Outdoor seating due to covid.. I got to sit at the terrace.. it was properly covered and with Inverter AC Heater which kept us cozy and warm in the freezing cold weather.The food was reallyy good, I always get my favorite Novu Special Chicken and its the best on their menu! The pricing is reasonable, they charge 5% tax on CC unlike others who still charge 17% tax on Credit Card.

Got the food delivered. It was very very stale and bland. There was no taste at all. The chicken of cashew nuts was too hard like it was made few hours before and then heated again.The soup was thick as custard and cold. I have attached a picture of the soup. It had lumps as evident in the picture.Had the worst experience second time. Not trusting this restaurant again.

There Novu special was great and rest it was fine. Price is also affordable.A nice place to sit down however, it is way to congested. Hard to move around as well.

Novu is one of Lahores best known Pan-Asian eateries. Its located in a small market off DHA X Block. There are many other restaurants nearby, including the super terrific Amavi Bakery - Where you can go for dessert after. The place is not the best Novu outlet. The place is small, cramped, untidy and the tiny smoking room is not well closed-off. Even a single cigarette smoker will fill the tiny, four-table mezzanine with smoke. The staff is really good and are its saving grace. They serve a typical Novu menu with standard Novu taste. However, Im not so sure about the quality. I think the cramped kitchen leads to unhygienic conditions and, naturally, unhygienic food. But if hygiene isnt your biggest concern or if concern for taste overwhelms everything else - Then you can go here and have a good time.

Im giving 3 star because of the cleanliness. Glasses were not clean. Floor was dirty. I had to get a spoon changed as well. But food was very good as always. They should work on their waiter training as well. Their head waiter was too good but other staff members lack basics.

Food was great. But the service was too slow. Waited almost 40 min for appetizers. When asked for Faysal Bank discount as mentioned on their website. They refused firstly. But later realized they were mistaken. So eventually gave the discount. They can perform better if the service is fast. Food is great already. Giving 5 stars for food. But a negative star for service.

They have been serving the best Pan Asian Food since more then an year now. Always up to the mark. They literally have 6 tables and i see a lot of people eating in their cars. And honestly, i don’t feel it expensive even. Good going. Keep it up.

Excellent food with great quantity. A bit in the expensive side but is worth it. Highly recommended. I would recommend crispy honey beef with egg fried rice and their dynamite prawns.

Overpriced with small quantities - plus there were barely any prawns in the special chow mein contrary to their promise. I wont be ordering again.

I have been a very regular customer and their food was always good, Ive always recommended it to everyone. But yesterday I visited them , and the food was so spicy that it was practically inedible , couldnt take more than 2 bites without feeling extreme discomfort. Upon informing the staff they took the chowmein and brought it again twice but it was still inedible , the response we got from the staff was not satisfactory , unable to say anything we left .But sadly they have lost a very regular customer, the attitude of the staff and the amount of spice in the food frankly left me extremely disappointed .

Terrible experience of ordering Novu special chowmein. I got only a single serving portion for the price of 3-4 person serving being offered at Mandarin Kitchen and Yum. On calling the restaurant, the manager blatantly LIED that in order to compensate for this hed send over the same quantity and I must not feel bad about getting a single portion serving ...and of course, true to a Pakistanis word I NEVER got anything from Novu even though I kept waiting for over an hour thinking that he was actually feeling ashamed of sending a single serving for such an exorbitant price. Never ordering anything again from this pathetic restaurant again and would urge the rest to think again before throwing away cash and being displeased and disappointed later with what they get.

SUCH good Chinese and Thai food. Get the Pad Thai! Also cheap! We were 5 people plus a child and we got an entree and drink each plus extra fried rice and drumsticks and the bill came out to be about 1000rs per person which is super cheap for that much food. All of the food was delicious but pad Thai and novu special chicken were particularly amazing!

There is a restaurant with the name The Wok which is near to the place where I work. I enjoyed the chinese food that they provide. But after my experience with Novu DHA was amazing. They provide much better chinese meals then the wok. I never looked back. I recommend this restaurant over The Wok

Well the place is wonderful in ambiance. Nice and cozy modern design. Polite staff, quick service great order accuracy. Tried the yakitori was perfect, soft, moist and glazed all over. The bad part was the main I chose egg fried rice which was hard with undercooked veggies and no seasoning what so ever totally bland rice, I expect some seasoning pepper and salt my main Kung pao chicken was too sweet should be savoury didnt enjoy it at all. A little improvement would do this establishment wonders other wise it was a good place to visit. My honest two cents.

The food arrived cold. The soups really were just grub with too much of everything that the kitchen had. Their Novu special chicken was better but too hot even if you are comfortable with chillies. Overrated.

Novu special chicken and kung Pao chicken are a must try but their 19b(Novu special soup) is not upto the mark.

Id say this is one of the average cheap fancy places with a highly responding staff I have ever seen, not to forget the food is delicious. The sitting is not too spacious but it was a great experience!

The gulberg branch is better in every way. Defence branch is not good with ambiance and even taste.

Food was good. The offer even better. Seating capacity was very very limited only good for 15 people at a time max. Indoors seating is a little too congested but outdoor 4 seats are comfortable even in scorching heat of 46°. The service is very good and staff is super helpful.

A different place as compared to regular Chinese restaurants in town. The ground floor is just the kitchen and take Away. The upper floor has the seating area but just 4 tables in the hall and a couple on the balcony so do expect some wait. The food is single serving so everyone in the family can order what they like :) I liked the soup the most. Items from main course were also fine. The service is excellent. Perhaps the waiters are part-owners (just my guess). Prices are reasonable.

Im personally a big fan of small eatries especially the ones which are small on purpose so the owners can keep an eye on everything and can provide quality food. The small sector shop area has turned out to be one of those small eatries niche area which started from dessert directory and G.Y.M. and then expanded to a couple more joints.Novu on a saturday evening was pretty bz keeping in mind it only has 4 tables, 4 inside and 2 on the terrace.We were 4 pple and ordered the novu special fish, two beef entrees, all 3 with sticky garlic rice and one chicken entree with noodles. Noodles were exceptional and the chicken ordinary. A restaurant is always judged by me by the quality and cooking of beef, both were exceptional here. Novu fish was something different, a bit spicy and a bit tangy so i will give it good marks for being innovative. Chicken salad was very good and dynamite shrimps were ......err just dynamite shrimps, copy of the famous pf changs which even the local version of pf changs cannot do right so cant blame NOVU for not doing it the right way instead just adding thousand island sauce to mayonnaise kinda taste.The only thing missing here was the courtesy which is synonymous to such a small restaurant. The head waiter refused to place the order of chicken salad and dynamite shrimps ahead of the main order by giving the excuse that the chef gets confused if one table has two separate orders!!!! Just lame ! Owner missing from action kinda excuse. But still i would suggest to give it a shot for a change of taste and spices. Overall a good experience.
