Its water is clean and its less crowded as only those who have huts there are allowed to go there. Quite far from Hawks bay and Sandspit. The beach is very rocky.

Best beach for family visit

French beach, the name suggests that its for foreigners and that was the case a few years ago, not anymore. Its a secluded beach, very rocky and a bit dangerous if you are not careful. Entry to this place is for those who have booked the company hut and have a letter from the company indicating its okay to be there. I think a limited crowd is allowed so you will not find any rif raff there. Most of the huts belong to banks and businesses so this area is mostly calm and cool and away from crowds.

Nice Beach, only accessible if you know someone who owns a hut there !!!

Great beach with amazing views and nice beach. One must find the crab guy and have him make the local style crabs. A must eat.

Water here is less sandy than other beaches. Dont forget to wear crocs or you will hurt your feet with small stones and rocks on the shallow water
