Excellent service and quite cool ambience outdoor. They were willing to serve a bowl of soup in the car though its quite busy restaurant. Food quality was good as always. Try red roast chicken, egg fried rice, chicken corn soup, crackers with signature sauce and dynamite chicken

It is definitely challenging to take risk in this pendamic and go out for a dinner but obviously I couldnt resist from having the best Chinese in the town! I was very glad and felt safe to see that the covid situation was very well handled by the staff management which ensured our safety. Even after the lockown , they are peoviding outdoor services so that one can easily have the best chinese! As for the food, we were first served with the crispy and fresh crackers basket and then waited a while for the soup , i had the street style soup and i must say that it was not only pipin hot but really uniquely made for that perfect taste and the extras were served in a plate to add accordingly. The garlic chicken and manchurian along with the rice were really well and so scrumtious to satisfy my craving and taste buds. I definately give 10/10 and reccomend others to must visit the place , they not only provide a safe environment but also best chinese in affordable prices.

Food is way too spicy. Fried prawn balls are really good. Crispy Beijing beef is good in taste except the spice levels are way too high. Kung Pao Chicken is tasty yet spicy. Single serving for each item is more than enough for 3 adults.

Do not visit on weekends as you will get 3/5 food with 2/5 service. The spice meter of the staff is kind of under read. Its always more spicy than expected. This might offend the spice lovers but anyways. During week days the food is good and service is good too.

I actually lovee that restaurant for its food and services. But this time they disappointed me a lot. Services were not good enough. My drinks were served quite late after my dinner was finished. Reminded them thrice for it but they forgot even though they were ready and kept at counter. Prolly because of many people were dinning. Food was great!!

It was really a pleasant experience to sit and eat in this Chinese restaurant. The ambiance, service and food was really good. They have a large variety of soups, starters and chinese main course dishes and beverages listed in an exquisitely designed menu.There are two, single and family size options available in the menu for every dish. Beware that the big portion of soup is enough for 5 -6 persons. The hot and sour soup(red) that we ordered was exceptionally tasty. The fried rice dish was also good. The dragon chicken was a bit sour and the texture of chicken meat was very soft that I didnt like. Overall a great experience and I will certainly visit this place again and would love to try other dishes in the menu. Recommended!

Well for one they shouldnt compromise on the chicken in a chicken corn soup. The rest food is good. Ask them to avoid putting in too much chillies in food

The quality of food has decline sooo dramatically over few years that even their simplest dish in their menu; soup is not good anymore.... firstly whenever I have ordered single soup from them they always takes more than 90mins.... last night they took 2 hours for just a soup.... previously we ordered they put a whole bowl of salt in the soup... whenever we ordered from them always got disappointed... even complained to their manager ... but I guess ginsoy is not in a mood to improve their quality at all!!!!!!! Worst food worst service worst management I think ginsoy should be closed now!!

Even as I write this review, my mouth is watering imagining the aroma of perfect spices that flood my senses everytime I step into ginsoy. If you are stressed and craving some amazing, delicious Chinese food, this is the review (and place) for you! The place is pristine and in top notch condition which really restores your faith for another visit. With perfect atmosphere, lighting, the cutlery style, presentation and pleasant staff, you can not only expect scrumptious food but a heavenly experience at ginsoy. Coming towards the menu! My favorite starter: Dynamite prawns. Texture is just the perfect balance of tender and crispy and the spices are always marinated in perfectly. Theyre perfect to snack on while waiting for the real deal. Talking about that, the Schezwan Chicken tops everything. Its tangy and spicy at the same time. Unique and totally mouth watering, I order this everytime along with other items. Other honorable mentions include Dragon Chicken, Hot and sour soup (to die for) and Chicken Chilli Dry. Another important thing! The quality of rice is amazing (for all the nitpickers). So I hope this covers everything you need to know about my favorite Chinese place. Great taste. Had Chinese food after a long time. Enjoyed it.

Had good experience. The staff was polite and respectful. But there was 10 mins wait, when u went up there werent that many people also 2 3 families. I dont know why the made us wait. And we ordered basket of fries which was in their menu but we got our fries in a plate whereas we were expecting it to serviced in a basket. Besides from these two things, everything was just perfect. Good food ambiance everything. Nice place to go with family and friends.

Nice taste and service but space need to be extended. Also install hand wash separately.

The prices are little bit high and the different between half dish and full dish are to big costumer service was not at high level we had to wait for waitress becouse restaurant was full.

We visited Ginsoy Shahbaz next to Liberty Book. The food was amazing we had four different type of soups like Tom Yum, Thai soup , Hot and Sour and Chicken corn. Food was excellent but waiter was young and was little lenient. But food was extremely good ,fresh and hot. We had Fried rice and chicken noodle with Chicken Manchurian, Dried beef with chili and Beef with mushrooms with gravy .Extremely tasty.Also soup was served with prawn crackers freshly fried . Good thing that they have changed there previous style crackers.

Pathetic service, there was cockroaches on the tables, AC was not working very bad experience

The menu is very extensive. It has almost all you have for lunch or dinner. Loved the fresh dimsims. Its a must try. To top it up is karaoke music .

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants of Karachi. Offers authentic Chinese cuisine. Ambiance is on point and food is no exception. Take my word, schezwan soup is their best soup and a must have. Moreover, their gravies are also to the standard and each have their own unique taste and flavour. Noodles are a must have and provide a great compliment to rice with gravies. Finally a nice beverage would be great for your authentic Chinese fit. The place gets pretty busy so I would recommend booking a table before hand to avoid waiting for a table. The place also offers home delivery as well as take away so you can eat on the go or have it delivered in the comfort of your own home. The unique taste along with the exceptional service has earned Ginsoy a high spot in my book of Chinese Restaurants and I would definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys Chinese as well as those who dont really like Chinese since after eating at Ginsoy they are bound to change their conception.

This is a high end Chinese restaurant. There is ample seating space but the place is crowded and there is not much space between the tables.Reservations are strongly recommended. The menu is diverse and includes poultry, beef, Sea food and rice.Service might be slow on weekends and during peak hours but the server clearly told us to wait forty minutes. The food was served in thirty minutes. It was fresh and tasty. Think twice before ordering the family size as the portions for family size are large ,Food is totally amazing

Love Ginsoy ! I love Chinese and this place has one of the best Chinese available in Karachi.If not The Best, but one of the Best in the city.China Town and Ban Thai are much better but Ginsoy has a more calm and relaxing ambiance.I recommend going here!

Not very authentic Chinese, Japanese, Thai or Korean food, it is a typical Pakistani restaurant with this name GinSoy (Gin= Ginger + Soy=Soy Sauce ). Very tasty, Chatpatta food for Pakistani tastes. Always overly crowded. You usually have to wait for almost an hour to get a table. But once you have it, your children always love the food compelling you to take them there again despite so much KHWAARI

Ginsoy is really a good place to have delicious noodles and prawns . It is mostly crowded and almost 15 to 30 mins wait if didnt get reservation in advance. I like their beef-chow-mein noddles. Their dynamite prawns are just yummy. In starter chicken soup is good. They also use to serve crunch papri, believe me I enjoyed a lot and it is tasty. During school days it was my most favourite food during break time. Over all ambience and service was really good. In cocktails pina-colada is nice .
