It was empty. No food available after 10 PM. Seems like the perfect location for the beginning of a zombie apocalypse movie.

Definitely one of the best clubs in DHA. It has all the facilities you might expect from a club ranging from fitness and sports like cricket, tennis and snooker to food courts and auditoriums. A great place to kill some time.

This club is has overall the most facilities out of all clubs. It has 3 badminton courts, 2 table tennis tables, 2 squash courts, 3 cricket nets, a standard size swimming pool and 2 gyms one for women and one for men.It also surpasses most clubs in other facilities, there are 4-5 different places some for snacking some for juices and some hi-tea areas the advantage eating at these places is that its always secluded, the taste is not great but above average although because its secluded you can have a personal time with your family which i prefer over anything else.

It used to be an excellent sports club, but now has no maintenance. Most of the facilities are closed or falling apart. Hope they bring it back to its glorious days.

This place is deteriorating with time. The managers are unable to maintain this place. It wont be long before its taken by another party. However the following places are well functional:1) Bar B Q area2) Rahat dining3) Parlor: would like to further elaborate that the lady who runs it is called Sofia. She is honest, friendly and helpful. I took a make up and hair do diploma course from her in the club and it was helpful. She gives you the quality time needed for a customer

Good club for sports and dining. Membership is mandatory. I visited this club as a guest with my brother in law. Sports facilities are just right and of international standard. Cricket lovers shall find a quality ground for this sport.

They have a great infra structure but the management is not utilising it with full potential. One can easily observe the mismanagement. I hope they increase their standard in future and provide better facilities to members.

Wonderful cricket ground best ever I have played at Karachi.. And have very good management too to manage everything properly.

I have only visited a few clubs in Karachi and Southend is a personal favorite of mine, the reason why I dont go to many other clubs. It had all the facilities you could want and is the absolute best recreational area you could go to after a tiresome day. Really good Gym, swimming pool, bowling alley, sports courts and especially the kid zone. The Food is also worth it

There is no point of this club. stuff which broke down in the year 2010 is still broken. they never fix broken things. food also has degraded over the years only roof top bar b q is good. services are also not good. both ceremonial ball rooms are also in poor condition.

Southend club is a marvelous place to visit. They offer reservations for all types of party. They also offer an appropriate concession to their members. Membership is, vailable easily here.Their food is awesome is taste and quality. Specially high tea is served fresh food items and a great tasted tea.They offer a lot of food items in their buffet and in party arrangement. Their organisation in any occasion is truly reliable.

A nice cricket stadium. Recently Pakistan vs westindies women teams played three international T20 at Southend Club.

I will not recommend them at all. Had a room rented and the banquet hall booked for my sisters event, bloody guy, i believe the security manager, tells me to keep our volume down as there are guests upstairs! Dude, why have a banquet and rent it to weddings when you dont know what it will be. No Wi-Fi in the hotel, no hot water and dirty bloody rooms!! When room service delivers something in the room, they keep an eye out on what is in the room and whats not. At the time of check out, the room service guy rushed in the room, while we were still there demanding to collect the Iron he saw that we had brought ourselves. Upon telling him, it was our property, he demanded proof for the iron and would not let us leave!I had a similar experience 2 years ago when I had booked 10 rooms for my own wedding. Such an ass service? Not sure why i took a chance yet again.Please do not waste your time and money with them! They do not deserve your money at all!

The place is not being maintained properly. Sports facilities are good but food is not that great.

Decent set of facilities. However, has quite a ridiculous set of policies on guests visiting the sports area, birthday and party celebrations. It surely could do with improvising building maintenance and lighting in general.Update on 1-Oct-2019Further to my earlier review, visited today and have to downgrade my review of the facility. No maintenance. Barely anything is in working order. Classic case of mismanagement. Either the place should be put back in order or members should be given an option to get a refund on their membership fee (in full), which by the way is very much at par with DHA managed clubs.

It has turned into ill-maintained and lousy place over the period. Management does not exist, would probably become haunted in next few years considering the way its deteriorating.

Basic concept of the club is nearly end their just exercise jem fue facilities available members not satisfied with the service and they said that club management seriously dont want to be provide betterment qualities , facilities for their members and fees of monthly base payment their main concern to get their members only finally good things is for d.h.a residents have only attaraction is cirket stadium

Good place for food but or members only. Not a good place for official meetings as they dont have a good room for meetings. They can accomodate approx 20 persons in their meeting room first floor.

As usual bad experience... Grocery shop is empty.... Saw very few people in the club while at other clubs you cant find chairs to sit.... I suggest the management should include few members for taking decisions for the betterment of the club.

Terrible experience with this club. Quit my membership after 15 years.The facilities, though alot are poorly maintained and in terrible state. Courts have holes in them. AC runs only 4-6 hours a day max.Worst part of the club is their management. The complaints are not heard at all .The finance department is in terrible condition. Theyre extremely money hungry especially if you pay late they will have rolling interest on your dues. There is a minimum spend at the club but the restaurants have terrible service and medicore food

Yes , I had gone to this Club after a gap of many months i.e., on 12-5-2018 to listen to the songs of a duo for Noor Jehan ( Malkai - Mosiqui)& Mehdi Hasan ( SurKay Badshah) & a closing number of Lal Meri Pat Rakhio Bhala with Ali DaPehla Number at the Cinema Hall/ Auditorium of this Club. But it was unfortunate that my joy was short lived as this rendition by the inimitable young Boy & the girl ended at 11.30pm .The way to this Club is a tricky one & going from Kh-e-Sahar to 24th Street after crossing a few bungalows you suddenly enter into a plaza & on your right side is this Club whose plinth is quite high i.e. approx 4ft & 6 inches . There is one basement where weddings & other function are held & one restaurant & a milk bar is also situated there. Whole Club is air-conditioned. There were no direction signboardson the roads or on the streets which showed the location of this Club thus it becomes the labyrinth or the treasure trove of Ali Baba.

Stayed one night at the Southend Club. It was a disappointment at every level. For dinner, the bbq fish had too much salt. The mutton karahi was too oily and the naan bread was not good. In the morning American breakfast not available. Ordered black coffee and got warm milk with instant coffee.In the room the towels were as good as sand paper and dirty brown in appearance.The room had not been cleaned properly in a very long time.A neglected property with poor management.

Very boring and bland. It hasnt changed in the past 6 years, and its almost completely empty whenever you go. For sports its great, but for literally everything else its super boring.

This club needs a serious management change and refurbishment. It is falling apatt and nothing works except for a mediocre gym where machines are old and dangerous and a cricket pitch which is used twice a week.

Dirty, disorganised place. It could be develop but need intention and good motivational team.
