flowers

The place is quite good but it is way too commercialized. It is right next to Shahi Hamam so that is cool and it is one of the better restoration works that Ive seen. Not really sure if you can have a tour of the gate itself.

What a nostalgic view and how classic beauty it is. Its a worthwhile experience to be there and visit Shahi Hamam, Wazir Khan Mosque, ride Rangeela Raksha from Delhi Gate to Lahore Fort. There is a restaurant inside Shahi Hamam which serves quite traditional food. One must pay a visit to it.

A historical place, but relevant department (Archeology) should give some special treatment to maintain & upgrade this place otherwise we will loose the beauty & importance of this historical place.
