Lived every bit of food..Bonsai Pan Asian Kitchen!Bonsai is finesse and exemplary at spoiling you with their delicious food and heartwarming service. Restaurant is unlike any closed wall compact dining places.Interior has been beautifully designed by having rosy blossoms on the wall to this long & wide window having view of plants and trees outside.Even I, in hindsight, think we indulged in a little too much splendor, but their staff was super courteous and took care of us the whole time.So do try if you are looking for new flavors and classy place to hang out.A feast for everyone as its pocket friendly too.The quantity of the meals was definitely generous as we couldnt finish all the three meals and even while we were waiting for our dinner to get served I observed that majority had got their leftovers packed.

I always considered Bonsai to be inferior in its quality than its neighbours until today I discovered that it had an excellent quality food to satiate our taste buds. Amazing flavour and service both combined made our lunch a worthwhile experience. Slightly higher in price than Cocochan but the generous share of each dish justified the price tag. Definitely it does give a tough competition to its contemporaries like Chop chop wok, Cocochan and likes of such other restaurants serving Pan Asian cuisine. Would be glad to visit them again.

I visited bonsai 6 month ago and then today again what a lovely food they offer. From taste to presentation quality and quantity everything is superb. They have maintained their class. The food is not at all ketchepy and salty rather every dish has its own distinct taste and flavour.The service is prompt, very courteous staff, immaculately clean ambience and cherry on the top is their economical price.I recommend this place to everyone who loves thai, Chinese and Japanese food.

The food was amazing but as Im not a sea food lover so that was not my type.

Great atmosphere and great food. Theres plenty of parking near the restaurant, just make sure you are going at the right time. Not very impressed with the COVID measures and theres some work to be done there. The food is great specifically in terms of quantity and value for money. I will definitely visit again provided I see better COVID measures.

Its not about like or dislike, I dont have taste buds to value or appraise a dish at bonsai. What I appreciate is their courteousy and presentation however my friend who has a developed taste buds to judge better would be giving three star

When dining at such joints people not only want good food but also have some good time with family, friends and colleagues. Food taste was ok and atmosphere so so. Also the staff comes to enquire about the food which is very awkward when you are having food and into a conversation.They need to develop professionalism and train staff accordingly.

I like the place because it is less crowded specifically on weekends when its impossible to find space with less than 20 minutes waiting at any fine dinning in Karachi. The food is also good. I like the beef Negimaki

They have their days, usually the food is good. However, their customer service is not as good as their food. Im super glad about the quantity of their food though, its enormous. Good serving size.

The food was great. The five spice crispy chicken chilli tasted amazing. Thr servers were very friendly and even offered to watch out for the kids. The place overall had a very minimal decor and had a posh feel to it. The experience, all in all, was great.

Food was fine when no place in Cochocen we dined at Bonsai

Wanted to try something scrumptious for a Sat cheat lunch and headed to @bonsaipanasian as that were the only neglected one in the block!I wish it could have still been a neglected one.. Being a hard core prawn tempura fan Ordered that along with chicken Satay in appetizers.Prawn tempura were effin plain with no hint of even salt. Tasteless to the core upon complaining we were told its Japanese and like that can have with sauce. Okay as if tried for the very 1st time!!Chicken satay seemed hard dint bother trying.In mains ordered chicken fried rice, chicken chowmein on recommendation for noodles, szechwan crispy dry beef chilli and miso glazed chicken.Crispy dry beef was good, crispy crunch with balanced taste so as miso glazed chicken tho had no as such glaze just plain thin slices slatthered in a sauce without any pinch of glaze!Chowmein was too over sweet tangy saucy that killed all its flavour!Mint lemonade and strawberry shake were over sweet, chocolate cake tasted below par! Such an arid and gristly piece of sponge tasted bit bitter rancid.Chocolate mousse was good just a good melted chocolate at least some good flavor.Bonsai needs some serious amendments in their quality and flavours!! Over all 5/10 for the food.They had happy hour from 3-7pm that gives buy one get another free but tax needs to be paid and higher price of the dish would be charged.Tho desserts and sweets were all charged separately so not applicable on that.

Ambience is good. I will give 1 star to Food and 0 to service. There is no co-ordination between waiters and manager or head waiter. I ordered Sushi - Prawns - Sez Veg Noodles and Crispy beef.Prawns were sodden, Sushi was just OK ( Tao - Cocochan are way better for Sushi) which were served in 10 mins after placing order and then for Noodles and Crispy beef I had to wait for 45 mins. In result, I just cancelled the order. Day spoiled - mood spoiled..I went there at 8 pm and the restaurant was empty and before entering Bonsai, I went to Cocochan which is next to Bonsai and I was told to wait for an hour and to avoid waiting I made a bad choice.NOT RECOMMENDED

Best chow mein I have ever had.

A nice restaurant, spacious, simple and elegant. I am a fan of Japanese food and I liked their nigiri and maki. I ordered assorted nigiri 9 pieces, dynamite shrimp maki, Asian mix chilli beef (thai), pad thai goong noodles, garlic rice, lemon cheese cake and chocolate cake. Everything was nice. The noodles were sweet n spicy and the beef was also kind of sweet and spicy. The sushi platters had a pretty look too and tasted well. What I never understood is, why every pan asian restaurant has western desserts? Why dont they have desserts from the pan asian cuisine? The lemon cheese cake was good, but not excellent.

Their taste, service and ambiance is amazing. It was my first visit to Bonsai, we had Shezwan Chowmein and Crispy fried chicken. But the quantity is a little less compared to the costs. Overall it was a good experience.

Overall bad experience about service and food quality

The whole place is grand, amazing ambience good enough for large gathering. Its not cheap, luxury comes at price the food is good and everything is fresh. Service is quick and staff is also very good. But while taking orders do ask the waiter which things to try and whats the best cause the flavour is quite variable somethings are sweet and some really spicy so choose according to your liking.

All food had same taste, nothing to do with Chinese cuisine, it seemed like we were eating desi masala food with chinese spices. Service was ok.

Dynamite prawns were the best..

Disappointing food across the board, from sushi and appetizers to the main course. Ambiance noisy and service just too slow. Sadly not worth the cost or time. On the plus side, however the staff and managers were very polite so kudos to them. However the decor should factor in noise reduction and the chef should work on the subtleties of different dishes.

The food could be less spicier but it was okay. However the speed of the service was awful. Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive and it was average. Honestly wouldnt recommend this place.

Food was not tasty, not a single dish to stand out, some major menu highlights were not available, tepanyaki was too salty, Chinese dishes have over cooked vegetables, below average taste. As for the ambience, personally it felt to me as if I am eating at a factory/office cafeteria. Restaurant name is bonsai, and you can not find a single itsy-bitsy reference that you can relate with the word Bonsai. There is a serious need of some greenry/plants to break the industrial look. Lastly, the waiters and manager are over-courtous. They come and ask about food and comfort so many times that it really started to create discomfort.This restaurant; unfortunately, is the first big disappointment to me, comparing with all its much better neighbouring restaurants. Some serious improvements are needed.
