Really loved the food and the ambience. The manager was really great in assisting us. Chefs looked trained. Music was mesmerizing. Loved the whole experience. Will definitely come again.

We tried Kudu serendipitously. Me and a friend were looking for a new place to eat and just stumbled upon this restaurant.The food is contemporary and the presentation, taste, ambience and service is just perfect. The chef is the owner of the restaurant and I believe that has played a key role in maintaining the excellent taste.We ordered Prawn and Calamari in Spicy Sauce in Starters, Shrimp Risotto with Asparagus and Roasted Chicken in mains. Everything was cooked to perfection and was flavorful.Will definitely recommend it!

This place is a revelation, what chef Zaryan is doing in Karachi is asking people to evaluate what is possible with local produce in Pakistan. Simple dishes masterfully executed in a modern contemporary space. This restaurant deserves the patronage and support of locals because it is pushing boundaries and delivering.

A bit pricey but the food was excellent. The bread basket was different from the usual usual fare. In the mains, one of the people ordered a shrimp pasta dish with she was not very happy. However the rest of the food was very well received. Will likely go again

Incredible food and service. Have been here many times and Kudu never disappoints. Their lamb shank and steak au gratin are the things to order.

The food was fantastic, the carpaccio was very nice. I had the tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. Will be back.

Something totally unique in the Karachi food scene.

We ordered two main courses. One was their special roast chicken and one was beef steam. Both has more salt and oil than what is normal for us. The soup and bread basket was great. We also ordered their chilli prawns which did not have salt at all. The food was served hot but i do not think it was an experience that would draw us back to them again any time soon.

Extraordinarire restaurant with exclusive dinning features and michelin star cuisine

The food was perfect! We ordered a beef wellington which was cooked to perfection. The puff pastry was nice and crispy while the meat was exactly how we asked for- medium. The roast chicken was delecious. The chicken was well cooked without being dry and the mash potatoes were to die for- super buttery. We ordered a drink called the kudu special I suppose, and it was a great combination of lychee and lime. The presentation of the food was a feast for the eyes. A big thumbs up to the chef- owned restaurant! Will definitely visit again!

After a bit of research on social media, I got a reservation for anniversary dinner and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The staff was courteous and really helpful and the service was very quick. When we entered our table was decorated with candle and a vase full of roses. Also the dessert that we ordered had an anniversary wish written with yummy chocolate. Fantastic experience.

Visited for dinner and loved the experience. Food is art there. Everything they served was spectacularly presented and was a delight to the taste buds. The ambiance is upscale yet cosy, and the service was really really courteous and on their toes all the time. I loved how they wont hover around you or keep staring at you and yet will be always attentive and on your table at the slightest gesture. Tried only one desert, the deconstructed cheesecake, but I can visit again just for that.The price is a bit on the expensive side but its not crazy expensive and I was super happy paying the price.The entire experience was heavenly. Hope they keep up their standards. Very very highly recommended.

Amazing! Loved their chicken mustard and the desserts are just beyond amazing!Had their chocolate and cheesecake - both are a must have! Our second experience and Both worthwhile and totally worth the price and taste.

So, I was expecting my mind to be blown away. But at each step I was met with disappointment and was completely underwhelmed throughout. We were two people ordered separate dishes their service was bad, they didnt serve the drinks and were given to us after we finished our food. Even their food was at best mediocre and left us disappointed. I would say this place is a hit and miss kinda joint. One good thing was that they gave us a discount because they delayed our drinks. But from a dining perspective, I would not recommend it unless, you like to live on the edge.

This is an exciting entry - the chef is super passionate. The menu is an osmosis of the chefs own global culinary experiences and our own collective nostalgia. This is what is so amazing about this restaurant. Its a narrative, a delightful sonnet from the flowered salad to the honeycomb chocolate desert. Outstanding.

