We have been going LNH for more than a decade, despite we never wanted to go to this hospital, but then a lot of facilities were limited to Liaqat and Agha Khan Hospitals, people were forced to here. Couple of my relatives were on panel and were bound to go here. Hence our experience with the hospital is extensive. The hospital is known for its medical infrastructure and experienced doctor but extremely poor nursing care, customer service, and accountability. In fact its one of the place where you can get very poor care despite paying a handsome amount of money. The hospital culture is partially similar to the rusted government hospitals, I would not advise you to get admitted to this hospital unless you have strong personal contacts in the staff or you are a seasoned Pakistani, unlike me, who can fight hard for his right. Innocent civilized people should stay a mile away.

I do had bad experiences in Orthopedic and Dermatology OPD. It looks that doctors are less caring and least bothered. They just prescribe you medicines or list of tests and didnt tell about your problem. It looks that even the junior or assistant doctors are there just for time past. The staffs looks like non professionals. The management has to get into matter seriously to keep up with the reputation. I suggest a visible suggestion or complaint box in every department.

Liaquat National Hospital is a very large hospital. My experience of 2 visits to the hospital were very unsatisfactory. The hospital has less number of beds in emergency department.Emergency means .........!!!!! A lot to the patients in emergency, whether it is accidental emergency or illness or so, but the staff is not much cooperative. They note down the name of patient and let them wait for unspecified time which is mostly a few hours (around 5-10 hours).

Liaqat National Hospital is considered as one of the biggest private hospital in Karachi. There are many Departments, Advanced Technology, Good Equipments, Qualified Doctors and competent nursing staff. plus, it is tidy and clean. Has a huge mosque, 3 parking lots and many small canteen with a couple of Cafeterias. But but but... with the passage of time, as Liaqat National Hospital grew, it grew more and more expensive as well.the thing is not that CONSULTANCY FEE is huge, no, its quite reasonable officially , but they have there own cheet ways. For example, if you are admitted in the emergency department for a certain disease or illness, they will take unnecessary medical tests, they will call specialists of many different fields and they will do a random check up. Fee for every test every x-ray and every specialist doctor visited will be included in your bill..Even if you know your illness and you have all your necessary tests reports with you, or even you are referred by another doctor of any other hospital, they will not accept your reports or the diagnosis of your previous doctor, But they will repeat each and every thing from start. So, they charge you unfairly more.. more than your expectations and more than your budget.3, 4 years back, there were water coolers installed in every corner in the hospital, but now, They dont even provide drinking water to patient or attender. One always has to buy it. You can guess the moral and ethical level of the management by this cheep example set By The Liaqat National Hospital.
