There is no charging ports inside or outside the room except usb charger. how do you charge laptop or other devices! just one port is available for males and one for females and those are actually used for iron.I had problem with parking. I had a bike which i parked to the road side but actually that is not parking place, but staff said that is parking place.You can eat lunch and dinner at hostel for 100 each time.Breakfast items are omlet, paratha and tea. Tea was just so so, while omlet paratha is nice.if you want cheap hostel book from its own website, from booking.com they charge 940 per night.Wifi is too slow and only one saver was in working in a room.Cold water is available free of cost.

A very good facility allover the country. Rates are very reasonable. Now they have started their restaurant. If you are on a vacation trip with friends then you will really enjoy this facility. Youth Hostels are located on most of the tourist attractions in Pakistan.

Nice hostels. Neat and tidy. Reasonable charges. Facilities are also good like, kitchen, lobby, presser, iron stand, air contioned, TV, hot water etc. Food is average. Location is also good.

The place is a good place for staying for a day or two. Tou can call on their land line and order for booking. And they will ask you to send them an email. And they do keep rooms for you on phone booking. And they call you a day before the booking to confirm if you are still planning on coming. The special room is for around RS 3000 a night with breakfast. And you can have your meals for only 100 rupees each meal. Good place. Run by the government. Ambiance is not that of a three hotel but as a whole its an ideal place for a family to say as a rest station while traveling.

A good place for small budget travelers

As a backpacker, it is difficult to find a budget accommodation in Islamabad. The Pakistan Youth Hostel is a government owned hostel which provide a budget accommodation, the price already included the breakfast. Location is good. However, I wish the staff who is working in the front desk could improve their service and manner. They sometimes carry a pocket face and seldom smile even I said hi or good morning to them. They made me feel like i did something wrong to them. Also, this hostel had lots of group student stay there. The students always make noises in mid-night like from 12am to 3am but the staff never stopped them until everytime I complain. I wish the management of the youth hostel could look at it and have some improvement. Overall, I would recommend to stay in this youth hostel.

It is a good site for youths especially students to stay in capital. Whenever, a student team wanna stay in a hostel they are suppose to choose this hostel which is not expensive.

PKR 2500 per day seems to be a bit expensive but its worth it. Its for Executive Rooms category. Overall, the environment is neat & clean.

4 stars for administration behavior. Overall rest place is cheaper and better for bike tour stays.You can also have vip room there in 2500/- with a.c. facility, otherwise their room charges are 650/- per head on 8 persons sharing room.if you have registered with them (300 rs/- annualy) then these charges are reduced to 550/- and they have free breakfast facility.Wifi is provided with slow connection.
