The new Italian chef is a disappointment. Firstly the quality of food has gone down , I tried the pasta in chefs recommendation and was absolutely dry . He never even bother to ask how his recommended food was after the service . He was rude to waiters and only engaged with expat customers. I will only return when this chef is changed

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants and reasonably priced amazing food everytime

Zigolini has always been a favourite and one of the only places in Islamabad to eat a decent Italian meal.However, like all restaurants in Islamabad, with an increase in popularity, comes the decline of quality.They have recently changed their menu and no longer offer some of the dishes they were previously famous for. It was very disappointing recently to have ordered a chicken parmesan that was raw inside and a green salad with grilled vegetables that had only a lemon juice dressing, that couldve easily been prepared at home by an amateur chef.They have also started using canned mushrooms which renders their dishes quite ordinary and not worth the price. One would atleast expect real mushrooms in a 5 star hotel for the pizza and risotto coming at a price of >PKR 1000.

Its an italian restaurant where you can get quality italian foos upto some extent.Not every item is that much authentic but depend on the chef .As italian dishes require experience and indepth knowledge so only those can judge who has the previous experience of such taste and food.

Excellent pizza & pasta. One of the best places Islamabad has to offer in terms of food. Operated by an Italian chef who goes out of his way and often customises dishes to best fit the customers requirements.
