Ordered red paneer karahi. It was differwnt and heavy meal. They serve in car, open traditional charpie sitting and indoor chair table also. Food served quickly and fine spicy desi taste. Waiters are cooperative and efficient.

Been eating here since my school days. Best place for Halwa Puri, whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The chicken cheese paratha is also great. Just remember to check the bill when youre paying; Ive always had a feeling these guys overcharge for food.

Reviews here excited me to order Deras Chicken Cheese Paratha. It was OKAY but no where near the praise heaped upon it.I was expecting inconsistent service, & I got so. The lad brought me Sweet Lassi instead of the Salted one I ordered, & it took me 3-4 waves to interest him in the first place.In their defense, Boating Basins wait staff is overworked and underpaid. Therefore, prone to corruption & underhand tactics.

We had iftar last night and it was okay, nothing impressive , we ordered handi, karhai and tikka botti. It was not like Dera in Lahore

Secondly, no they dont offer good service even bills are hand written. I feel that they over charge too for a few times like stuffed parathas but these parathas are perfect for Sunday mornings breakfast.

It is a good place for open air breakfast when the weather is nice. The service is a little because of large number of people present there. Sometimes you also have to wait to get a table. Halwa puri isnt that tasty. Ive eaten better puri from small hotels.

Food is good. But usually crowded and lot of wait. For Sunday breakfast, go in earlier Hours, its too crowded after 11am. Price is reasonable.

Good Open place for Fresh Breakfast . Their dinner is tasty & hygiene

Nice place for BBQ food. They have a recently renovated seating area for families which is air-conditioned. Usually they are pretty fast with their service , and open on eid holidays

Quality of food is decreasing day by day not as tasty as earlier it was. Secondly breakfast of halwa Puri earlier it is one of the best in Karachi. But now it is like other usual restaurants . Cannot review as went for breakfast there at around 6.30 am. Arrived 30 mins after the opening hours. The food was not ready and the restaurant needed some more time to start service. Therefore cannot comment on the food but they should at least adhere to timings advertised.
