The first visit was amazing when I ordered their beef chilly bowl. The second one was average as the food wasn’t warm. But overall it’s a good place to hangout ️

Visited 2 broke engineers a couple of months ago and my Chinese cravings were satisfied.All items were freshly baked, the vegetable chowmein was delicious.The highlight of my dinner was the dessert, some sort of brownie, sweetened to the perfect amount and was gooey and soft in the middle.

A remarkable place with a perfect view. Went there for their famouse high tea and it was worth the time money. Loved it.

Ambience and service is very good. The food was good overall, except two issues, quantity of pasta was too little, and Lemon fish actually had no lemon flavour and was rather too sweat, and tasted more of pineapple. Hence 4 stars.

Its been so hard to get good brownies delivered in Malir area but not anymore! 2Broke.engineers has changed that.Ordered these hash brownies from them. Fresh and hot, perfectly moist with a top crispy layer, for only worth price, these four full-size brownies are a steal!Definitely worth a shot!

Great little addition to the food space in Islamabad. Location is good, though a bit cramped. The menu is priced realistically. Per person cost would be Rs. 1000-1100. Food is fresh and tastes great. The item in the picture is their specialty dish and I loved it.

The one hi-tea platter that was seriously worth the money. Enjoyed everything in the platter By 2 broke engineers. Serious value for money.the order time was a little more than expected but everything tasted very nice.Even the desserts which are at times a turn off in buffet and hiteas were good.

Chinese food was great and classic. It wasnt as hot as I expected but still great. 1 bowl fulfilling enough for 2 people. 2BE special steak was also delicious. Ambiance was awesome. Definitely gonna go again.

We were a group of 10 people and ordered 5 bowls. They mixed up 2 bowls and got the other 2 totally wrong. The waiters were extremely rude and called the manager who had no clue. The person who took the order, had the correct combo but they prepared all wrong. Ordered 1 cold coffee and got 3 served. The owner himself kept asking what was the fuss if we got 2 orders wrong. He didnt cared or apologize for incorrect orders. We left the restaurant without being served for the 2 wrong meals but were still charged fully. Will never visit again. Inshaallah

I went to this place with my family in the evening and we had steaks and burgers the steaks werent outstanding but they were good nonetheless. The burgers were also good.Overall the environment was very good nothing outstanding but really cozy and open and the lighting was really warm and welcoming. Its a solid 4*

So their chinese bowls are rather unnecessarily spicy. Cheese balls were really good though.

Very bad taste and quantity was not as per the price. We ordered their special steak and the taste was not good. Mashed potatoes were more like potato gravy and taste was really bad.

1st visit to the place. lovely ambiance mainly because of the glass walls which allows the natural light to come in. I had stuffed chicken which tasted divine. Tried their steak, I ordered Well Done, But it was served in Medium temperature. Though taste was good but not recommended at all. Name suits the eatery! I will suggest finding better place.

Went after a long time, had my doubts about the taste. We were a group of 6 people, and had ordered 6 bowls. Quality and value for money was i would say about 7.5. If you happen to have a choice then i would recommend that you choose other variants like ginyaki and asian wok

Its a good place for food their menu is a combination of Thai and European Cuisines. Food is fresh and tastes delicious but does need a little bit of improvement in presentation. They dont have much sitting area so do expect it to be crowded and noisy on weekends. The decor is a little dull and kept minimal but the glass panel wall makes up for it and if luckily you get to sit by it you can enjoy the alluring view of Jinnah Super. The staff is friendly and service is good but a little slow during the rush hours.

I didnt like the taste, there are far more better Chinese places to dine in. They can improve their taste or change the chef. Mint margarita was the worst. Although the quantity was good enough but who cares about the quantity if the taste is not upto the mark.

After hearing so much about this place, I decided to visit on my trip to Islamabad. The place looks great - decor and the overall vibes of this place are great. The food, sadly, was a little average though. Nothing extraordinary.

Quatity, service and quality was ok but, you have no match to Ginyaki. May improve material 8n tje quatity and bowl filling with a bit smart not shabily dressed attendants and ifg course tatse of served food.Improve table setting

Such a beautiful place. I love places that have a lots of sun shine coming in and it’s one of them.Amazing staff.And the rates are very reasonable too.We had schezwan fish bowl, prawns and brownies.The noodle bowls are a win win.Didn’t enjoy the prawns much.Brownie was just fine too.But it’s worth going for the bowls. Definitely a competition to #EAT and Ginyaki.

Never have I ever had food that was not just up to the mark, it was intolerable.The presentation was nice, the ambiance was fine, but the thing that mattered the most was absolutely off the mark.

Very good in quality and unique taste of food items

First time visited the place. First impression noisy and crowded, perhaps Eids second day so way crowded. However, food was delicious and fresh. Excellent soup. Had sesame honey chichen and Kung Pao Chicken. Both were excellent. Mint Margarita was above average. I gave them a 4 star because there food is good and the price is reasonable considering surrounding restaurants. Staff is polite and courteous. They really need to change their cutlery and crockery. Its over used or not properly cared therefore worn out. Please replace it.

