Simply beautiful, good service and the quality of the food and serving is superb. I strongly recommend the tuna tartar and the apple tart.This is a classic French restaurant in Karachi. The decor is very European and soft jazz playing in the background. The menu offered a good selection of French dishes with some daily specials. The chateaubriand was tender and delicious. Twinkling lights and an enclosed outdoor area make for a relaxed and intimate atmosphere

This place is far ahead of the curve in ambiance from its nearby competitors. The cosy environment relaxes you after a tiring day at work. Perfect for family dinners and hanging out with friends. You can forget everything while youre dining here and just enjoy every moment.The menu is quite vibrant and diverse with multiple categories to choose from. However, I felt the starters category a little short of options.Overall the food is amazing, however little expensive though but combined with the amazing ambiance, the value of money feels justified.Dessert was cherry on top, we ordered lava cake and it was one of the finest lava cakes Ive had in a while. Will visit again soon!

The place has good food and ambiance but the prices are way too high even if compared with similar high end locales n restaurants in clifton. Maybe they consider this high priced food a status symbol attracting high n affluent gentry. Honestly n frankly speaking there was nothing that special about food that justifies the high prices. The taste was same as any other cafes like delfrio or gloria but still....will only recommend if one intends exploring new places with great ambiance but make sure to remember the pocket factor!

Flo is one of the first fine dining restaurants. Its still the only French cuisine place out there and the best place to have Foie gras, and Escargot in Karachi. Thier service is very good and they are accomodating for events and parties.

Beautiful ambiance & delicious food

So i went to one of the most expensive eateries in Karachi.. The ambiance was Ah-ma-zing and i think thats what makes it most expensive.. The service was on point and pretty fast even on being a fine dine....For starters I had prawn tempuras. The sauces served had perfect balance of taste and the tempura coating was cripsy as required. The prawns were fresh from the Arabian sea..loved it!..The beef tenderloin was THE BEST STEAK i have ever eaten in my life. Though m not a beef person but everyone would agree with me on this after trying out..The beef was so juicy and soft. BTW we got the imported cut from their special menu thats why it was expensive.. BANG ON though!..Tarragon chicken was decent i would say. It had a bitter flavor to it which was the only minus for me....For dessert i ordered Creme brulee and it was even better than that of Xanders. BEST ONE I HAVE HAD SO FAR!..Recommended? its okay to go to such places once a while..

Due to Covid we wanted to go to a place that had outdoor seating option. Flo has a beautiful outdoor dining area... The food was perfect... The salad crisp with caramelised walnuts and a nice vinegarette.... The portobello mushrooms fleshy and rightly baked.... The crepes creamy and oozing with chicken and mushrooms.... The bolognaise on spot with the mince cooked to perfection and the cherry on top was the tiramisu....

So I’ve been coming here for ages now. Went with 2 friends for lunch today.We order the spaghetti with prawn (8/10), the snapper with cumin(6/10) and the prawns with rice (9/10)z the snapper was very oily, the prawns also deep friedWe had a rocket salad as well(8/10)The falsa and mint lemonade were both great.This is the weird part - we were sitting indoors as it is really hot and I smelled a lot of cigarette smoke. When I looked around, there were 2 tables smoking indoors. When I asked the waiter he said - “it is 100% a smoking restaurant, there’s no non smoking area”Flo Management FYI ....it’s 2019!!I am shocked that such a high end eatery can say that and think it’s ok. NOT returning for a long time

Exceptionally amazing evening spent at FLO, from the ambiance to the service to the food, everything was delicious.Ordered fois gras, steak tartare, portobello mushrooms and beef carpaccio and to end it on a sweet note was sinful pudding....Beautiful evening with a sweet sinful ending!Amazing

Had an average experience at Cafe Flo, personally loved the ambiance had a pure french culture touch made me feel like I was in one of French restaurants, was so quiet and peaceful. Flo had more of Corporate people dinning out maybe because of the service and also for the food.We ordered Roulade de Polet and the Penne Pasta Sauce Tomate. I loved the presentation, it tasted delicious.the only thing that makes me think if i wanna go back again was the quantity of the food in comparison to the priceWe paid Rs.3800 for two dishes but they weren’t enough.The chicken was tasty but the quantity was very lessI wish they could increase the quantity& also they charge 30% Tax, 10% Service Fees and the Water bottle they provide which I think we didn’t ordered or asked for but was provided to us by them was also charged and we couldn’t take it with us either.I would give 7/10 to this restaurant considering all the facts it was a Fine restaurant.

Good Good Place n Food to enjoy time

Ordered a Ribeye medium, but unfortunately it was extremely hard to chew and dry; this is the second time that I have experienced a bad steak at Flo + had to spend about 8-10 min telling/convincing staff that the steak does not taste anything like a medium ribeye; need improvement on steaks as well as on service! They have the potential to improve and they should improve other vanished is written on wall. Good luck

Decent place. Overpriced yes. Run by the rich for the rich. Ambience is the saviour, food is okay, you can find better food elsewhere - serving size is just ok. Service is good.

