Always a pleasure to go to the east end. The five course meals are almost all delectable and I love the drinks matched specifically with each course. Great service too! Overall a huge fan! Particularly enjoyed the lamb shank.

The 5 course option is worth having, the appetizers are perhaps even better than the very generously proportioned main course(s). The Karachi street main courses have the best range of appetizers to offer. The ambience contributes significantly towards elevating the overall dining experience.

Truly a great and different experience. The ambiance feels and is a fine dine and the service is prompt. A different concept of every dish being a 5 course menu with a good desi and bohra variety. The taste is just amazing especially if the mains and the drinks are also refreshing. Liked the desserts also especially the malpura one. Definitely a must try.

The food was excellent, waiters were very helpful, really enjoyed it. Was a bit puzzled over the decor though... doors were propped here and there on the walls, they were also hung from the ceiling, (as partitions).. There was also a bookshelf as one enters on the wall. Dunno what the designer was trying to convey ! But it was a good experience.

This place is not just a regular restaurant, its a different experience compared to other restaurants in Karachi. The ambiance is somewhat romantic but what makes it stand out is the simplicity of the decor. I like that they have used floor tiles which were used almost 2 decades ago and the other side has pebbles on the floor which is good too. You will find antique furniture, a transistor so big that the current generation would think of it as just a big table, old phone and lamps, storage boxes which I remember my grand mother had and never saw them in market. We ordered a 5 course meal and an additional main course, the food was excellent with the right amount of spices and cooked to perfection. The various starters and shots were a unique experience which I havent seen locally. To sum it up, we loved the food and the place and we are definitely going again to try the other items. Great job guys!

Great for people who like fine dining and new cusine. They have set 5 course meals with each item supreseding each. Each course is served with a different mini drink. Each course stands out on its own and the pairs well with previous or next course. The staff is very courteous and coaches you with novelty items.

One word Fantastic :)Basic, homely, comfort food ingredients used to elevate a five-course meal with a fine dining experience. You won’t get anything like this in Karachi, and that much I promise you.Overall Rating: 9/10Average hit: PKR 2500/-Located literally at the East End of the city, off Khalique uz Zaman road (Punjab chowrangi), nestled in a bushy corner – this place welcomes you with serious home feels. Coveted with a nice parking space right outside the place, upon stepping out of your car you’ll notice a giant crow with a wooden background awaiting your welcome. It’s a small, cozy place, with a very comfortable ambiance, well lit and a plush interior. The first look is welcoming, and you see waiters in crisp whites bringing you two menus – signatures and specials. The way it goes is something like this – in a five-course meal you only order your main course and you get 03 appetizers with it, 04 seasonal fruit drinks (shot glasses with slushy texture) and then at the end a dessert of your choice. You start off with a chilled detox water consisting of beetroot, lemon and mint and then your appetizers start coming in along with your drinks. The appetizers are crafted according to your entrée’s styling. We were a bunch of 4 people so we ended up trying all their appetizers: chilies stuffed with mixed spicy pickle with flour based crackers to just soothe the spice, sweet boiled potato with crispy paapar and a chilly based dressing, boiled potato dressed in mint yogurt with fried egg plant and assortment of dressings, cannoli type sweet potatoes with herbs and tamarind sauce, three different types of bite sized parathas (sweet, savory and spicy), BBQ fried prawns, flour based twisted rolls stuffed with minced beef and tamarind sauce.Yes, I just finished the list of the appetizers. Each one of them had a superb unique taste and it would be unfair to differentiate them on basis of taste. Just to make things clear, one person gets three appetizers, so you might just get 03 of those appetizers depending on what you ordered. Finally, here’s a list of my breakdown ratings:Taste: 9/10Quality: 9/10Quantity: 9.5/10Presentation: 9/10Ambiance: 8/10Location: 7/10 (difficult to locate, unless you’re using google maps)Value for money: 7.5/10My main course was a classic Burn’s Road Khatakat – served with garlic parathas. I am not much of a heavy eater and because of the whole list of appetizers being presented, I had to give up on my main course midway. Which made me realize that five course meals aren’t my thing, lol. But the dish in itself was sublime. Perfectly spiced khatakat, well balanced flavors, less oil, generously served and just went very well with the whole meal. The drinks they served were an imli and gur slush, kiwi slush, mint lemonade slush, orange juice slush, and a pomegranate and black pepper slush – all shot sizes. At the end, you have a choice of gajar ka halwa, khajoor ka halwa, malpuris, and kulfi. For me the khajoor ka halwa was superb. I would get that on top of any other dessert, any given day.Long story short, this place is an experience of an own. If you have the budget, and someone you want to impress, then well – this place won’t let you down.

Not as good as i expected as per previous high ratings. Dining here is a unique experience, yes, but you dont get the value for your money. Ambience and lighting were poor. Starters were average, their small drinks during while meal were good, but my biggest disappointment was their main course. We ordered two and both were just average. Desserts and tea are also just above average. And all of it costs you 3000 per person which is too much in my opinion. May be i will visit once more and try out one other main course some day. But for now my opinion is that you can visit it once only to experience their unique style and small menu

Cozy place located in a converted or retrofitted basement. Expensive beyond reason even for their 5-course claim. Seems as though condiments become a course. Mains had some taste but by that time there would be not enough appetite left. Its a very expensive insight into Bohra community palate. Book seats ahead. Some times they will accommodate without a pre-booked arrival. May not recommend to people looking for quality food as the prices are unreasonable and do not include taxes. Costs amount to 2600 to 2900 Rs/person per meal.
