This is the place that reminded me of Saudi Arabia. It tastes exactly like the al-fahm chicken that we get their along with the ruz bukhari (the rice). On top of that, the tomato sauce tastes the same as well. And here was a pleasant surprise: they gave us a white sauce which we initially thought was mayo or chatni. But after trying it, it tasted exactly like the Al Baik Garlic Sauce!
So upon reading so many good reviews about Al-yamini I decided to give if a shot and boy it was worth it.. The food was yummy and also pocket friendly, quantity if food was also good especially the mayo.. It did jogged a memory of saudi arabia mayo.. We ordered one arabic shawarma and one rocket shawarma and fries with garlic mayo.. The shawarmas themselves was good enough to satisfy the hunger. And lastly the bill came out 660/- pkr. Definitely recommended..Pros: peaceful environment, tasty food, good quantity, pocket friendlyCons: Staff seems bored from their jobs, no wheelchair accessibility, no way to communicate to the staff from dine-in unless you get up and go downstairs. Need improvement in ambience. No parking facility near tge restaurant.
Craved for Arabic food and craving satisfied. Doing their best to deliver Middle Eastern Cuisine in Pakistan. Ordered Arabic Tikka With Bread & Fries. Bukhari Rice was complementary and humus was from Al-Arab. It was satisfactory serving delivery on table, they managed to deliver within time also maintained quality and taste of the food. Pocket friendly. Must give it a try guys.
Authentic Yamani food, very good quality and presentation. Have tried full grilled chicken with rice and 3 type of shawarma, which was served with different chatni/sauce. Everything was delicious and well served. Just keep this in mind that the food is authentic food of Yeman so it is not spicy like Chiken Tikka. They have AC family area which also nice addition.
Excellent taste, just like Arabic food
Definitely the BEST so far in Karachi and believe me Ive tried many who seemed to put the right stuff in but couldnt deliver on the authentic taste. Lots of Soum/garlic sauce, 4 fries, 2 pickles, toasted bread (not khi pita), and of course the shawerma chicken (ask Taha to add extra AND you pay for it - reason: their roti is a bit large for the right bread to chicken ratio) - combined taste was REALLY close to the original that you mightve had at Mama Noura etc. in SA/UAE. Get their toasted chicken shawerma called Sarookh in roti (not pita) with above specs - thank me later :)
Best shawarma in karachi i have its have the same taste as i eat in Ksa Riyadh
The taste of Saudis food, especially their mandi. Amazing! And affordable, highly recommended!
Went for the first time and tried thier shawarma and yes taste was good, not to heavy for stomach, garlic sauce and ketchup was tasty and thick, vinegar dipped cucumber pieces were served with shawarma
Really LOVE their shawarmas Reminded me of shawarmas in UAE. The taste is THAT good. and the thom (garlic sauce) was Really want to try other stuff as wellVery pocket friendly
Great dishes and worth tring if u miss KSA life
Authentic Arabic food prepared by Arabic chef, quantity, quality and their sauces are so much better than any of shawarma house... Try their Arabic shawarma, definitely youll like it..
Pocket friendly
Been thinking of trying them out for a few months now. Got the chance to do so 3 days back.Having lived a majority of my life in Jeddah, their garlic sauce was spot on. I dont think Ive had that kind of garlic sauce in all my 12+ years of living and dining in Karachi.Arabi Shawarma was great. Yes, its not stuffed with fries as it should be, but they did serve fries on the side, so thats all good. All things considered, their shawerma is probably as close as it gets to authentic arabic shawarma Ive come to love and miss from Jeddah.Ill be going back very soon to try out their faham next!