Good pleasant experience. Our family were there for dinner, remember having a steak that was not over cooked and a good piece of meat. The appetizers were good. Ambiance is nice and the servers were responsive. However the maitre de did not give us a good seat in spite of having made reservations.

Went for early lunch (1230hrs) so 1st there. Sitting outside with sun on cool day was fabulous - tho flies irritating at times. Guacamole with Smoked Salmon special was excellent with fresh crisp salad garnish. Both the beef Lasagne and Spaghetti with Prawn/Tomatoes were very good and not too heavy at lunch. Little more expensive than other similar places but definitely quality with good service. We shall return!

The atmosphere is wonderful. Taste of food is great as well. I tried their prawn cocktail a couple of years ago but have been told that they dont serve that anymore. But somehow I felt the value for money was not as good as it shouldve been. Around $40 for two persons. One salad and two main courses.

Authentic Cuisine with a superb taste!If you are looking for a classic french cuisine, Cafe Flo is a must go.The ambience is excellent. The staff is polite. The service is 10/10.I loved the food! It reminded me of my meals in Italy and France. Not spicy, you can enjoy the original taste of food!I would recommend the food to all the authentic food lovers. On top, The Pina Colada served here was so good that you can have it before, during and after your lunch/dinner.Beware: Their prices are higher. On top of that they charge 10% service charges plus 13% Tax. So its 23% addition to the price mentioned on menu.

Delicious food, very attentive and caring staff. Clean, upscale requires early reservations. Clean toilets, Vallet parking available. No wifi.

Too much expansive & taste less

The food quality is excellent but the quantity is not satisfactory. Pricses are a bit high. Staff is highly professional. I wont go there again. 2 drinks, 2 main courses and 1 sweetdish costed us around 6100 Rs. Beef steak was good but the chicken steak was just okay.

Ohkay .. Good ambience, tried Bar B Q steak (P.S the name was kinda difficultto pronouncein italian :P) . It tastes good. ordered it in medium well condition . Perfectly cooked. The place is quite pricey though .

Beef lasagne was the best.The staff was friendly and polite. They were on toes to fulfill your needs.The Cesar salad could have been better. But it was fresh, so not really complaining... Though it could have been better. Not the kind I have never had before.Im in love with Beef Lasagne.

There was nothing very bad about this place. Cafe Flo is an amazing restaurant to go to. It is the only french place I know in Karachi. I could say that when you go into the place, you really do feel like you are in France. First, the service. The service was lovely. The people that work here are very friendly, and they never made any mistakes. It was great. The food. It was excellent. I’m running out of positive adjectives to use in this review. The classic steak tasted like steak that you would usually expect from a French restaurant, and it reminded me of an entrecote place in New York City. The french fries were on point. There was enough salt. Now, the atmosphere. The lighting was lovely, and, as I said, it felt as if I was in France when I was in this cafe.

Its a place for an authentic French cuisine. They have inside and outside sitting place. Highly recommended

In their defense, we chose a dreadfully stormy night to visit. The food took about an hour and when it did it was so tough that done of our group had to send theirs back. My pepper steak was pretty okay but not quite worth the price. Dont bother ordering from their gourmet menu - theyre no better than the regular menu. The price also didnt deter a group of rowdy teenagers and some families with young, crying children. Desserts were their saving grace - go for them if nothing else. The credit card machine stored working but luckily we pooled together enough cash between us. Domestic help were also heroes, wading into waist deep waters and running around with umbrellas in the pouring rain to make sure we got to our cars. They earned that second star single-handedly.

Too expensive with worthless taste. They are adding Service tax in invoice as well, when I asked them reason about adding service tax which was actually 10% of the bill amount, in my case it was 343/= as my bill amount was 3430/= without tax. Manager said it is for all invoices as part of bill. Then he said as you are visting 1st time so we will minus this from bill.Ordered Two steak and 2 cold drinks costed around 3900/=.I asked to suggest spicy steak, he brought Jalepeno chicken with white sauce which had very big description on the menu but it had nothing like that except grilled chicken.Just two things were good, 1st was ambience and 2nd was Coke cold drink.Not sure how this restaurant has got rating of avg 4.

Cafe Flo is a nice cozy place. Very popular with a section of karachiites. Food is tasty. Drinks are good too. You need prior reservation and that too a few days ahead.

While Flo is a classic, Im not big on eating beef so I always feel like Im over paying! Its delicious food and a lovely, romantic spot but thats about it. Pictured here is their spaghetti with prawns.

Beautiful ambiance, delightful service and a perfectly done steak. The waiters were always around but never too close to make you uncomfortable. It was an overall a worth it experience, would recommend 10/10 times.

Great Food! Beautiful ambiance and very nice staff. You should definitely try the stakes here. Also you can bring your own alcohol and they will make you drinks. Overall excellent place for a dinner with friends or a date.

I have been avoiding to go to Cafe Flo for a while as I am not very fond of french cuisine. But I was a little pleasantly surprised on my first visit . They definitely have a nice, outdoor ambiance . To my surprise I found the food to be be amazingly good this coupled with the service we got made the whole experience very good.Since I am not very adventurous on trying steaks on different restaurants I opted for seafood but my friends were all praise for the steaks and I will definitely try it in my next visit.