Bad experience..Ginyaki is way better..poor service

One of the most pathetic steak one can have in Islamabad with oil in steak pot , we have tried beef & chicken and there is no taste in either. They even dont know how to make fries. Service level was slow and I had to remind them about drinks. Health & safety measures are lot to be desired as there were lots of small insects especially towards corner tables. Prices as compared to service, taste and environment are rediculous.

I heard that they had good bowls which is why I went there. Unfortunately, its not very good even though they have a really nice looking sunny little place! Just imagine it while its raining outside.The chicken chilli dry was a bit sweet and the portion was a bit off when you compared out to the amount of rice. The honey chicken had a weirdly thick skin/batter on it that I didnt appreciate at all.What really made bad was that the glass was dusty (and the water tasted it) and the cutlery was very worn looking. I had to have it changed cause there were yellow dots on my fork. This may have just been a fluke or maybe was a stain that doesnt come off now but its off-putting for sure.The service was really good though! That is something they deliver on.

The place is gorgeous from the inside, small but doesnt seem claustrophobic at all. However do not order their steaks, the serving size is very very unjustified. Their menu could do some more dishes, like they dont have burgers or pizzas. And the washroom needs a whole lot of improvement, very disappointing specially when everything else is spick and span.

A new touch to taste buds has hit the city few months back. They prefer bowl dishes system that too in quite a standard rates. The soups are really yummy and quite economical. The blend of Rice & noodles with Chicken, Beef and Seafood is quite exquisite. People do visit and you would love the serenity around.

Okay Today I went to 2 broke Engineers for the first time for a Community Meetup. I heard about the place but never visited. Chai was very good and brownies were good too. Now coming towards the order I ordered Chicken Alekiv which was served with lot of sauce and the taste was pretty good. Good food and cooperative staff. Place is little cramped. Availability of couple of tables outdoor is really good for smoking. Food quality is not best but good except for ‘Fish & Chips’ which was extra ordinary. Availability of lavatory is a downside

Their name is real catchy specially for engineers besides ambience is fine and staff is good. Needs a bit improvement in recipes for stakes to enjoy the real taste of meat, otherwise they have a bright time ahead.

Very friendly ambience. Their bowls are the best but their main issue is that everytime we go they get something extra on our bill or we are to get a discount through some app,they refuse to change/correct it. They say sorry sir hamare system mai ja chuka hai and you have to pay it.

Average decor, below average food and poorly cooled on a hot summer day. The tarragon chicken (supposed to be their specialty) was nothing out of the ordinary. The same creamy sauce that is used in multiple dishes I am sure. The chicken was overdone and tough. Service was slow and sloppy. We were literally sweating because the cooling was bad and all the manager could say was that is because you are sitting near the window. Seriously? Ever heard of customer service and trying to find solutions so the customer is happy? Dont blame the servers though - the onus is on the owners and the training they have given them. Wont be going back here.

They learn very well. They read customers want. Very comfortable place specily for family. Their taste was good. And yes not much expensive as compare to others.Best of luck for future . We believe they bring some more tasty dishes.

I wish if i can give them 0 star because first of all today i went there and ordered chicken chow mien right after i took 3-4 bites i found a large hair in my food , i called the manager on duty ( don’t know his name ) he took the food away with the attitude of not a problem and with no apology on the top of everything when i ask for the check with the other food my family ordered they added my food as well? WTF ,,,,, so i called manager again and told him that i even didn’t eat my food why its in the check he showed an attitude and got it fixed like gave me a BIG favour? Not going there again since very unprofessional people running this spot.

So me and my friends went to 2 Broke Engineers for lunch. First thing, they had a limited number of menu cards which were less than the number of seats in restaurant. The menu card was very ordinary. Colorful printing on a lightweight matte paper. In my point of view, atleast the restaurant can print enough menus as much the seating. The place was giving very good vibes but it was noisy. I preassume it was because of the lunch hours. Anyways, coming to food, I ordered Moroccon Chicken with Mashed Potatoes because well i had no choice other than Mashed potatoes (tho i prefer french fries). My friend visited this place before and he said Their Mashed Potatoes are better than Fries. You are gonna love it because they serve mashed potatoes with a cheesy layer on the top So i was sure it was gonna be best. Thankfully Moroccon Chicken turned out pretty great in taste. Loved its spicy sauce, just the way i like it. Other than that, mashed potatoes were a total disappointment. My friend said They have changed their mashed potatoes because it wasnt like the ones he had last time Other than Moroccon Chicken, my friends ordered Mexican Chicken Steak, Mushroom Chicken Steak, Parmesan Chicken Pasta, Schezuan Chicken, Honey Sesame Chicken, Beef Chilli Dry, Beef Chilli Onion and 2 Broke Special Beef. 2 Broke Special Beef was the best of all the remaining dishes. Mexican Chicken Steak was pretty average. All the remaining Chinese Bowls were pretty ordinary or lets say Not as good as the ones we have at GINYAKI So if you are in town for Chinese, No one can do it better than GINYAKI. Lastly, their Parmesan Chicken was the worst. It was dry and bland. Since only the dish I ordered was good, i am rating it 3 stars. Or else i would have given it a worst and horrible experience.
