Khanna bridge market is an open air market spread over few roads around khanna flyover. Both sides of one way and two way roads are occupied by carts full of vegetable and fruit vendors. Few small streets also have shops mostly for very cheap household commodities. Two superstores (a madina cash and carry and a save mart) are in the. The site has a roughly established patrol pump. It is very busy and crowded in thr evening and on holidays.

Always very busy, though the new Khanna Bridge/Flyover is now functional since a year, still the traffic is a rush here. Police needs to manage the traffic more efficiently and charge those who take wrong u-turns, they stick the traffic, the most.

During the Lockdown situation me and my friends purchase some refreshments from Khana market. The place was totally lockdown by law enforcement agencies so we find some shades in the basement of Allied Bank. The place without lockdown is best place for purchasing and selling everything whatever you want.

The market at khanna pul is good laternative of sabzi mandi of islamabad. the prices are almost same. to the resident of ghuri town, PWD, DHA and behria it can be a stop to buy fresh and cheap fruits and vegetables.

I only have one suggestion for Authorities kindly remove carts and other hurdles from roadside to improve the flow of traffic.

This market is placed next to a main bus stop and that is how we got to see it.It has many sections but we were interested in the fruit and vegetable marketwhere the products looked very fresh and cheap. Lots of strawberries, cherries, greens, tomatoes and sweet potatoes among other things were sold in this market.

An excellent place to get the freshest fruits and vegetables and the best prices in town . If you love fruits and enjoy freshness, go to this place and have the best bargain. The sellers were honest and sold what was displayed to my surprise. I like to engage people and too my surprise many of the vendors were well educated , graduates and had opinions and ideas about this country and it really amazed me.

It was just a wish to visit the market and find the ground reality, so finally I did it and found that the prices of different vegetables and fruits are actually almost the same as in different other markets of the city. Lots of variety, all kinds of products in all available qualities. From vegetables to fruit, from dry fruits to beans and grains, from meat to cooked food, from cellphones to computers, from garments to shoes, from medicine to wood, from furniture to electric equipment and what not. The issue I faced here was language. Most of them speak potohari language which differs a bit from Punjabi. Also they recognise you the moment they look at you if youre not a Pindi-Waal.
