The staff didnt serve us to food properly we were not even close to finish our starters and they bought our main course there wasnt even proper crockery we had to ask for everything and the taste was really average the food at the jauhar branch is much better and the ambiance too

We were two Person we have ordered the meal Which is combo meal for rup 620 literally the quantity was so good for two persons! Then I ordered soup & crackers dynamite prawns ufffff Maza a gayab. Dil ko rooh ko sukun mila..even once a week we have craving for ginsoy’s Chiness highly recommend the ginsoy extreme Chinese ️

They are very expensive. Taste is not great just average. The rice family pack they said was for 4 persons which is only for 2.5 persons (approx equal to 2.5 single biryanis). Szechuan chicken is not using actual szechuan peppers instead used kashmiri peppers so no originality. Their beef chilli dry is very good and unique but very costly.

I’ve always liked Ginsoy and I still enjoy their food but the serving size is getting worse everyday. It’s too expensive for the quality and quantity of food they serve and the often delayed delivery is rushing them towards a downfall.I hope they really pull up their pants, I don’t want such a good brand of food getting wasted.

Today I went to ginsoy for a quick soup session before review i better mention i am not much interested in Chinese cuisine , reached there half heartedly the location is perfect situated in gulshan e iqbal block 7 wide space for parking was there with the additional valet service. The interior and exterior of restaurant is very well designed giving each and every wall perfectly china town look they maintained divine red and black environment with music. Now coming to the food we ordered Tom yum goong soup which arrive in no time soup was bit spicy on my taste buds but love its flavour fulness prawns in my soup were tender and cooked to perfection the plus point for me was there complimentary fish crackers with extra hot red sauce over all i enjoyed alot planing to go ginsoy again

Today we went there at Gulshan branch. This branch is small one and can accompanied 50 to 70 people at once and need to wait for your turn if you are at place on weekend. Food is delicious and fresh. We order the following dishes as follows:Chicken Fried RiceDynamic ChickenAmerican Chop SueyChicken Masala RiceHot & Sour SoupChicken Corn SoupChicken ManchurianDetails:Chicken fried rice was good in taste and full family meal is only sufficient for 3 person only.Dynamic chicken presentation was awesome and rich in taste but bit high in price. They should increase the full meal quantity from 8 to 10.American Chop Suey was good as well cooked well and quantity is sufficient for 4 person.Hot and sour soup quantity is sufficient for 1 person if order single. Taste was good too.Masala rice is good for 1 person and taste was spicy.Overall everything was perfect and I must tell that they offer very special papaar which is also good and does not include in total bill which complimentary and you can ask as many as you can eat.

First of Ginsoy is too too too good. I think for me Ginsoy is the top Chinese restaurant in Karachi or maybe entire Pakistan. I love their more than enough large portions and amazing taste.Particularly this branch got my 3 stars because I always feel something missing in this branch, the ambience feels different than Sindhi Muslim branch and more importantly the staff is different, as in not as welcoming as the main branch.Maybe it is just me but i also feel the taste is also a bit different here than main branch.

I had ordered Dynamite Prawns but they served Tempura Prawns topped with the sauce that is basically a dressing over Dynamite Prawns.This was very annoying. Overall the food was good.Would have given 5 Stars if they had not made the above stated blunder.

The food is at least as good as any other Ginsoy beach. The interiors are nice and the wait staff is friendly.A good option for those living in Gulshan especially when compared to other Chinese food offerings in the vicinity.

I found it too spicy for asian/Chinese food.The service was slow and uncomfortable. The waiters were like, heres your food with a long delay; now eat and leave!Might never eat at their Gulshan branch again.

The food is exactly same as we would have at any other franchise. The only difference is in the environment, this is is a bit cramped up in a small space. Parking is a bit issue as well, but the staff makes up for it...

I went to GINSOY, Gulshan-e-Iqbal (Karachi). Architecture of the building is good, exterior is well wrapped up with louvers and interior is elegantly stitched to perfection. It was an odd time (5 PM) so we entered the place right after masses were leaving it. We had to wait as they made the table for us. One thing which was a little turn off was the space between each table but there wasn’t much they could do about it as it’s a compact building (may be turned commercial from residential). There is also serving area in the center of the dining hall, which restricts more than one person to pass freely from the aisles.Coming back to food which is why we chose this place. I am a fan of Chinese cuisine (especially what is typically served in Pakistan); GINSOY is no doubt one of the best Chinese dining in Karachi. The menu is easily understandable for a layman unlike Chop Chop Wok, where you will need to Google each food item before ordering it. We made our order and it took not more than 20 minutes for it to be served. Food was good in taste, satisfied our taste buds and fell right into our expectations.Quantity of serving was also sufficient. My partner was not very happy about the food temperature but we decided not to complain about it.We didn’t order desert or drinks because we were already feeling full of our main course. There wasn’t much left but we asked them to pack it for us to carry. Then there was time for a compulsory Wash Room visit. Wash Room was not quite up to the mark. If it is old in design not having modern matt finish in floor and walls and over the counter sink but tissue paper dispenser is a must for a restaurant wash room. Rest room gave a residential feel like it was retained during the times when they were converting the residence into a fancy restaurant. During my visit to rest room my partner ordered the bill, it showed what was expected. We paid the bill along with GST and yeah! SRTN Number was there on the invoice.Overall our visit was good and we were happy we chose a good spot for quality time. I must add that prices are a bit high comparing the restaurants in that locality but they were just maintaining the rates with their other branches. If you are Chinese food enthusiast this restaurant is a must go.
