Food quality was surprisingly good. Quantity was huge as well. And prices were very reasonable. With the advent of new restaurants, its a shame that people dont patronize this place like they used to. Would recommend and definitely go again.

The food wasnt like it use to be, everything had almost had a same taste.The rice were fine as usually as the other dishes with more likely same.From my past experience it wasnt as pleasing as it use to be.

Ambience created is soothing and peaceful. Food tasted bland. The spices and flavor seems to be unbalanced. Serving is enough for two to three persons. Pretty heavy on the pocket considering the taste.

The place is increasingly old fashioned. They dont have dynamite prawns. Their food is not good at all, the serving size is way too less. The waiters dont know about modern service standards at all. One of them tapped me on the back and asked very rudely to pass him the used plates.It was workable back in the 90s but not in 2020 definitely.

Quite old setup which needs a revamping. Food is good especially the butterfly prawns and American choupsey. They need to renovate and improve their dinning setup

Traditional Chinese dishes available but taste is different from what we expect from Chinese dishes being cooked by mashroom local restaurant claiming to be Chinese dishes and taste, but these local restaurants make these dishes suitable for local eaters by adding local taste and spices. But in China Town Chinese dishes are close to what Chinese dishes meant for this is the difference in local Chinese restaurant and China Town.

This is the place i m visiting before i was born i have always loved China town because Chinese is my favo food. But my last visit was disappointing. Food was not upto the mark.. Hot n sour soup was bit runny. Vegetable fried rice had very less vegetables but in gravy we tried schewan chicken n it was really yummy..

Not the same charm as it used to have back in my childhood. May be the lack of competition back then was one of the reasons why Chinatown was really famous.I tried them just yesterday and the food was below par. Hot n sour soup was a waste of money, pepper chicken was harshly seasoned and the vegetables were dull and tasteless.Their corn soup is still the best in town but that is just not enough to try them again.Disappointing experience.

I live in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.. As new eateries have opened near my vicinity like Ginsoy, Chopsoy and BamBou so we had discontinued going to China Town. About after 3-4 years I went with family despite after so many years the quality of the food hasnt changed and I would say its still the best Chinese Restaurant in Karachi and has its own uniqueness...

Regarding Rice:Prawn Fried Rice was excellent however chicken fried rice was normal.Curries:Chicken With green chilli was very tasty.Sizzling prawns were also good.Soups:Chicken Corn and Hot & Sour were superb.

Many years ago this was the Chinese restaurant in town but not anymore, they have downgraded their good quality of food as well as their overall standards. The cutlery / crockery is many years old and worn up and so is their furniture, especially their hygiene standards are low and they are not picking up with time. There are way better options available in town nowadays for the same price or even lower price and better taste and ambience.

One of the oldest Chinese food places in the city. The entrance and outward appearance including the waiting area is deceptively rundown and in need of a facelift. But the food itself is served fast and tastes pretty good. Good serving sizes as well.

Avoid visiting during lunch hours. Staff wouldnt address to your complaints. They seem to be trained to avoid listening to customer feedback.

Of course new places and taste felt good but it never means China Town compromises on quality , There chicken corn soup still takes me to years back.yes its true.a bowl of soup is enough for 4 to 6 persons.chomein is the second item served hot like always taste was good and one can add spices and sauces if likes.one thing there are so many people in staff in a bit low light one can not identify the person ordered. So they should introduce themselves with name or number.at the time of order they should mention the expected preparation time of order.

The quality isnt the same and price too high. They have increased their prices a soup bowl for 1000 drumsticks 1200 if youre charging so much at least serve us quality food as well. With not go there again!

Nice place to get a variety of Chinese food that includes soups, noodles, seafood, beef, chicken, rice etc. Price is somewhat on higher side but ambiance, service, hospitality and food quantity makes it reasonable to afford. I dont remember exactly that juices or shakes were available or not because I had not ordered any juice, but 3 most common cold drinks and mineral water was available.