KUDU Is so focused on presentation and fancy cooking techniques that they’ve completely neglected the flavor aspect of it plus they’re oblivious of the fact that some things just don’t go well together. Let me start. Had mushrooms on toast for starter. The bread was not toasted at all while the mushrooms were nice the thing that bugged me most was why the hell would you put a soft boiled egg! The only type of egg that goes well with mushrooms on toast is a poached egg, you could use scrambled eggs but nothing other than that. The. Had the fish and chips. The batter was nice but the fish wasn’t fresh, it tasted frozen, it was dry,the mushy peas were cold and bland. There was no flavor of mint or garlic in the peas. Then I had Sous vide tenderloin temp was perfect but the overall sear on the steak was bad plus again the food was bland. KUDU really need to work on the basics before they go after the whole molecular gastronomy thing.

I always love their food in taste & presentation. Today I had cottage cheese salad & steak. Both were very yummy.

A Quite place with old era theme .. everything looks well aged but their food and hospitality is fresh and makes you feel better.

The ambience is great. The entree that I ordered was quite spicy due to which I was unable to eat it, the restaurant got me rice on the house which made the food edible. My husband loved his entree though.Kudu offers really good service! Overall a good experience!

The Moroccan chicken is amazing. Very nice bread for starters (complimentary). The steak is nice too. The panseared chicken dish is nice but not for those who don’t like a strong chicken/chicken fat taste. Good service.

Beautiful looking food but sadly no taste. Beetroot carpaccio was fresh but taste balance was off. Soya bean beef was quite spicy with no other flavor as such and bread (tasted like almost very heavy fried biscuit). Also ordered this potato appetizer which I forgot the name now. Its just mashed and shredded potato on a bed of an underseasoned tomato sauce. We only ordered one main which was poached salmon. It was bad!!! I understand its an acquired taste but since I know what its suppose to taste like ( had it few times before). This was not even remotely close to it!Ive heard great things about the chef and thats why I went but sadly food was not worth the money I spent. I wont mention the prices here because when you go for fine dining it is assumed it will come at a price!

We did not feel welcome at all when we sat. Service is not great. The food is at best average. Beef carpaccio wasn’t thinly sliced. Creme brûlée was rather a pudding. The only good thing is lobster Thermidor which is much better at Flo. Do not recommend.

There’s a new kid in town and kudos to KUDU!Fine dining components are about Taste, presentation, ambiance, acoustics, and service, Zarain, owner KUDU scores an A on 4 of the 5.A very welcome and positive introduction to Karachi’s ‘Superior dining’ class of restaurants.The contemporary menu is a welcome change.Waiters managed their orders seamlessly, chef owner consulted with tables for menu selection and patiently answered queries.Yes some of the tastes can be tweaked, but given time, Zarain with his receptive ear to feedback will scale it to 5 on 5!

Small menu but comforting food. Lota of bread, potato and good meaty portions feels.

The steak was tough. Suggest they use papaya or soya sauce to tenderise the meat and chicken which was a bit dry and stringy.The bread was excellent.The tart was a bit soggy because of the melting ice cream which should have been served at the side of the plate and not on top of the tart

I have been reading so many good reviews about this eight month old newbie restaurant. So this Sunday we head towards kudu and I can say from my experience that every thing was superb from food to ambience. Menu was different yet catchy and it was not overly expensive. Ill be writing a detailed review soon keep checking my insta @nidzztravel

Great Food, Ambiance and Service!

Because we have to try every new restaurant that opens up so we went to Kudu. The food presentation is nice but nothing special about the menu or the taste. The beef wellington which is their signature dish was also very well presented and well cooked but didn’t have much flavour.

Excellent food, the chef/owner knows his stuff. Will definitely visit again soon IA.

A very unique place for high end dining. Very authentic taste with fine quality.

Exquisite food served with impeccabley laid silverware. Went for iftar last weekend. What a protein feast it turned out to be! The meat platter with grilled fish, chicken, shrimps n sliced steak cuts was to die for. On top of that the pasta was a combo of Nasi goreng pad Thai. Add to that perfectly crafted mini deserts by the Chef including cheesecake n creme broulee. Kudos!!! This was actually my second visit. The first visit was a Sunday brunch where we had all the varieties they had to offer on the menu from burgers to chicken dishes and so forth. Loved it all. The deserts are very creative n a treat for your taste buds. This place is a hidden treasure make sure you visit it.
