Its average place but the bbq is good..

So i ate dinner at chief Zakir’s restaurant, the food was average and so was the environment, the chairs were so uncomfortable that I felt I should eat food standing rather than sitting, there were so many mosquitos, the AC was turned on after we sat on the chairs, the Ac was at 20 C while we waited for the food the mosquitos and the room temperature started to irritate us at that moment waiter came and informed us that they were out of mutton and saying please order something else, so we had to order something else, the food came and we started to eat so I thought I should ask the waiter to turn the AC down as I was sweating while eating he came and said alright sir after I will do that but after that conversation he disappeared and we were left with the same problem. To be honest the service was very poor and the food and environment were average.Food: 6/10Environment:4/10Service : 3/10

Place is built good. But needs proper maintenance. Food quality was good. Prices are a little bit on higher side if you consider the area.One thing that disappointed me was that the Chef Zakir was himself present there, but not for once went into the kitchen nor asked any customers about the food etc. He was just sitting outside and talking to his friends.Had a good experience but wont go next time.

Extremely poor service with awfully bad food. The restaurant was unable to cater food for full occupancy and the customer service person had zero idea of handling suggestions from their guest. On identifying bad food quality, the manager started comparing steaks with biryani. The damage has been done the reputation of restaurant for me, my family and anyone requesting a review.

Extremely Bad environment. Chillers were not working. Kitchen smoke has was inside the restaurant and it creates a lot more mess. Despite all these in centre of the restaurant we saw a big rat moving very calmly and when I address this issue to management they were careless and didnt took a serious step. Furthermore, food was prices not value for money. May be some items but overall experience was too bad. Not be going again. We orsered BBQ Platter, Fish n Chips, Garlic & plain Naan. Especially I like Naan and Fish n chips. They are just using the name of Chef zakir and making people fool.

Amazing as it was my first visit to CZ restaurant. We ordered soup caesar salad and surmai fish and all the items were tasty. We also order Margarita drink in mint flavour. Ambiance was good as well as the service. I would like to visit again to check the other items also.

Bad and extremely slow service, worst food. Fish was salty as hell and everything else was bland. Not recommended at all.

CZ Restaurant is a great addition for the foodies. Ideal location, adjacent to Pizza hut, near Disco Bakery, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Parking facilities available. Chef Zakir himself present at the restaurant. Traditional food is tasteful and delightful. Environment, ambiance are good. Bar counter also offered for the visitors. Platter is a must try. Kolapuri Chicken Karahi, Green Masala Karahi are scrumptious. However, nan should be ordered according to the gathering. Next serving of Nan can take more than 10-15 min. Chef Zakir conducts the cooking classes at the venue as well.

Quite pricey as compared to shef asads urban tarka ,which was near by.. and the taste was a disappointed as shef zakir is a renowned name.. very average/below average food.. and half the order was not available and yessss one of the dish we ordered was vegetable kebabs, after taking a long period of time the manager came up and said wo hum se pak nahi nahay, 2 dafa try kiye ,jal gaey to phaink deay, kuch or le ata hoon ..we ordered an starter as we were done with the food. He said ye sab available nahi hain .. i asked for two minutes to decide if i could find something to eat as the options were quite regular.. then he said kitchen ka closing time hai jaldi bata dain so we ordered randomly..Well,the only thing great was the ambiance.. it was spacious and well decorated..so that would probably be our first and last time there.. may be others would like it.. thats totally my review.. 3/5

I visited this place on Sunday at about 10:30 pm but they were closing the restaurant and refused to serve us. Can u imagine that In the city of Light u traveled a long distance to reach a restaurant and they refuse to serve u before their scheduled closing time. It was to early to close. They have disappointed us extremely. Very bad attitude. Not recommended at all.

Disappointed...The first disappointment was there was no puri paratha... as I like bbq I eat it with puri paratha and to my surprise it was not available.Second disappointment was the cheese nan was not good... like cheese nan in other restaurents it was very differently made and was not good... it was such like on a regular nan they spreaded cheese butter.Third disappointed was the environment / ambiance was not good and ACs were not working.Fourth disappointed was about chinese rice... they were not good as well... it had a different taste not like the taste that we find in all other restaurents...Chicken tikka boti was good but it was undercooked...

Pathetic service, too much delay after the order. Chicken fried rice and spaghetti with meat balls took 1 & half hour for serving and it was cold, earlier to this order. I ordered beef steak, the order taker came after 15 to 20 minutes and saying this that the steak is finished and the drink which I ordered was also not available.what kinda service is that ??? Dont wanna give even a single star. For payment of bill, I have to go to the counter by myself and ask the server for the bill.

Over all it wAs good xperience food was good service was good. but thing that is not negotiable is there cleanliness. i was so surprised about the pathatic washrooms and the stairs were very dirty. tables were getting sticky even the floor. this condition in presence of Chef Zakir is unbelievable.no matter how goodbthe food if there is no cleanliness

It could use a bit of interior decoration. Food was good , hygienic. Chef Zakir was present there as well. But the service was very slow, it took about 45 mins to receive the starters. And the drinks(Can) was extremely over expensive.

One of the worst restaurant in gulshan iqbal as far as service and some dishes high price but quality substandard we ordered chicken karahi chicken not cooked properly chef Zakir taking advantage of his name people spoil there money if they go for eat.

Its my 1st visit to this Restaurant with high hopes due to name Chief Zakir, however it is suprisingly disappointing due very very poor management. They took about half an hour to serve starters and took 1 hour to serve main course which is still not as per order. I will not recommend to visit this place

First visit of this restaurant experienced worst. Never recommended other to go this place. Restaurant is boldly making fool on the name of CZ where found no C not Z. Exteremly worse food quality with high cost. I have ordered fried mince and they have presented mince jala bhuna Pakra cost 700. It seems that some untrained cook hired on low salary and their blunders are being offered to the customers.Here each and every item approx 700. I suggest to all be careful before to go there book room in hospital.

This is my new favorite restaurant. it can be very difficult to find good options for dining. Manager Jahanzaib is very friendly and professional and Mr.Ahsan behind the kitchen make sure the food that melts in your mouth is heavenly, Chief Zakir and his team at Cz restaurant takes care of both in a most wonderful fashion. Highly Recommend!!!
