The place is not so great and not so bad for the grilled fish lovers. The place only offers grill fish and has no fry items on the menu. Overall experience on the taste side is ok keeping hygiene in mind.The place exist in the heart of tariq road which is famous for parking issues and traffic jams so think ahead before planning to visit mamu fish grill.

Food was good but too much mismanagement ... un professional staff... late serving etc etc... was embarrassed in front of family due to mismanagement and bad attitude of their staff.

An excellent place for grilled seafood. Today went with friends and was amazed by the signature taste. The seafood is grilled using olive oil and the fish is extremely fresh. The layers on which the fish breaks (Klee) while eating clearly tells that its not frozen fish.

Amongst the best grilled fish in town. They only have grilled fish option, yet one can choose between fishes. Ordering process is not as conventional as with the case with other restaurants but it works ok for only seafood based restaurants. They could do better in training their staff to give customers a better ordering experience.

Mamu Fish Grill is located in the street next to Silverspoon. The quality of food is quite good and the taste is satisfying. On the pricier side, bit its worth the money.

First time, i really feel a need to rate an eatery beyond five stars. For a public accustomed to the taste of fried seafood only, BBQ fish is a breeze of fresh aroma. They have the simplest of menu, yet can provide a wholesome seafood experience. They grill to the utmost perfection, moist fish with olive oil and serve the blessing with tamarind chatni and masala. The fish are boneless so kids can feel easy on the go. The entire scene is made complete by the small but air conditioned dining room. Give it a try this winter.

One of the best fish and prawns I ever had in ny life. Waiting time was 40 mins and we were only two people, for order of 5 they were saying 1hr waiting time. I was so hungry my stomach was arching. Waiter was courteous and soft spoken. Stairs are hard for old people, are its a spiral.

I went there to try it only to be impressed and highly satisfied with the taste and quality of the food :) Ordered a full heera fish ( red snapper ) which costs Rs.1200/kg and quarter kg prawns which costs Rs.800/quarterkg. Both the items were very fresh!To reach there just take a left from Dunkin Donuts on University Road and go straight. It will be on ur left side besides Donutz Gonutz along with Hot n Roll Snacks, it is a part of the Revive Snack Bar where you can have all sorts of desi snacks like paani puri and chaat as well as chinese. Has street sitting with tables and chairs. The family lounge isnt much but once the food arrives it doesnt even matter.

Overall test is delicious. We tired prawns and mushka boneless with red and white masala.Just dont like service. We waited 2.5 hours outside.

Had grilled red snapper in white masala. So far the best grilled fish I have had. A must try for all the fish lovers out there. The staff and especially mamu (the owner) is very courteous and customer focused. There is reasonable space for families to dine in. Highly recommended!

Excellent food but seating was not so good

This restaurant is located in Tariq Road near Jheel park. The premises is in clusters. Kitchen and counters are separate whereas sitting area is separate. The sitting area is also in separate premises where one has to walk a few steps to reach there. There are two far away separate sitting areas one where only families are allowed whereas the other is where only males are allowed. There is a unique way of ordering the fish. One has to go to the counter and chose different kind of fish which is lying there. This is fresh fish which is caught on the same day and is transported from Keamari to the shop in that evening. Once you choose the fish it is weighed there and then and the amount has to be paid immediately. The chosen fish is then packed with plastic and a chit of your name is attached. Then you go and sit on your place and wait for your turn. The fish you chose will be grilled as per your turn and then served accordingly. All fish is grilled in olive oil. There are 5 to 6 types of fish including prawns which are grilled. Tge area is fully occupied and parking is difficult there. However the food is good and tasteful especially at the time of winters.

Worst service. There is proper way to order for parcel. They tell you to go kitchen directly and nobody listens there.

Good taste. Need to specify your likings. A bit pricey as well.

Its not a out class but its good.

Went there in late hours. Sitting area is small but ok for groups. Family might get little uncomfortable. I liked both red spicy and black pepper types. Served with their decent chatni salad and chapatis. People can order boneless Surmai and Mushka. Everything is grilled here. Grilled prawns were little high on spice but were so good that i didnt left any on the plate. Overall a very good experience of taste and need improvement in sitting area as soon as possible :)

Great food. The taste was great. We had fish and prawns in both grilled forms. The size of the food items was good. It was fully cooked, however, it os a bit tooo pricey. I know sea food is expensive already, but still it seemed little bit expensive. But overall we would surely visit again.

Not a great location. Parking on road side.. Speeding cars on the road are a question about the hygeine. Seating space is just for 12 people. Taste is not out of the world, but a bit different. They use olive oil as well which adds to the difference of taste. The usual variety of fish is available.
