Nice flavor of chicken, it was thoda sa hat kay not spicy but flavorful. love it..
The place of Arabian and Syrian Cuisine in Karachi.Food is delicious.
I think one must taste its Pizza and Baked / fried Shawarma!
Visited Damascus after a long time, happy to see the improved ambiance, quality of food & service. The revival of the old sauces and spices reminded me of the golden days when Damascus was at its peak of splendour. The classic shwarma, pizza and furrouge was a true treat for the taste buds. Recommended for all Damascus lovers to revisit and relive the original Damascus experience that has returned once again. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to another visit with family and friends soon. The place have outdoor seating, so it is very suitable for the people who use wheel chairs.
Food is good, seating needs to be improved- you sit in open parking space to eat
Falafel warp not real test but close ill say good
Expensive. Food is decent but nothing exceptional. Service is mediocre. Ambiance .. well its in the middle of a parking lot. Their pizza is good value for money though, the only decently stuffed crust Ive had so far.
I visited here coz it was a saviour for my time of need. Loved the hummus they make. Had to only drive through for a pick up. Accompanied with the bran pita breads they had, it was a meal in itself.
I have been visiting this place since 2001 and every time I have found the taste as inviting as it was first time. The farrouge platter is their speciality and I like how they do the chicken without much of spices. The blend of olive oil dipped in the special cream sauces wrapped in whole grain pita bread tickles your taste buds. Love the place and their uniqueness.
Not the value for money. We ordered Pizza there. It was bland, tasteless. Shawarma Platter was also too ordinary. Seating place was nice, since the weather was nice, it was airy and pleasant
An institution that has been essential to the casual outdoor dining and sheesha (back in the day) for decades.I went there after years and ordered the same dishes we used to order more than 15 years ago. Everything was just as good as I remembered.
Love the taste of the food. Have enough parking, partition for families. Best Arabian taste in Karachi.
A good outdoorsy experience.
Yummy full chicken.a unique taste you cant find any where else..sitting is outside so sometime quite noisy.. rest all all ok
Good doner style rolls & even better mutton shwarms. Full chicken Farooj is the BEST!!! BUT they should serve load of vegetables with platters! Very disappointing vegetable serving in term of a very few *QUANTITY only, no issue in quality
The ideal place for a boys only gathering. Have tea and play some board games in open air.
Always a lovely place to visit. The chicken usually is on point and the salad fresh however this time the chicken was a lot drier than I thought
Excellent food and good service. A good place for the entire family to go.
Good food.Good place for friends gathering.Good services
They got good hummus, tea and shawarma. Their open air ambience is great. Good place to casual hangout.
Shabby seating as its always been. Disinterested servers. But the shawarma platter we ordered was fresh and tasty. Helped that the weather was nice.
Order incorrect and given in 35 mins against informed 15 mins
Best place for showarmas. Their lamb shawarma is 10/10. A nice place with good Arabic music in between the hustle and bustle of karachi
Have always loved this place, it did have consistency issue couple of years back but they have sorted themselves out
Its a cool place to hang out with friends, open area with good service & food.
Food isnt the main highlight here this place is more for sitting under the sky of Karachi and feeling at peace for once in the bustling city... Tea however was fantastic
Excilent, supperb, very nice and tasty. I Like it sooooooooo much.
Pure Arabic taste.... Just loved the shawarma and furooj
Damascus Restaurant serves probably one of the best Shwarma if not the best. Its big full and tasty and you enjoy every bit and bite of it. Highly recommended for a try
Chicken cheese shawarma is to die for, again childhood taste comes forth, quick dirty cheap street food, epic place on winters to enjoy the season
Their pizza is one of the best in the city. Very different. Very unique
Quaint place with outdoor seating. The flame grilled chicken is to die for.
Service is a bit slow. But its shawarma and faruj is really good.
Open air you can enjoy Green Tea along with the all time Lamb Shawarma
Amazing food. It is the best labenesse resturant in pakistan. It is a small resturant but still amazing
Tea was horrible. Better try other chai Wala near this place.
Nice place clean open area environment with good delicious arabic food
Food was good. Waiter messed up the order but later fixed it. Baklava wasnt available. Superb doodpatti. Good value for money
Their shawarmas are probably the best in Karachi but expensive.
Great place to sit outside and enjoy Karachis beautiful evenings. Service is good, cats roaming around and getting tangled up in your feet and always tons of fun. You can no longer get sheesha/hookah, hope that comes back soon.
