Overall the experience was good. The brisket were amazing and tacos were awesome. Tenderloin steak was just ok.Bad thing was the service: out of 2, we ordered a well-done steak but it was cooked rare.. for a rare lover it was perfect but not for someone who likes well-done.Another improvement area was drinks; ginger ale was a bit too strong, my guess is the soda ratio was high.Anyways the ambience is good and will come back again to checkout more options.

Absolutely in love with the food at Markhor.The place itself is not too big, it was clean, small and cosy and was designed like any other steak house.The food- I am hardcore meat lover and their Smoked Brisket Taco, Beef Ribs and Tenderloin Steak were just mouth-watering. All three of them had the right balance of spices, meat tasted fresh and juicy, the best part was the PORTION size! A person with a big appetite like me, was happy till at least a week!

Went for brisket and steak last night. Would rate 3.5 star / 5. The steak was cooked unevenly and was hard but the staff quickly swapped the steak. The brisket was amazing but the serving was very less, we were told serving would be 400-450 grams but it was just 4-5 slices. The taste was good but nothing to be amazed at considering the price. The service was outclass.

Amazing service, our server was really helpful and made fantastic suggestions.On my first visit we had their:- Smoky Brisket Loaded Fries.- Classic Texas Style Smoked Beef Burger it was cooked to perfection, every bite was juicy and packed with tons of flavour- Smoked Chicken with Alabama Sauce - Again the chicken was cooked perfectly, the seasoning went right to the bone and the chicken meat was just divine.On our second visit we decided to try their steaks and ribs. This takes a little time to prepare. They claim that the steaks and ribs takes about 25 minutes to cook but it actually took about 35-40 minutes but it was definitely worth the wait, we devoured and enjoyed our orders which were their:- Beef Tenderloin Steak (Medium Rare) - Ummmm a little suggestion here, please dont take offence to this but if you cant eat your steaks rare or medium rare then please dont order the steak because you will never enjoy a steak if it is well done.- Memphis Style Sticky Ribs - Perfect and delicious. The meat was packed with flavour and just slid off the bone.So 2 visits enjoyed my meal each time. Thank you Markhor, please keep up your standard.My only suggestion to Markhor is you have a very cosy restaurant but PLEASEEE get a decent music playlist, the cover of Wicked Games is still ringing in my ears because it was on repeat throughout our visit hahaha but thank you very much for the amazing food.Sorry, I dont have any pics, I was just super excited when I saw the food. The place was good. Staff and owner were very helpful and courteous. However its my personal view that the quantity of meat was slightly less. May be i was hungry at that time hence making this comment :). Few additions could have make that platter more interesting like cream spinach and roasted garlic clove.

I was really looking forward to it, had it in mind it will be good but it wasnt worth it.The food was not value for money and doesnt even taste good. We order some 1950rs without tax dish where it was committed to have 400gm to 450gm with 3 sides and salad but when it arrive it was literally 4 bacon thick strips with a salad leaf and 4-5 potato pieces and few literally few vegetables. It was 12-14hrs smoked cooked beef and there was not a single residue of smoke smell or taste it was just cooked beef.Other than that we order the beast burger whose patty was good in size but it was so over flowed with black pepper that it was not eatable at all.I was looking forward to visit this restaurant since last few months now, it was really a disappointment.

Terribly high priced for the low quality food served. Four of us went for lunch and ordered the brisket burger, the beast and the holy chuck, along with a beef ribs. Each serving was inadequate and the portion was unfilling. They all tasted the same and the sauce was ordinary.I was very disappointed in the flavors, serving size and the extremely high prices for each item.

Quality and excellent food, especially the tenderloin steak. Tacos in starter was also delicious. Overall, worth and must try it.

Being a meat lover I decided to try this restaurant. The owner is a graduate of Greenwich university and his wife looks after the kitchen. This is a unique sort of restaurant which served smoked meat that may not be easily available in Karachi. Situated at Khayaban e Nishat at DHA, this restaurant is located at a isolated road side where a few more restaurants are found in line. The parking is easily available and outside the premises of the restaurant. The waiters are very friendly and provide good service. The restaurant does not accept credit cards therefore ought to bring cash. If cash is not available then there are a couple of banks in that line where you can withdraw money. The owner himself supervises the waiters and takes personal interest in all orders. He also asks for followup feedback of the dish. The best dish that I found and ordered was the beef tenderloin steak and lamb shanks. The flavour and taste was smoky and different. The next step is to choose your sideline and one salad. I chose the smoked jalapenos and sweet potato salad.

When I was planning to go there, I was doudted about the taste of Smoked meat, whether it would be matching our taste buds or not. But it was OMG delicious. I tried smoked wings and those were awesomely delicious, Finger licking smokey taste was marvelous. We ended up with their drink Moscow Mule was also thrilling. A bit high priced but that justify with taste. Will definitely visit ASAP.

If youre looking for a great new experience with tender, tasty meat, then this is the place.Great service, owner explained each dish we had a question about and made recommendations.Food was hot and tasty.Had the Memphis Style Ribs and Smoked Beef Tenderloin Steak.Ribs had tender meat and tasty sauce. I havent had this sauce anywhere else, must be their own recipe. Really good.The Steak was great too. A nice smoked flavor and the meat quality was good. Cut through it so easily. This place definitely knows how to cook meat!One thing to note: Call ahead to reserve your table because when I went on Friday, it was PACKED. Also, if you want to order Brisket, you have to make sure to call and tell them beforehand because they smoke that meat for something like a full day to make it tender.Will definitely visit again to try more of their menu. Prices arent cheap but you get what you pay for and the unique, flavorful and tender meat is worth every rupee. Great quality, service, and overall experience. Well definitely come back.

So the brisket was a bit cold, and the ribs though glazed nicely had a overly done charred taste

Food served was extremely cold and servings were really small with respect to the high pricing in the menu. Quantity of food and amount of sauce provided could be much better particularly lamb shank and ribs. The temperature of the food just made us quickly gulp down the food, get over with it and went to another place to have a proper meal. The staff attitude also be improved too by responding to the shortcomings and improving upon them. Nevertheless, we raised our concerns with the chef who was extremely kind and offered replacement dishes in the end but we were just done with it.
