I went with a friend and its one of the best experiences I have had recently. The food... absolutely delicious. The serving time... surprisingly fast as if they knew what we were going to order. The service was great and friendly. Above all what I liked the most is when I gave them my visa card of meezan bank I didnt know that there is a discount on it that I can avail and surprisingly they themselves discounted my bill...I mean who does that? If it was only for food I would have gone there again, now having a great experience, I would definitely go and recommend everyone to check this amazing place. Five stars for me and best of luck for the team at charcoal grill.

Do darya is known as a food street at sea view road, defence phase 8 in Karachi. There are so many places to stop by and my favorite spot is Charcoal BBQ n Grill. The menu has a huge selection from traditional food to Chinese, Italian and western. Mutton Karahi and Jalapeño pasta was exceptional. Do try from cocktail selections as they were great when we tried it. They also have private areas for family get together with a beautiful ocean view. Staying there around sunset is always a good moment to capture. If you are using Uber or Careem to get there from other side of Karachi then request a smaller ride from do darya to Clifton as it can take more then an hour to get a long ride from there. Have fun eating

Good atmosphere.. Food was good.. Ordered platter and was enough for two.. Got card discount so prices were amazing in that way as well.

Charcoal bbq n grill never disappoints me. Its been years i have been dining out their and they keep the taste buds thirsty. A little bit expensive but the serving size is too good. I always love their parmessan pasta and its single serving is good for two person. Very good and taste and lots of flavours because of their boiled garlic spinach. Veggies as a side line. One small soft dinner roll. Two 200gm chicken fillet coated with crunch. Pasta with olives and Jalapeño.The other thing i always ate is their tax max nachos.

The dirtiest and unkempt restaurant Ive ever been to of this level. Even the food was barely acceptable. Would never go there again nor recommend anyone to. The only star given to this review is because of the location, being next to seaside.

If u are looking for mostly a Western Cuisine then this is the place to be. I found the overall ambience somewhat depressing and the furniture left a lot to be desired. Chairs were squeaking and not at all comfortable. Dinning table was too low to have a proper dinning experience considering the height of chairs as well. Lighting was down right depressing and the over all Decor needed some freshening up to bring it to 2020 levels. However the customer service and the courtesy of the staff was refreshing and made the over all experience quite good. Now for the most important bit Food. Order the Tex Mex Nachos as starter and loved them (could have done with a bit of Salsa Sauce). Please do try them. Ordered the Sea Food Platter and found it quite good as well. The staff was good at upselling and helpful. I wish the management would freshen up the furniture and over all decor and bring it at par with the food and customer service.

I have always loved going to charcoal BBQ and always go there whenever i go to do dariya. Their food is too good with great value and the portion of their entree is always so good.

All the places on this beach fronts are always a soothing experience. That do let us sacrifice food taste, this is the 3rd time I ended up at charcoal no doubt they have different taste their signature steaks are really good.

Its kinda disappointing how the staff is not aligned. One person said were offering discounts on SCB card, but when I was paying they said that theres no discount on SCB. Which is disappointing. The foods really good. Overall experience is good.

I was reluctant to order a burger here because I thought I can get a burger anywhere but since Im not a huge fan of steak I went ahead anyway. My, my, when the burger arrived the bun was the size of a regular frying pan and I had doubts on whether I would be able to finish it all. But when I bit into it I couldnt stop myself either. Left this place feeling very satisfied. Probably no point in describing the location....what is truly consistent about Charcoal are the size of their servings...from their appetizers..which a number of persons can have a fill ...to each of their entrees which is enough for two persons..The food is good and this area is an excellent place to take your guests...

Plan for Amazing sunsets and lots of photo opps.Popular for BD parties, group events, weddings, or simply romantic evening for 2.Could get a little chilli so do keep an extra clothing / shawls to enjoy post sunset dinner. Good choice of Desi/ Pakistani as well as semi western dishes.Yup, will go there again.

Hi-tea was just okay. Fish was good, chowmein was dry and cold, shashlik was only tangy, dessert section was stale wafers and so on.....

Awesome food, service, view, hygiene and staff! Highly recommend! Their portion size is pretty awesome, one feels more than just full. There’s play area for kids too. It’s moderately expensive, won’t make a hole in your pocket. A steak costs less than 1000 rupees .

2nd Review, 19th Jan 2020So this time we thought to try their bbq menu so we ordered Chicken Bbq platter. It took little more time which was justified with the taste.Platter include Chicken Tikka, Chicken Malai Boti, Irani Boti, Behari Boti and Reshmi Kabab with steamed Rice. Platter was more than enough for 2 persons.Taste wise it was very good, tikka was juicy also. Only thing the Pori paratha was very small as compared to the price tag.The worst thing happened, we asked them to pack the remaining food for take away and guess what we were surprised to see less number of items in our take away bag.1st Review: The best restaurant to satisfy your desi food cravings. The view is second to none. You and your family will love to spend time here while having a best view in Karachi.Winter is the best time to see some Siberian birds here.

Fav desi restaurant

One of my favourite places to visit with friends, colleagues and even family. They have started Sheesha as well which was closed due to govt ban for quite some time now. It is located do darya so it is always a refreshing experience to visit any restaurant there. Coming to the food i really like the beef mushroom steak and seafood choder soup served in bread bowl is also special, would continue to visit here regularly.

Very nice dining option but weekend service get slow and you dont get a quick table and service.Views are perfect..Food was 8/10value for money 7/10