- Very uncomfortable sitting and light arrangements.- Mosquitos and insects are too much- Furniture is in bad condition.- Washroom is in very bad condition, even water is not in tap, filled in a tub- Service is not up to the mark- Food taste is ok but not too good as experienced in gulf
Good food and decently priced.. good value for money
Food was good but small portions and overpriced
Farooj is nice to have. For two persons
It was a very popular place where people come to have arabian food as well as sheesha. Now they omly offer food.Outdoor sitting and nice place.
Good value for money. And nice road side cafe
I miss going to this place. They were the ones who made me fall in love with Humus. Fine place with extremely good menu amd all round treat to have with friends and family. If this still exists, i will surely pay a visit one fine day.
Best available place for chai sutta
Nice environment but Green Tea serving Kettles are extremely dirty.
Once upon a time it used to be good. Now u can get a green tea here in the evening. Its an open air place
The food quality is great. But sometimes the waiters take quite some time to deliver the order on your table.
Its a good open air casual place to sit with friends.. but now more amazing cafes of such type are opened
Tasty shawerma. Need to improve in pita bread and they put lots lots of tahinay sauce, which make the taste diffrence and not easy to eat..
Bad taste no what arabic taste looks like
Food is basic. Chai is nice. Just dont go their with your family
It has been serving since ages. Good place to relax with friends or family over a cup of tea or have roll/shawarma
We need to order onething two times again n agin then they bring it fine
Decent Arabic food with open air atmosphere so free time can be spent here. This place has a relaxing vibe so a gathering of friends or family can be done without any disturbances!
Super shawarma in Pakistan you can taste here
Gluten free shawarma dont bring the authentic taste
Nice casual place it used to be, but then our government realised that sheesha is the most dangerous thing for us and they banned it
Shwarmas are such a craving for your taste buds. Shwarma platters are quite authentic and a good place to spend time with friends out in open.
Good food for the simple shawarma lovers. Other items available on the menu as well apart from shawarma.
Orignal Shawarma is filled with Mayo garlic sauce.Bit Expensive
Tea was really expensive and the taste was badOnly had tea
Had tea there and it was very nice... Or I would say the tea was fantastic...
Great taste. Really always recommended
One of the good eatery options in Khi. Food quality is good. Nice place for a family dineout. Parking easily available at night.
Shwarma and chargha is nice
Consistent shawarma. Garlic sauce to die for.
Good place to dineout and hangout. They have open space segregated for family. It offers casual dining items.
Wonderfull school
Good Food, Nice open space to sit in at the evenings. The space is actually a paking lot during the day time.
One.of the best shawarmas in townThe kunafa tough is terrible
Tasty food. Good experience. Change in taste
One of the oldest restaurants to serve Arabic cuisine tailored to our taste buds. Open fresh air, nice place to sit in for snacks.
By far the most authentic shawarma in town although sometimes they over do the garlic sauce. Its still my go to place for shawarma craving even after almost 16 years
Damascus is a nice restaurant good for gatherings of friends and having a cup of tea and some snacks full marks for the environment which is a parking area and a makeshift tea and snack restaurant in the evening usually group of boys and girls are seen chatting for long hours over a cup of tea or coffee. The menu is good but a hit expensive as the plate of fries is over 200. But the taste is reasonable and full marks for environment. Personal favorite is the shwarma ...
Was here just for the tea from Quetta Hotel
Awesome food, specially platter. Proper baked chicken with Humus and pita bread. Havent experience such juicy grilled chicken with add-ons, in town.
Nice nice
Superb place.. soothing place
Visited Damascus at clifton. Its been around for a while and was expecting some traditional Syrian / Lebanese cuisine. But sorry to say the food quality was very mediocre and didnt really stand out. The hummus and mutable was really bland and disappointing The pita bread was fresh and tasty and the nephew and nice enjoyed their chicken zinger burgers. However wouldnt recommend Damascus if you are expecting Syrian /Lebanese cusine
Damascus is one of the only resteraunts that offer a complete gluten free menu. For all of us deprived and craving for some bread based food. This is the place to go.
Decent service . Comfortable outdoor seating but the Shisha section does dampen the mood somewhat if youre with family . Unique flavour .
Absolutely amazing, delicious, brilliant, terrific food. Service is possibly the worst. Delivery service is something out of nightmare.
Green tea is the only reason its an ok place
Its a nice place to spend some hours after a long tiring day and have a flask of tea is really a peace of mind
Nice place to visit at night. Separate portion for families. Cool breeze and nice music. You can order a chai or eat something as well. Good place to relax
Lamb Plain Shwarma is great. But no indoor seating area
Nice arabian resturant open area sitting arrangement fresh & clean environment
The seating area is an open place on a portion of parking lot. The food is arabian salty in taste not suitable for desi food lovers.
One of the pioneers in chai paratha business. And their parathas have remained as tasty as when they started making them. The area is an open space which is good for a casual hangout with friends and family.
